Traveling for work from LA, a friend brought me here. On their recommendation i ordered the MORNING BERRIES. The flavor was great. It's like an açaí bowl but with oatmeal instead. I loved it. As I was eating I thought (as I do often) that what would make this BETTER would be to swap out the maple syrup for HONEY and the sweet of the honey is a bit sharper to the subtle dull sweet of the maple syrup. Second was the HOT JANE. I'm a spicy lover and this was def spicy. Do not recommend if you can't handle heat. It was a 6/10 for a guy who can handle the heat, so proceed with caution. As is, it was great. I had no thought of modifications at the time of tasting. The staff were really friendly and took compliments well and they seemed proud and that they take pride in their jobs. We had a short convo about the food sourcing and their mission statements. It was a bit cold outside the day we went (Jan) so the metal and concrete of the tables and floors made it seem even colder so I'd take it to go on a winter day and dine in during the spring/summer next time. First thing's first - this is definitely a takeaway spot - so plan to order and then find somewhere nearby to enjoy your order. Smoothies and juice can be easy, but, my experience here was not ideal. As soon as I entered, the staff just looked at me and didn't provide any welcome or invitation to come order. I reluctantly then walked to the counter, and spoke with the nice team who must have just been shy. They helped me order my smoothie/juice, which was well priced considering other locales. However, they do use a lot of ice. I would personally rate the smoothie/juice a 5/10, but, I could have ordered the wrong thing for me in hindsight. However, the vibes are off here. I was surprised to see how cluttered and dirty the interior space was, with most shelves empty, fridges bare, and items collecting dust everywhere. There were several promotions mentioned via signage with dates several months in the past. In my opinion, this is probably a more energetic and put-together space when the season for smoothies and juices is back between spring and fall, so this could have just been a one-time experience. However, that being said, I will not be returning. Sorry to say that, since the staff do seem nice, but, this was just too weird for a wellness-based place in a busy neighbourhood where things could be so much better for them. read more

Cute little spot with fresh juices. Location was right next to the gym that I went to, so I decided to try this place out. Variety of juices, smoothies, bowls and salads to choose from plus they even have a menu of add-ons (hemp seeds, chia seeds, almond butter, oats..). I got the Berry Fix and my boyfriend got the Sunnyside. The Berry Fix was delicious! All the ingredients were super fresh, and I could taste it in my smoothie. I tried the Sunnyside smoothie as well and it did not taste good. The ginger was way too overpowering, and I could not taste anything in the smoothie but the ginger. Solid spot to get some shots... and it's not a bar. haha. To wake you up I recommend the zen shot and the blue ginger if you want to try something new. I really enjoy how the shots come with a piece of fruit (strawberry and pineapple for the two above) to help wash the kick down. The shots here are quite large too so you can split with someone if you want to try different flavors. I also got the maca cacao and it was decent but I prefer Moberi's smoothie as it's thicker and has some cocoa nibs. It's not bad though if you want something a little more savory and with the cold brew kick. We ordered the green solution plus smoothie, got an elderberry açaí shot that had ginger, apple, elderberry, and açaí with a side of strawberries ( so cute and yummy), and an açaí bowl! We got the soma bowl that had blueberry, almond butter, orange juice, kale, and topped with granola, banana, cacao, coconut flakes, cashews, and maple and cinnamon! One thing we found interesting was that the açaí bowl had ice in it instead of being blended all the way -- not terrible but different than other açaí bowls we've had!
