I have been to this location dozens of times. The food ia great! But today the service was horrible. Ordered food then went to sit down and not a table was clean. Cashiers taking orders to people ignoring dirty empty tables. No customers in line. When it came time to leave asked cashier while she was waking back to register for to go boxes she reaponded sure and never came back. They usually bring you Baklava with your meal, I was so fed up with the poor service after I had given a 20% tip that we left with out our Baklava. I do not recommend eating hear the service has gone down hill. I will see if the Chandler location is still good. read more

I have had everything on the menu and am completely satisfied every time. I moved to Chandler last year and was sooo sad I was so far I couldn't really have it anymore. Green Corner is our fave Mediterranean place, because the food is top notch in flavor and freshness. The prices are very reasonable. Service is friendly (also they include complimentary baklava with entrees). We REALLY appreciate their earth-friendly to-go packaging. It gets busy here during rush hours but the kitchen staff does a great job of getting orders out in a timely and accurate manner. Best greek fries. Best falafel anywhere, IMO. I just stumbled across this place a few days ago while in Mess. The name was deceptive but figured I'll give it a shot and I am glad I did. Fantastic food and authentic middle eastern. I tried the Chicken Shawarma plate both times I was here and it is great. So are the hummus, salad, the saffron basmati rice, hummus and baba ghanouj. Very hospitable owner and staff and most of all great food at reasonable prices. I am a fan now and will visit them again repeatedly. I gave up on Mediterranean/Greek food when My Big Fat Greek Restaurant closed their location in Tempe many years ago. Everything else was either at the mall, far away or a formal sit down place. I'm so glad I like to talk to friends who like to try new restaurants too because they told me about this place that I drive right by a lot and I'd never heard about this place. So glad that their personal opinion and other Yelpers were right about the generous portions, reasonable prices, the awesome service, the complimentary baklava, and delicious food. I tried the lamb kebabs and lamb schwarma. It was tender and flavorful. The rice was aromatic and so tasty. I liked the salad a lot. I wish I could pinpoint the exact dressing. It was different. I think anything with red onions is good. There is lentil soup to try next time. My kids ordered the lamb and beef schwarma sandwich but it looked more like a saag? Which will be a delight to my other kid who wasn't with us but loves his saag. Sorry don't know if I spelled it correctly but son has had them in Portland at the 10th and Alder food carts and loves them dearly. The place was busy Saturday night. I love this spot. Friendly staff, amazing food, always fresh tasting. What's not to love about this place. I always hey there gyro. Full of flavors and tenderness. I decided to try something new gyro salad. The salad had a huge portion of the gyro, lots a yumi tomatoes and onion. What I was disappointed about what it berly had any feeta cheese and olives..the Greek dressing was delicious (best of ever had) aslo there tiziki sause. I think I'll stick with the Gyro's plate. Came here before a trip to the Mekong market and I am so glad I did. For a fast food type, counter order restaurant I would say this may be the best overall experience I've had in a long time, if not ever. My friend and I ordered the mixed shawarma plate along with a order of Greek fries. The fries were beyond delicious. They were cooked to perfection with a delicious seasoning and covered in feta cheese and typical Greek sauce. Serious heaven!!! Now onto the plate. It comes with a small Greek salad that was really nice if you like olives. I do not so the dressing wasn't my favorite but if you do you'll love it. The chicken and beef were cooked perfectly and had the best flavor!! The hummus was one of the best and eating them together was a great experience. If that all wasn't amazing, there's still more. The best rice ever comes with it as well. It's seasoned with tumeric, cardamom and a touch of cinnamon (I asked). Amazing!! The service was fantastic, including a free piece of baklava that they brought to our table. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered meat to go and another hummus to enjoy for lunch the next few days. If you think that all the 5-star reviews for this place are fake or paid for, let me assure you, they are not. We love Mediterranean food. So we were super bummed when Sahara closed and the owners retired, because we went there nearly every month for their fantastic hummus. I despaired of finding a replacement close to my house. Because while Pita Jungle has nostalgia, it's hummus really doesn't make the grade. This place has fantastic food and even better service. I don't think I've ever had a single complaint about the service. Not only that, I think they've actually impressed me every time with how nice and quick they are. Competent staff and a clean restaurant is rare enough, but the food here really blows most other places out of the water. I've had nearly everything on the lunch menu, and it's amazing. Their falafel is the best I've had, bar none. You should never settle for dry, tasteless falafel ever again since this place exists. They generously spice all their meats, and you can taste the cinnamon on the lamb. The hummus is properly creamy and savory, and comes with a very generous helping of pita to help you eat it. Also, their side salads are awesome. They put huge chunks of crisp, fresh vegetables in them and never over-dress the salads. Their house dressing is impressively tasty without being overpowering. I don't know what the technical term is for that garlic yogurt sauce, but they make it really awesome here. It's overpoweringly garlicky, just like it should be. The portions are absolutely massive, especially if you order off the dinner menu. I can usually manage to stretch mine to three meals, and it still tastes fantastic when it's a couple of days old. We eat here regularly, and will continue to do so for years in the future! read more

THIS PLACE IS BOMB. I'm middle eastern myself so I'm very judgemental when it comes to this food, but I'll vouch for this place every single time. Not only is the food amazing, but the prices are dirt cheap. You can feed 2 people with generous portions (probably have left overs) for about $20-25. That's not all. The honestly have the best fries in the Arizona. The first time i ate here i didn't expect it to be so good, so i had to bring my fiancé back the following day and she felt the same. I wish it was closer, but either way well drive a bit lol. One thing to keep in mind, everything is made fresh so be sure to order in advance even if you plan on dining in it will take about 30 to 45 minutes for your food to be ready but trust me it is well worth it. read more

It's got the general type of menu that you see at all of these spots (gyros, kabobs, etc.), but be prepared for intense, delicious flavor and LARGE portions. We had to take a minute looking for the place, but it was worth it--apart from the food, there are really friendly folks here and the joint has a nice atmosphere. The staff took care of us and we even were brought some baklava samples. Absolutely tasty dessert! I am not always a huge fan of Mediterranean food but I absolutely loved the food and I agree this place is a 5 star joint out here in Mesa.
