Very professional technicians & have no complaints on their service or communication during* the process. We had our duct work cleaned and our chimney. I reached out to the technician and original contact two weeks after the service (we've changed air filters, house cleaned, etc) about the significant dust issues we were still having in our bedroom. No response from either person. Disappointing after paying $1500 and still struggling with the dust.. To note, the cleanup process was also rough after the service as there was dust and debris all over. Had to have house fully cleaned by a cleaner. Main complaint and reason for the 3 stars is the non-response after the job was completed. read more

I provided when the dryer vent was cleaned the last time and was quoted for $79. No formal quote, just Yelp message. Then they showed up 1.5hrs earlier as picked and had to do an "inspection" first -- which was the first red flag. The inspection showed that this needs a "deep clean" for $299 which was then immediately sent via text message payment link. No such invoice with the old quote. I was told by the technician that I got quoted the "maintenance" service that is done every 6months. The yelp chat showed no mentioning of maintenance cleaning on top of the project in yelp mentioning the last cleaning being more as two years ago. I showed this to the technician. I said I am not interested, showed the message in the chat, mentioned that this is most likely fraudulent business practice and that I will leave a negative review. Out of the blue they were able to do the job for $79. They only kept my business since I don't want to waste more time on a simple and fast task. One extra star for making it right. Another star for giving me unasked $20 off the "maintenance" price for the inconvenience. read more

UPDATE: The owner contacted me and apologized for the confusion, and gave me a much clearer estimate. The range still goes from significantly less than other companies' minimum to significantly more than other companies' maximum, but it seemed clear and upfront. But it took telling them I was taking my business elsewhere due to their quoting process before I received that contact. Original review: They might do good work - I don't know - but I don't like their quoting process at all. I requested a quote for dryer vent cleaning. I received a quote for a $49 "flat rate," with a bunch of stuff about how they were going to inspect my whole house. So I wrote back asking whether the $49 was for dryer vent cleaning or the inspection. They wrote back that right now they are doing free inspections, but didn't answer what the $49 was for. I asked again and was told that is their normal inspection fee. Still no quote for a dryer vent cleaning. So I asked again for a quote for dryer vent cleaning. They then sent me a quote for a "basic annual cleaning" that was considerably lower than the other quotes I have been getting. I never said anything about how long it had been since my vents were cleaned or how my house is constructed, so it seemed strange that they would be quoting with those assumptions. I started reading reviews and one of the first ones said they quoted low and then said the vents needed a "deep cleaning" at a much higher cost (higher than the other quotes I have received) once they got there. Which is what I was starting to suspect based on how they were answering. Most other companies have given me a range of costs and have been open about the cost varying within that range based on difficulty - which I find reasonable. I have given up on getting an open, honest quote from this company. On the plus side, their responses were almost immediate and professional, so if you can get a straight answer on a quote I don't know of any reason not to do business with them. read more

Called for routine chimney inspection and cleaning and everything looked great. They were able to check inside and on the roof and noted a small rust area on top and recommended a cap be installed to prevent future damage due to weather. They sent an estimate right away that we will be wanting to install in the future. Chimney was cleaned thoroughly and they even took time to place tarp out to prevent any mess to our living room! They also did much needed dryer vent cleaning that was a potential fire hazard and got it all deep cleaned out and showed me what they were able to pull out. The good news. They fixed my fireplace and the men were professional and friendly, no issue with them at all. Bad news is everything else. I was scheduled between 1 and 4. At 2:00 they called and said between 2:30 - 4:30. At 4:30 I called them and they said 5:15. They finally arrived after 6:00. They were in the house approximately 20 minutes of which 10 minutes was waiting for a cost on the part. Biggest issue was cost. They left the old part and I looked it up on the company's website; it cost $132. My bill was over $800. They listed $775 for the part; a 587% markup which I consider completely unreasonable. A fair profit is expected but this wasn't that. I was gouged. Twenty minutes and a $132 part cost over $800. I sent an email to the company to discuss this and no response. They did a good job on the job itself but I would advise extreme caution with the pricing and scheduling. read more

We had a water leak coming out of our mantle when it rains. Mike and his crew came out and found a crack in our chimney topper as well as flashing that had come loose. I guess my husband and I should have went with our gut when we wondered if there was something off about their offers to fix it and their "discounted" price despite several upsell attempts. They get two stars for at least being quick and responsive however, the work left our home a mess including debris all over each room that they did not clean and finger prints on the ceilings. When we initially complained, they said they would make it right and continued to promise to come back the next day and the next and then proceeded to never show up or respond. The last straw was when we just had our AC inspected just 3 months after their guaranteed cleaning only to be told the ducting is still pretty dirty. This work was not cheap though the quality definitely did not match the price. It is very frustrating be out of a few grand and have very little to show for it. We have learned our lesson. read more
