Green Turf was referred to me by my neighbor.  He and I have worked together on other various yard improvement plans and since he carefully looks into company's he hires, I took advantage of his recommendation.  The workers are their employees, they do not outsource. When we first started planning, I wasn't sure how I wanted to proceed regarding what type of a patio I wanted and how I wanted the turf to be placed.  Jose worked with me and gave me some good ideas.  There was no rush or pressure and we took our time to make sure the plans were to my liking. When they started the job, the workers arrived on time everyday and they clearly knew what they were doing.  Since I am retired, I watched a lot.  They worked hard even though the days were quite warm, and yes, I gave them water and Gatorade. As they did the job, there were a few details I questioned about and I requested adjustments.  They handled these easily and quickly. When they were about finished, they handled the clean-up very well and even took care of a few things that were not planned. The whole job took about 10 days to complete.  During a final inspection, there were a couple more adjustments needed so they handled those as well. I am very satisfied with the patio floor as well as the astroturf. I will use Green Turf for my future needs.

Requested a spec sheet of the turfs to pick from and ran the one I liked through AI to see how good it was and it came back better graded than the ones offered by other installers I was talking to. 2. Quoting happened right afterwards and the price came in competitive so I signed. Scheduling of the work was swift and I was able to get on their docket within 1-2 weeks. 3. Day of - guys came on-time and got to work immediately. They demoed it all within a short 30-45 mins. Then waited for the turf to get delivered and spent a good hour treating the turf and preparing it to be laid down. Then the base materials came and crushed it as I had expected with a plate compactor. BUYER BEWARE. This company is not what it appears to be. I…read moream quite certain that it is actually a company that publicly ONLY advertises and markets services. It actually does NONE of the work. The work is done, as far as I can tell, COMPLETELY by subcontractors. My initial experience was with Rich, a very friendly and smooth talking sales person who represented himself as an owner of Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape. He referred to his crews and foremen. Only later did I learn that they were actually crews from companies that were subcontracted out. I never received a formal written estimate from the Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape, or even a final written receipt upon payment. OK, that's for the highly deceptive side of the business. The job I hired them for was hardscape and concrete stain and sealing. It took three months to complete about four days of actual work. Every time Rich gave me a start time for "his men", something ultimately pushed it back another week or so. It's obvious now why, it wasn't even his company doing the work. In fact, I think I physically saw Rich a total of two or three times including the initial meeting. Material orders were not placed timely, when items were back ordered from one supplier, there was no attempt to locate the materials elsewhere. Coordination was haphazard and details were constantly slipping through the cracks. Thinking that Rich from Eco Turf/ Pavers - Hardscape- was the company actually doing the work, all I kept getting were excuses and more bullshit. After three months of total frustration, I was told that I could make my actual payment to the company that was finishing the work that day, as a convenience to me! Beyond my dissatisfaction with the job was the fact that I had been experiencing such highly misleading and deceptive communication xfrom the beginning. Not only does this company NOT deserve a solid review, it doesn't deserve the public trust. Look elsewhere.

Aaron was our sales contact, and he answered all my questions before I signed which made us feel good about using them and had some good suggestions. Their model of doing whatever we need and mixing with what other contractors we use is great; we for example purchased a quartzite slab for the kitchen and Rock N Block did the rest. The prices were very reasonable as well, and looking at the end product I think it was a great deal. The rest of the team, Alexis and Jose, did a great job keeping us updated and keeping our property clean. I'm not sure who the guys were that did the counter build, I think it was someone and his two adult kids, but they did an incredible job and it seemed like they took the time to do quality work. The rest of the project ran into some difficulty with the electrical hookup and gas move, but Jose still got the work done on time and worked well with our countertop fabricator to coordinate what they needed and when to install Overall went really well and would recommend them for any sort of hardscape project.
