My hubby isn't a salad guy, but he has loved the salads he's tried so far (Tri Tip Salad, Cajun Chicken salad and Cobb salad). Wedding flare complete with great food! Everyone spoke about how great the food was and refreshing not to have the usual "wedding" food! Trip tip salad, ceasar salad all the fixings, rolls, butter and Alfredo Parmesan with penne noodles, Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms(to die for!), Alfredo with tri-tip so so good and included cutlery napkins and plates! This was the most satisfying deluxe tuna sandwich I have had in such a long time. I used to live in LA, and the quality of food I've found in the AV has been extremely lacking mostly, but this restaurant has it down. The taste was delightful and the portion size was humongous. I was able to eat this meal for both lunch and dinner. The ingredients were fresh, and the textures and flavor were complex and seasoned perfectly. I've been eating here for 20+ years. The food is great and very original. Love the salads, pastas, and sandwiches.

First visit, not sure what to expect. We started by ordering a single "value combo" of a small specialty salad and a bowl of soup, just so that we could both sample more than the entrée . The salad was mandarin with extra dressing, and the soup was the clam chowder. The salad wasn't bad and Mr. Picky quite liked it. As to the chowder, we were both underwhelmed. At the bottom of the menu was a notation that for $4.55 extra you could get a double portion of the pasta dishes. We were curious about that and decided to do it next visit if we liked the food. Mr. Picky ordered the three cheese ravioli in blush sauce, while I went for the Italian sausage and peppers with request for both their red sauce and Alfredo on it. I figured that would be a great flavor combo. I watched Mr. picky take his first bite, and he made a good humming sound and then said, "I like this!" I tasted it, and definitely agreed, so I would probably order that next time instead of my sausage and peppers, although that wasn't bad. They don't make the desserts themselves but the flat single carrot CAKE wasn't bad. We haven't made our minds up yet about dessert there as we only tried the one item. Overall, 3.5 stars, but rounding up as Mr. Picky liked his pasta and he's a very nice guy to be around when his tummy is happy. read more

We arrived and was greeted by a young gal. We placed our order and she didn't pay attention to what I asked for and she charged me $51 and some change. I thought to myself, how expensive our total came out. I asked the young lady for an itemized receipt and she says: I made a mistake and charged you an extra dollar. I became upset. And no longer wanted her to help me. An older lady came to assist with the refund transaction and recharged me correctly for $30 plus dollars. She apologized and I was so happy that she stepped right in and changed my whole entire mood of wanting to leave due to this girl's mistake. This very same woman took all 4 of my drinks to our table and ensure we were comfortable and apologized for the transaction earlier. Thank you dear and I'm sorry I didn't get your name. After we sat down, we were greeted by our waitress Sylvia who was phenomenal with her service. She served us and made sure we were good by checking on us periodically. THANK YOU Sylvia! I'm so sad to feel like this place has really gone downhill. Had lunch there today and had a roast beef sandwich and it was just not good. Nothing to be remembered by, no pizzazz nothing special just chewy roast beef and a too fat tomato slice that didn't even cover the whole sandwich. I also had to break apart the lettuce and discard the thick spine part of the lettuce leaf. Nobody wants to crunch on the spine. They don't take care in their food prep anymore. I ate there a couple months ago and their breakfast came cold and their syrup even colder... Give a little special thought and warm your syrup up for your customers! read more

Went back to satisfy that insatiable craving and would't you know it? It was awful. The sandwich was cold. The cheeses were not fully melted (even worse on my partner's sandwich because he ordered the same thing at my urging) and the bread was not completely grilled. I am so so disappointed. I loved going to the Green House Cafe in Santa Clarita but they closed many years ago. I was happy to find out there was a second location in Palmdale. We sat at a table next to the window and there was 3 dead flies on the windowsill. The floors were dirty as well. It just had a dirty vibe throughout. The French onion soup was cold and had a thick unmelted piece of cheese at the bottom instead of melted/browned cheese on top. I also got the forcatta chicken sandwich. I had to spit tendon out while I was at the table. My husband got a shrimp pasta. Also awful. No flavor. We ordered my son spaghetti and meatballs. They were actually turkey meatballs and I am pretty sure they were premade frozen meatballs from costco or something. I am also sure they used Ragu for the sauce. Huge waste of time and gas. I have loved Greenhouse for years. I recently drove out to Lancaster just for their Tri-Tip Salad. I miss the Valencia location so much! The full-size salads here are crazy big and they are always super generous with the dressings and garlic toast. My other favorite items are the Cajun Chicken Salad (amazing sweet poppy dressing), and the spicy beef pasta with Angel hair. I would eat their salad every week if I could. read more

Although the cashier was a black young man he was OK just wasn't customer service material and I sat at a table with a window view but there were these annoying flies fly slowly by the window over my food and when I mentioned it he did nothing nor didn't refill my cup once but he did bring napkins. We really like this place and have been coming here for years. Their Salads are very good. Service ok ,Ambiance ok. The extra meeting room east side is not air conditioned well. Definitely an issue in the Summer. Also if ordering anything with hash browns just DON'T! You WILL be disappointed. I'm not even sure they actually contain potatoes. read more
