Not transparent about credit card charges. I went in for a massage, I asked if they accepted credit card and receptionist said yes and did not mention credit card surcharges. I was charged 4% on $50 for the massage that I had to pay before receiving the service, a separate transaction was made after the service for the tip and I was charged 10% processing/surcharge fee!! The audacity. No where in the establishment nor did the receptionist mention this extra fee. The massage was good but UNETHICAL practice, not sure if this is even legal. I asked the masseuse about the surcharge and percentage before paying the tip and she said "she doesn't know because it's not the business that is charging but the credit card machine" LOL I called and asked why they are not transparent about the fees or consistent with the percentage and the receptionist just said "our regular customers know" no offers to refund. Spring Spa has been a favorite of mine in the last year. I first stopped into the sister shop, Spring Feet (next store) for a wonderful 1-hour long foot/body massage. Then I ventured over to Spring Spa as I had been having a lot of lower back issues. For $60 I got a deep tissue massage that alleviated my pain. I have returned several times since, and continue to be happy with the service and price. I have paid over $150 for an hour long massage and feel that Spring Spa offers the same quality for a much more affordable price. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!! I'm giving this place 1 star because I have too, if I had it my way they would get 0. Overall experience has been so bad that it makes me angry!!!! I purchased a $65 Groupon (koffee body scrub massage)for Spring Spa. When I booked my appointment I made it clear that I have a Groupon and it was not made clear that they will not accept my Groupon. Day before the massage I call in to confirm my appointment and at reception the lady speak the bare bones of the English language, the most she can say is yes and ok. My conversation didn't progress much and in frustration I hung up because we weren't getting anywhere. I turn my for my massage and same lady at the front desk, I tell her I have an appointment and she says ok. I'm mean what does ok mean, does it mean sure come on right? I give her my name so she can check me off the appointments list and again she says 'ok'. Now this is getting weird, so I told her I have a Groupon and she says no Groupon. I'm confused at this point, I said what do you mean no Groupon? She phone called the manager who speaks slightly better English than the receptionist, and she said that the don't accept Groupon and I need to contact Groupon to get my money back. She said that someone else (whom I couldn't figure out) put the deal there. It all was super fked up, not the experience one wants when going for the massage, and if you don't accept Groupon then take the offer down and make it clear during the appointment stage. Seems like a scam to get ppl into their poxy Spa so they can deny Groupon and sell their own services with a $10 discount. Was pleased with the cleanliness of this place as well as the friendliness of the staff. Making an appointment was no problem and the therapist had good skills and managed to work out the issues I had accumulated in my lower back. I do plan on returning and also want to try the foot massage place next door. read more

I've been to several spas in the Valley and this is the cleanest and most professional of all of them. They are also the most honest - on one visit I accidentally overpaid them and they immediately returned my money, All in all, an excellent place to do business with and a top quality massage. read more
