Went from BF at Greene's now that they have opened at an earlier hour. Atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. I had the avocado toast. I chose to have it on rye bread. Because this was breakfast I expected that it would come with an egg and was surprised that it didn't. You had to pay $2 to get an egg added to an already quite expensive avocado toast. I chose to have two over medium eggs added because after all I was having breakfast. It was really good. My husband had the breakfast tacos. He really enjoyed them. They were a little large and could have been split into three instead of two. Again because it's kind of spendy it would seem like there would be three anyways. We both had mimosas with fresh squeezed juice and they were amazing. The food was really good just a little spendy with a tweaker too, like the addition of an egg or an additional tortilla to split up the tacos I could see giving them 5 stars. read more

Interesting concept and great spot for music, games, beer and some awesome pizza. I've been to Greene's for a marvelous Irish folk music night, and to play games with friends. Both times, I've appreciated how the space adapts to the needs of the event. I tried their fried pickles and macaroni bites last time...YUM! Definitely great for beer lovers, but plenty of options for wine/cider. They have a private parking lot to the side of the building that helps with crazy James St parking. read more

This is the most hidden gem in Bellingham! It's my go to spot for breakfast and lunch. The food is unique and out of this world! It's rarely packed and there's a lot of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. I almost didn't want to write a review because I wanted it to be my little secret, but I also want to support them as much as possible so they stay :) My favorites are the huevos rancheros, rueben sandwhich, and I just tried their pork tacos - to die for! They have a huge selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. In fact, I tried their kombucha on tap and as soon as my mom tasted it, she went back and ordered one for herself. Moved here from CT 3 years ago and this is the best pizza spot I've found after searching high and low. We come from the best pizza in the country along the CT/NY corridor and sorry northwesterners, but you don't know Italian food/pizza. Greene's corner on the other hand, has been my savior for having a taste of home on the other coast. This pizza slaps, at least it's waaaaaay better than anywhere else we've found North of Seattle (Brooklyn Bros is a close second). This place is the bees knees! For me it is perfect, because I am just two blocks away and I can order delicious food and can select from a wide variety of drinks on tap plus a vast bottled section. I first came here about two weeks ago and I was blown away by the quality of food and the portion size. A slice of pizza is really two slices!! I also love the plentiful options from the food menu. The fries I got with my fish and chips were green and when I went to complain the chef came out and said "do you know anything about potatoes". Been eating and drinking here since their 2nd day in operation and it is a Sunnyland institution! There are so many menu items that we love, but our favorites are always something on the special board. Get those while they last because you can't be sure they'll be there again. Yes, the prices are higher than what you would normally expect for something you order at a counter. Go next door if you'd like you food prepped by Sysco and save a few bucks. But everything here is made from scratch and the price is worth it. You're not paying for something that is frozen and reheated. The thin crust pizza is amazing and the special slices are always something to look forward to for seasonal ingredients. Greene's is a part of our lives and part of our traditions. Every.Christmas.Eve since they have opened has involved a Breakfast 'Za. Nights when we don't want to cook, Greene's has got us covered! It takes a little longer, but it is made with love and an incredible attention to the ingredients that go into it. We have had some epic sandwiches/pizza/breakfast items that always hit the spot. And if you're in need of some bottled or canned beer, they have you covered. Missed out on a seasonal special, they probably have it? And odds are they'll have some decent ones to add to the library that have sold out in other beer stores. And there might be a little premium on that beer, but scoring a properly aged vintage beer is a nice way to complement your excellent dinner. I'm not one to write reviews, but after getting four new items to share with the family tonight off the chalk board, there wasn't a disappointed belly in the family, including two children. Do yourself a favor and take a little extra time and spend a little extra to get something worth it. Went here on a rainy afternoon and it was nice and cozy inside. It was the perfect place because my brother and sister in law are carnivores and I'm a vegan so Greene's corner had accommodations for everyone! They had pulled pork sandwiches and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. I had a vegan bahn mi and a cup of vegan chili! The menu had plenty of selections and the beer fridges were stocked with great selections. The portions were huge and everything I had was delicious I will definitely be coming back. My guests also said their food was yummy. Another bonus here is they have their own parking lot!-- since parking in that area can be difficult. read more

2nd UPDATE: We finally went to check out their new space and we enjoyed it! It's definitely nice having them closer to home. We ordered our usual (Ruby's Cheese) and it was very good. I still find their prices a bit steep, considering that you have to order at the counter and bus your own table; the BEST pizza place EVER IN LIFE (Star Tavern in Orange, NJ) charges $12 bucks for their regular cheese pizza, compared to $23.65 at Greene's (and the Star blows them out of water, sorry). They also charge a "corkage fee" on the beers in their case, just FYI. The service was also quite slow and it took a lot longer than necessary, in my opinion, for the food to arrive; odd, since we were the only table in the place at the time. But we're digging the new space and we still think this is one of the best places in the 'Ham for "east coast style" pizza. UPDATE: After dining at Greene's Corner on Father's Day, I had to take away one star from my earlier review. There was literally no one in the place except our party of 7. We ordered two large Ruby's cheese pizzas and an Al Pacino. The first cheese came out and the crust was black and burnt to Hell. The bottom wasn't too bad, so we kept it, but it was quite dry from being overcooked. Then the second cheese pizza came out; the entire bottom of the pizza was black. I'm not exaggerating. Generally, I hate to send things back, but this was bad. Very bad. So back it went. It's amazing to me that someone would clearly overcook, not one, but two pizzas, and send them out looking like that. Especially for what they charge, and also, we were the only table in the place! The Al Pacino was okay, but like others have said, it was super soggy. It's just a shame, because we really thought we found THE PLACE for east coast-style pizza in town; it looks like we were wrong. Once a restaurant lacks consistency, we have a very hard time going back. :( ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was our first time trying the pizza from Greene's Corner. As pizza connoisseurs, we were pleasantly surprised! Being born and raised in northern New Jersey, we know a good pizza just by looking at it. And we are picky, let me tell you. We've tried all the "east coast style" pizza joints in these parts and most of those places should be banned from using that label. But Greene's does a stellar job! We're into the classics, so we ordered an 18" Ruby's Cheese. It's a little pricey, but, if you're from the east coast, it's hard to find a good pizza around here; so for us, it's worth the cost. The crust was nearing perfection. Could have been a bit crispier, but overall the thinness is spot on. The amount of cheese to sauce was nicely done. And the amount of crust around the edge was the perfect amount. Our only complaint, which is why we're giving 4 stars as opposed to 5, was the fact that there was WAY TOO MUCH pepper. We're assuming it was in the sauce, but our mouths were on fire when we were done eating. We're hoping this was a one off, and the cook just had a heavy hand with the pepper that day. A pizza should NOT burn your mouth with seasoning. Other than that, a job well-done and we'll be back! read more

I have been here several times and I have nothing but great things to say. We came on Mother's day for brunch and they only have two items. I got the biscuits and gravy and they rival Skylark's for having the best in town. My eggs were slightly over cooked. They did offer to remake them, but they were still tasty. I don't know why this place wasn't full. They have a ton of beers on tap and several in bottles to choose from. I like to think of it as a smaller version of Elizabeth Station, but with food. The pizzas are also very tasty. We took one home and ate it for dinner. Yum! We came back again this week for a couple beers. Again, the selection is wonderful and the staff is always very friendly.
