This location sends me emails with a coupons but when its a free item he flips out, he said he was ok with losing a customer who orders pizza once a week for years over a valid free breadstick coupon, the pizza is not worth dealing with the management that treats there customers like that. When I was told that this would be the greatest pizza I'd ever eat, I hesitated. Usually, whether it be a film, television show or food, such substantial hype only inspires me to prove the opposite, because like any adult male, I refuse to allow myself any fun or enjoyment in life. I ordered a pizza and salad from this Green Lantern location recently. I was told my food would be ready for pick up at 5:45. When I arrived they said it would be a moment. 30 minutes later and after multiple times of asking when my pizza would be ready. They found it sitting in the warmer. There's really nothing better than a Green Lantern pizza. Check that - there's one thing that overshadows their pie....their customer service and commitment to guest satisfaction. Now, I may sound like a slappy here, but I recently had an issue with an online order and was highly disappointed. SO disappointed that I originally gave Green Lantern one star. Not even 24 hours after the error, I got a personal phone call from the owner of the company...not to simply apologize, but to let me know that my comments were heard and that changes to their online ordering system were already in place. F-ing outstanding. Not a lot of places "get it". Green Lantern does. So go and enjoy their pizza...support a local company that does things the right way. The food is excellent at Green Lantern the servers are wonderful as well. My family has been going to Green Lantern since we lived in Madison Heights in the early 80's and I was very happy to get to go to the new one an I've been going since it opened. However be very careful when you order a carry out at least in my case every time I order carry out I don't receive my whole order always something is not there a sub, chicken fingers and other things. And the cooks when you eat in kind of screw the pooch on the extra cheese and sauce on the pie and always seem to put some green pepper on my pizza. If it wasn't for the overall taste and a long standing love for the brand the rating would be lower. read more

Hey the newest location of the Green Lantern store on 18 mile. The same great Pizza just a lot closer to my house. Had the big thick cut pepperoni large rd and an antipasti salads. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. The 18 mile store easy in easy out good service and quick. You can't set down to eat at this location just so you know. All in all just as good as the original 12 mile and John R location which make me very happy. Now if they can get a location on the north side of Hall that would be just wonderful hint hint. read more

Pizza is okay, but one of your delivery drivers (specifically in a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee) just drove around my neighborhood squealing his tires, driving at least 50 mph and bumping his base music. This pizza is pretty delish. They don't go easy on the toppings which is really nice. I got the thin crust Meat Lovers, so much meat! Loved it! This is the best pizza EVER!! Lots of toppings and baked to perfection. A tall Labatt's, and you have a great meal. The Lantern bread should be called bread covered with cheese. Ordered two large pepperoni and Italian sausage plus Cheese bread and an Italian sub which comes with coleslaw on the sub... I loved the sub but had to scrape off the coleslaw because it made the sub too sweet for my taste... Pizza was great and so was the Cheesy bread! They are not skimpy with their toppings! Delivery was super fast and food arrived very hot. A bit pricey but I will definitely order from them again using a coupon of course, lol read more

Would avoid this location. I will definitely not go back. I ordered over the phone and came in to pick it , I come in and get ignored for 2-3 minutes their "workers" look at me and say nothing and walk away. The whole staff looks like high school kids, I see in the back 2 workers throwing dough or something around instead of working, totally unprofessional environment. Green Lantern carryout! The same great taste as the original 1946 Green Lantern location at 12 mile in Madison Heights. Great PIZZA but, I live too far away to enjoy their pizza at the 12 mile store on a regular basis. But now with the new location at 18 and Hayes, I can have their great pizza and have it delivered Yea their are lots of Great Pizza places in Detroit but, to be one of the best, you have to have something special. Green Lantern has it, from the tasty thick cut pepperonis to the over the top loaded pizza toppings. This is not a $5 dollar PIZZA and it worth ever penny or dime. Good stuff read more
