This is the kind of place where coffee isn't rushed it's celebrated. Today's cappuccino was textbook-perfect: velvety micro-foam with a silky, golden crema that held its own until the last sip. Paired with an impeccably flaky cornetto (crisp layers giving way to a buttery, barely sweet interior) and a still-warm chocolate muffin that practically melts on contact, it's clear the pastry case is filled with house-made love. The vibe strikes that rare balance: sophisticated without being stuffy, minimalist yet cozy. Soft morning light streams across the sleek counter, the baristas move with calm precision, and there's just enough ambient chatter to make you feel part of something special. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso at the bar like a local or lingering over a full breakfast spread, Cafe Sportivo nails the details that turn a simple coffee run into a genuine ritual. Easily one of the best café experiences in town, already planning my return tomorrow. Highly recommend for anyone who believes great coffee and perfect pastries are non-negotiable. #CafeSportivo #BestCappuccino #MorningRitual #LocalGem

The only downside is it is a little expensive. The meal pictured in other similar ones we have had with a plate of food is around $15 to $20. However, given the quality and what you would pay at a restaurant it is reasonable, just more than I would expect from a hot food bar. They do a great job with their coffees as well. The barista takes a lot of care in preparing each cup and makes sure the presentation is immaculate.

I tried peeling away the burnt layer, but even underneath it wasn't good. I brought it back to the counter, and they said they'd remake it "with less toasting," as if it were just a matter of preference. Less than two minutes later, they brought out a replacement. The croissant was still burnt--just slightly less--and the egg was ice cold. The place is currently under construction, which may be affecting the kitchen, but otherwise the vibe feels the same as it always has. Update: Before I left the employee noted I had not eaten the second sandwich, came over to see what was wrong with it and offered to make me something else, when I declined he issued a refund unprompted.

I tried a few pastries and loved how buttery, soft, and flavorful they were. If you're a bakery lover, this part alone makes the visit worthwhile. The desserts and pastries feel a bit upscale, and you can expect about a 15-20% price bump compared to similar cafés. The space itself is small, and it's really more of a grab‑and‑go spot than a place to sit and relax. There's no free tap water, so you're required to purchase bottled drinks, which may be a downside for some. The service was somewhat slow, though the staff was attentive once they engaged. However, the overall vibe wasn't very welcoming. A few long‑time customers seemed frustrated and even got up to complain after being ignored for a while, which was noticeable. Yummy pastries. Didn't see any stellar food. Our food was just average. We felt Café Brie on Atlantic had better food, but Chez has great pastries. Because of the limited seating, lack of water, and the uneven service experience, I'm not sure I'd choose to dine in. The drive‑thru or takeout might be the better option for enjoying their fresh baked goods without the wait.

Of course it started to rain right when we got there so the vibe just felt soggy and wet. They do have the tent you sit under and then plastic roll down that acted as walls so the wind will not bring the water in but to me it just looked a little and felt ghetto in my opinion. I wasn't expecting the ambiance to be this way but maybe when it's nice out it's better? I will tell you they have about 20 industrial fans (I think that's what the eyesores were) on the ground to keep air circulation and a mini Fly fan that sits on your table and at every table because like I said it's completely outside. (The kitchen and bathroom are inside.) Our server came attentive and knew to sell us right away on the cheese balls which were really good but comparable to Texas de Brazil. They have no paper menus you have to scan a QR code on your phone to look at the menu Covid style. Overall I was not impressed with the food I don't know if it because what I ordered or what but the scrambled eggs tasted like they were instant from McDonald's and so little chopped up no flavor I do not recommend the eggs at all, and the sausage was definitely grocery store bought jimmy dean! The bacon was good very very thin and crispy which is my preference and The pancakes were actually good and thin how I like but a lot of people like flap jacks style but I liked them. The waffles were dry with no flavor no butter was brought to the table for either. I didn't understand why they cut up the waffle and put it in a basket cause I literally had to take them out one by one and put them on my plate to eat it was kinda strange. The little strawberry and banana was fresh. The Mocha latte was HORRIBLE it was like drinking a tall glass of chocolate milk there was no coffee in there at all! Most expensive glass of milk I've ever bought in my life $9 My friend said the cappuccino was good but they added cinnamon on top which on the menu it doesn't say they do but they still did that anyway and he doesn't like cinnamon so that was terrible. Our bill came to $80 For two of the bulegreen combos, the 3 piece cheese bread, and two drinks (iced mocha and cappuccino) we each paid $50 which is expensive for breakfast and not a lot of food/not good quality food with no option to sit inside during weather events. I'll pass on this place but glad I got to see what the hype was about.

We ordered a latte, the Parma prosciutto, stracchino and fig spread croissant, and a ham and cheese quiche to share. The moment they pressed that croissant on the grill and served it warm, I knew we made the right choice. The buttery, flaky pastry with the salty prosciutto and sweet fig spread was one of those bites that makes you stop talking for a second just to appreciate it. The quiche was just as memorable, light, fluffy, packed with flavor, and somehow gone way too quickly. Sharing sounded like a good idea when we ordered, but halfway through I was already regretting it. Great coffee, delicious food, and the kind of place that makes you start planning your next visit before you've even paid the bill. The service is super friendly and the cafe is modern and super clean. Can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the bakery case.

The front patio was filled with patrons having their morning pastry and coffee discussing the booming stock market. The scent of fresh bread blasted through my nostrils and noticed several loaves of bread standing prominently at attention behind the cashier, hovering above the pastry display, as I ordered a Julius Meinl Austrian med-roast espresso. Loved the attention to detail with the presention of my espresso served in a miniature cup on a saucer along with a metal spoon and a heart shape sugar cookie which was a nice touch.
