The service is also impeccable. "The Veranda bar" doesn't open till around noonish however, the coffee shop/French Cafe inside opens at 6:00 am, so you can still sit out front on the Veranda, but the bar & lite menu is just not open/available till after noon. The Open air Veranda menu is lite bites. Moi fave lite dish here is the "Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna Tataki" with Jalapeño, Orange, Pickled Red Onion, with White Soy Ponzu. Fabulous. The sweet spicy combo of the jalapeño-orange makes it. A must order. The Truffle french fries with garlic aioli is also spectacular OuiOui. Goes great with their champagne by the glass. I also enjoy a unsweet iced tea with lemon when it's the hottest part of the day or a white wine spritzer. They also make fabulous cocktails, mocktails & have a lovely wine/champagne list. Something for everyone. Always "la vie en rose" on The Veranda. Added to moi list of fave places in St. Petersburg. Highest Reccomendations.

On the card though it's only said parasol however we confirmed with both the Spa and the hostess that we could use it at Paul's Landing. The one downside came when it was time to check out our waitress needed a manager to be able to use our credit and it ended up taking a very long time until we were able to get our checks. This place is beautiful and quite large inside. If you sit outside, you have a nice view of the water. We sat inside just because it was so hot. I got the lobster roll with a side of fruit. The fruit is actually really good, not your standard mixed fruit. This one had mangoes, dragon, fruit, blueberries, pineapple. It was absolutely delicious. The lobster roll is very good too and had a lot of lobster. I actually felt like it was a steal for only $25. I tried my friend's sweet potato wedges and they were delicious as well. I was really impressed with the food here. I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you're at the Vinoy. The decor is bright and cheery and other than the wait time at the end of our meal, we had a great experience here.

Monday-Friday is one menu and the weekend has a buffet and smaller menu. Friday, we had the Avocado Toast and Vinoy Benedict with fresh squeezed orange juice. Our waiter, Michael was prompt and friendly. Both dishes were excellent. The toast had an interesting crunchy topping (although the egg added on the side was barely warm). The Benedict came with a huge crab cake, very fresh and excellent texture. The poached egg cooked perfectly (no slimy egg white). It didn't come with sides; potatoes would have been nice. Saturday, we were surprised to see a buffet, but happy to hear it was included (a chance to try more items). The spread isn't huge, but the quality is exceptional. Bagels were fresh, pastries typical. Fruit was flavorful, granola was house-made and very good. The citrus yogurt was absolutely delicious! Scrambled eggs not overcooked and not runny. The smashed potatoes were great, too. The French toast didn't wow us and we were glad we hadn't ordered that the day before. But they have little bottles of real maple syrup to go with it. Bonus points! We were at get Marriott Marquis in NYC a week ago and people had raved about it being the best M Club in the nation. The breakfast buffet was expensive but mediocre. It was the perfect example of how you can have a large selection and nothing tastes good. Paul's Landing could teach them a few tricks.

The interior is elegant and exactly what you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. The appetizers were outstanding! Do yourself a favor and order the pork belly! It was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The mushroom pasta ended up being our favorite dish of the night and was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff provided excellent wine pairing recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly. While the cocktails didn't quite hit the mark for us, the wine selection more than made up for it. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dining experience and would definitely return.

The restaurant is across from the park downtown and has tons of seating both indoor and outdoor. The restaurant was more upscale than I initially assumed, so while I was fine in my shorts and swimsuit cover up, this is definitely a place that would have been great to get a little dressed up or more put together and have a nice sit down. Again though, I was not dressed up and was just fine so don't let your outfit stop you from trying this place! The service was amazing. Our waiter was attentive, gave us great recommendations and was attentive from start to finish. The food was INCREDIBLE. The french toast is a must. They are french toast cubes that are flash friend and have berries and a cream on top. Oh my god, this is easily the best french toast I have ever had. Our other dishes, the crab cakes benedict and the biscuits and gravy benedict were also amazing! Crab cake bennys are always my go-to and this one was super fresh and very crabby and the eggs for poached perfectly. My husband spoke super highly of the biscuits and gravy as well. Overall, this is a must try in St. Petersburg if you are looking for a brunch spot!

Seating is first come first served and seat yourself. We were greeted right away and our server quickly took our order. Once we got our food, we never were quality checked and drinks weren't refilled. Not sure where our server disappeared to? Food was surprisingly good! We got an order of wings, ceviche, a smash burger, and mahi tacos. The wings were so crispy and delicious that we didn't even use any of the buffalo sauce or ranch that we ordered on the side. Highly recommend! The tacos and burger were both on point. Our only complaint was that the ceviche was super fresh and refreshing, but the knife cuts were terrible so we'd end up with large pieces of fish just kind of stuck together not fully cut apart which was a little unappetizing. All in all, we had a great experience!

The first time I came, I brought my rollerblades and decided to get in a workout by skating all the way to the end of the pier. I even stopped at the coffee shop on the first floor afterward for a well-earned caffeine fix. Since I was there at the crack of dawn, the upstairs wasn't open yet. This visit was a completely different experience. The four of us made the long walk to the top floor restaurant, grabbed a high-top table, and enjoyed the incredible waterfront views. We ordered some fun, over-the-top cocktails, snapped plenty of pictures, and spent the afternoon soaking in the atmosphere. Between the beautiful views, creative drinks, and great company, we had an absolute blast. Whether you're looking for an early morning workout or a relaxing afternoon with cocktails, this pier is worth the visit every time.

Truly Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Red Thread…read more Our dinner at Red Thread was nothing short of spectacular -- a five-star experience from the moment we stepped through the door until the final sip of our after-dinner drink. We visited to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the team not only met but exceeded every expectation, weaving subtle, thoughtful surprises into the evening that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere is opulent yet completely approachable -- warm, intimate, and alive with cultural richness. You can feel the intention behind every detail: the plush banquettes adorned with intricately embroidered throw pillows, the soft glow of lantern-style lighting, and the perfectly placed gold-tipped cocktail picks that make even the smallest moment feel curated. It's elegant without pretense, like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret along the Silk Road. Service was led by Katie and Elijah, who were nothing short of exceptional. Their warmth, precision, and deep knowledge of both the menu and the restaurant's rich aesthetic elevated the entire evening. They guided us with confidence, shared stories behind the dishes, and ensured every need was met before we even voiced it. Now, the food -- where do we begin? Red Thread delivers flavors that are bold, layered, and deeply authentic. We started with the spread and small bites platter, and it was immediately clear we were in for something extraordinary. The tabbouleh was bright and herb-forward, with finely chopped parsley, tomato, and bulgur kissed by lemon -- a perfect balance of freshness and zing. The falafel were golden-crisp on the outside, tender within, and served with a bright mint yogurt. So delish! For our mains: the salmon, seasoned with fragrant za'atar and resting atop creamy spanakorizo (spinach and rice), was cooked to buttery perfection. The addition of crumbled feta and a cooling lemon yogurt sauce brought a bright, tangy contrast that elevated every bite. The pork chop, served with tri-color potatoes and glazed in a rich port beurre rouge with rosemary and a whisper of parmesan, was magnificent -- juicy, deeply savory, and beautifully seared. And the beef short rib? Unbelievably tender, with a warm curry base, sweet-spicy melon kimchi, and saffron rice that perfumed the air. The cardamom chèvre melted into the mix, adding a creamy, floral depth that was nothing short of inspired. Every dish told a story -- of distant lands, ancient trade routes, and a chef who clearly treats spice like sacred heirloom. To know these flavors are crafted with spices imported directly from the regions that inspired them explains the unmatched authenticity in every bite. Red Thread stands alone in St. Petersburg -- not just in flavor, but in feeling. We'll be back -- no question -- to explore their brunch and dive deeper into this beautiful narrative they've created on a plate. To everyone reading: This is the kind of restaurant that deserves to be discovered, celebrated, and filled to capacity every single night. Go. Taste. Feel. Red Thread isn't just dinner -- it's a journey. And it's not to be missed.
