Great matcha & super friendly service! Can always depend on green times for a delicious & consistent matcha, no matter what the flavor. They don't have a storefront right now, but are at many pop-ups, so definitely check out their socials to catch them next!

Green Times Matcha is one of my favorite matcha popups! You can check their instagram or Fishcake's Instagram to see when they're popped up. Every aspect of the drink is optimized: Their strawberry syrup is sweet, their matcha is strong, and their cream top is delicious as well.

Tried the Earl Grey Matcha at MIH. Fast and friendly service. I liked how the earl grey was not just the cream top but was incorporated into the matcha. However, the earl grey overpowered the matcha and the drink was on the sweeter side (too sweet for me). You sadly cannot adjust the sweetness. If you like a sweeter matcha with lots of drink combos, you would enjoy this! Additionally, the menu doesn't show the prices so you don't know it until you order, my drink was $12

The earl grey matcha here is amazing! The staff is also super friendly and made sure my matcha was sweet enough for me. Their stall is also super cute and the artwork isn't AI like most of the other stalls which makes them stand out a lot!

Went on a whim to try Green Times at the Taste of Aloha market. I have never seen a review or any "viral" video prior so I had absolutely no expectations when ordering. I am grateful that I did because they have easily become my favorite and I have been following them ever since. Matcha is very creamy, sweet, with umami notes and a hint of saltiness. As someone who works on the weekend and can't make it to many markets, I appreciate that she's at multiple events on various days and posts the schedule a month in advanced.

Thank you my Yelp friend Irene M. for introducing me to the Matcha Festival at Fishcake and Green Times Matcha. M What a matcha event! I'm just starting to enjoy matcha. Yelp buddy extraordinaire Irene is the matcha expert to ask about matcha! I enjoyed a matcha strawberry drink from Green Times Matcha and the drink was smooth and refreshing with a delicious blend of matcha and strawberry puree. I ordered it less sweet as I wanted to enjoy the matcha flavor. It's served beautifully topped with strawberries. The service at Green Times Matcha was fantastic! We even received a free banana bread and a Christmas ducky as an early bird treat. The mood and ambiance was festive and full of energy here! It was a very successful event and the lines here continued through the evening. I wanted to try the ttekbokki with sausage but the line was sooo long! Next time.

Locations listed on their IG account this is a Must Find Pop-up With so many matcha pop ups in town it takes a little extra something to blow the rest out of the water and Green Times does just that. One thing that sets them apart is the attention and care that goes into each cup. Jinny the main barista is knowledgeable and takes pride on whisking the matcha to order and gets the perfect foam. I like their creative drinks with the Earl Gray matcha as my favorite, the classic strawberry comes with a strawberry foam and the cookie butter comes with a biscoff cookie. Each cup is thoughtfully made and served with the perfect balance of the matcha umami. Green times is a place that turns a simple matcha stop to something I look forward to and I will keep chasing them to their next pop up.

    Double Matcha w/ Maple

I'm being serious when I say that Green Times Matcha is the best Matcha Latte I've ever had on Oahu... or ever really. Jinny and her crew is a participating vendor at many events across the island. I first met them at the Miffy x Matcha event hosted by Makia Market, and loved them so much, that I went to their stall once again at the Matcha Festival just two weeks later! My all-time favorite drink from them is the Earl Grey Matcha. It is literally the perfect blend, where the fragrance of the earl grey really complements the matcha. The drizzle of matcha cream top is also fantastic and provides that bit of extra creaminess to really elevate the drink. I can't recommend this one enough! I also tried their Double Matcha with Maple, which was also good! The maple flavor didn't overpower the matcha. I would just be careful if you're sensitive to caffeine, this one definitely made my heart race. Despite the long line everytime, it was well worth the wait. Plus, all the drinks were made fast so I didn't feel like I waited very long.

@fortunefoodfinds: "Good TIMES celebrating National Matcha Day today! A Banana Cream n' a Strawberry Matcha Latte from GREEN TIMES MATCHA who are currently popped up at the Waterfront Plaza in Kaka'ako. This was the perfect way to start our Saturday, during the first weekend in May!" SERVICE: fast n' friendly INTERIOR: n/a EXTERIOR: pop up at the Waterfront Plaza for a craft fair WAIT TIME: came right after they opened so no line, 5 mins between placing order to receiving drinks PARKING: garage, paid $3 OVERALL COMMENTS: finally got the chance to visit Green Times Matcha on National Matcha Day. Menu is simple, which is great if you're an indecisive person like me hehe. The Banana Cream is definitely a best seller. Took my first sip n' loved it. Every sip after that was consistent in sweetness n' smoothness. Really liked the color shade of the matcha, which means they don't skip out on the amount of matcha used. The Strawberry had the same good quality n' matcha consistency. Although the strawberries were more on the tart side, I understand the batch of strawberries used may not have been fully ripened. Other than that, I'm so glad I got to try them out n' look forward to visiting one of their future pop ups again! Thanks

I stopped by CU Downtown - matcha pop-up today and tried the Banana Cream Latte with oat milk. It was super creamy, rich, and really satisfying. I definitely enjoyed it, but at $10, it's a little hard to justify buying it regularly. Overall, I'm glad I tried it :)

How matcha nice... To find Green Times Matcha now at Fishcake on Thursdays from 11am to 3pm and I couldn't be more thrilled and it seems like they planted roots here for just a short time I'm already FALLing for their menu items which is all about Matcha. All are lattes with some familiar flavors like Strawberry, Ube Condensed and Coconut Cloud but there were couple unique choices of Earl Grey, Agave or what I got is "Pumpkin Spice". I'm not a huge fan of the pumpkin spice itself but just couldn't resist giving seasonal flavors a try which I always do and gosh I'm so happy I did, for an additional $1 you can sub for Oat or Soy milk which I did and though it contains dairy cold foam is included on all drinks. The Pumpkin Spice is not just that but pumpkin as well as recommended to stir your drink to fully enjoy but I took a sip of the pumpkin syrup on the bottom first and was so happy that it included pumpkin as well...it tasted like pie! Drinks are hand whisked and what a work of art it is though the cold foam is yummy not a fan of the salted flavor but it was nice and fluffy so stunning and beautiful. The staff is a delight as you're able to control your sweetness level from 25% to 125% which I kept it light and they also have Kimbap, cookies and Korean Fishcake as well to make it a complete treat. I just want to try everything on the menu and am so excited that I'm easily able to find them here and hope that come up with more creative flavors that has me craving for more. Thank you!

Green Times Matcha was one of the matcha vendors at the 2026 Hawaii Matcha Fest. They had a long line, and I heard great things about it so me and my boyfriend stood in line. We ordered 1 agave matcha and 1 strawberry cream matcha. Once our order was called, I noticed that our agave matcha was filled less than the other orders beside it (by almost an inch less). Not a problem. They were busy, and these things happen! However, our strawberry cream matcha did not have any strawberry puree on the bottom or the garnishes on top (see picture for advertised). I let the worker know about this, who directed me to the owner. The owner told me that she could just add the strawberry puree on the top and that's the only difference between what I received. However, given that the drink cost $10 and that the standard way to enjoy it is to stir in the strawberry puree at the bottom before drinking through a straw so you get both the matcha and strawberry flavors, I sheepishly asked if she could remake it. Unfortunately she seemed a bit annoyed by my request before taking the drink and remaking it. I respect Green Times Matcha and their team for working so hard in the outdoors. Their matcha is delicious too! However, I felt a bit taken aback by the owner's reaction, plus the portion inconsistency with our agave matcha. Just my two cents, and all the best to this small business! Mahalo!

BEST Matcha!! I've tried all the flavors and my top favorite is their Agave Matcha (less sweet). It was worth the wait! Happy 1 Year Green Times Matcha! So proud of the young owner

A Cozy Cafe with Friendly Staff, but the Coconut Latte Missed the Mark…read more I stopped by Bluetree Cafe in Kakaʻako around 3 PM with my cat, and the staff were genuinely friendly. They all came over to say hi to my cat, which was such a sweet and welcoming touch. The cafe itself is very cozy and beautifully decorated, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I actually came specifically for the coconut latte after seeing it in their Yelp photos. Unfortunately, the drink was quite disappointing. There was a fairly long wait - around 8 - 10 minutes for one cup. It seemed like one of the baristas was new and another staff member was teaching her, so I completely understood the delay. But when I finally received the drink, it didn't taste anything like the coconut latte I was expecting and it's the most expensive one though. I've probably had couple of hundreds coconut lattes, so I have a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. I asked the barista if she might have accidentally made a regular latte instead of a coconut latte, and she assured me, "Yes, it's a coconut latte." I took several sips, but honestly, it tasted more like a cold brew to me. Since I had my cat with me and the AC inside was also quite strong, I eventually went outside and just enjoyed hanging out with my cat instead. I really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere and staff were so nice. If the coconut latte had been made correctly - or tasted more like the coconut latte shown in their photos - I would definitely consider coming back. For now, though, I'm not sure I would make a special trip back just for the drink. I hope they improve the consistency because the cafe has a lot of potential.

Super late review -…read more I'm sad. I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't. I don't want to be that person when this place has an overall rating of 4.5 but this is just my honest opinion. I got the blue dream and yes it was very ascetically pleasing, but it was just too icy. Before coming to this place i read a couple of reviews that also said the same thing and i didn't understand what that meant, but now I do. There are a lot of flavorless, just regular, small shards of ice in the bowl. On top of that, the moment I received my bowl, it was already borderline melted. So that got me thinking, how can it be melted and icy at the same time? The only explanation that I can think of is just ice additive/fillers. It's not pure cold acai or whatever is in the bowl you choose, but there's a mixture of ice in it too. Yes I understand, it's Waikiki, everything is more expensive, but the added topping prices on top of the already expensive bowl prices just don't make sense. You want a beautiful looking bowl with a lot of different toppings, yet some toppings can go up to 1 dollar PER topping. I don't know if I've just been spoiled by a couple places in SoCal, but at those places they have unlimited toppings and those bowls are the best that there is. I'm not bringing any bias from other locations, but this is just an honest review based on my experience today.
