    Walnut Chorizo Quesadilla
    Nishalina B.

Was very excited to try this place as it's vegan and gluten free! I 100% recommend the biscuits and gravy- it gives a thanksgiving feel. The flavor is great! The kale and veggies paired nicely. The only downfalls were the biscuits were to hard to cut with my fork. The inside of biscuit was soft but the outside was too hard; had to forcefully use my knife. The sweet potatoes were not soft, a bit crunchy. Unfortunately I did not like the walnut chorizo quesadilla. It was very messy to eat. Not sure if it was the cheese or sauce that was gritty, but I did not like the texture. Only had 2 bites of this dish. Nice ambiance. Customer service was ok.

I really had an overall great experience. After some time on this busy street, we stopped into Harlow to grab some food to go and I was happily excited to see the great options of seemingly plant based and focused vegan options, offering house made dishes. Me and my bestie got some chickpea tuna melt sandwiches with house made soup and a selection of fun different beverages offer in the fridges up front. The space / interior is beautiful with bright light peaking in, beautiful plants all around, big ceiling and unique features plus indoor and outdoor seating, some indoor being at the bar top. I'll look forward to eating there at some point and enjoyed the food we took to go. The sandwich was just a little more spiced than I'm used to and the soup was expected to be cream of potato but I think it was a misspeaks and as I said, I enjoyed the soup.

While visiting Portland, my girlfriend and I were both wanting a quick pick-me-up snack that was healthy so we decided to stop by here after walking by it. The interior is nice and seems like a great place to have a chat with a friend or get some work done. The Sea of Blue was underwhelming. I understand it's a health-focused place but it tasted like 3 blueberries were crushed in a cup of water. In my opinion, definitely not worth +$10. The cashier seemed disinterested and was not really friendly.

As always, the food here is great! I got the outlaw scramble which I found to be really tasty. The jackfruit was perfect for this dish. The portion size was very large which was nice, my party ended up just getting a couple dishes and sharing. I also tried the strawberry pancakes which were also good! I wish there were more smoothie options without banana. I ended up getting their monthly special Pride smoothie which I was pleased to see had the trans flag colors! I found the smoothie itself to be not very sweet (contrary to what the vibrant colors would imply). Overall, I had a very nice experience and I would go again (and again!).

I have been craving the Hawthorne mac with chili for so long now, finally had it again today! I should have asked for more kale with mine but totally forgot! Harlow is definitely my go to for vegan Mac n cheese! They have amazing selections for smoothies but that's worth a try! Always my go to for vegan option food if that's what you're going for! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I was looking for something clean and healthy that wouldn't weigh me down while exploring, so I stopped in and ordered a quinoa dish with veggies. Honestly, it's definitely more for the hardcore vegan or vegetarian crowd. It just wasn't for me. If I were into that style of food, I think I'd love it, but I was hoping for a bit more flavor. It didn't seem like there were any spices or even salt and pepper added, so it was pretty bland. The smoothie, on the other hand, was great and basically became my meal. I'd consider going back to try something different, but I wouldn't have high expectations next time.

Just stopped by to grab a quick juice to go with my husband and it was great! I got a carrot and beet juice (the rising) as well as a the sweet greens drink. The service was nice and the ambiance was light and pleasant. A nice spot for a fresh juice!

The food at Harlow is just simply delicious. They know how to do gluten-free and vegan so it tastes amazing. You don't have to be a vegan to love this food and I'm not vegan! I recommend the bowls, the tempeh, the detox smoothie. Lots of choices with lots of sides and additions so you can customize your food anyway you want. Really the only downside is that it's a bit expensive. I posted a picture of my detox smoothie which was $11 including the tip that the credit card machine prompts me to choose, and their own wellness fee they add to every order which I think was around 5%. So, major sticker shock here but it's food you can trust.

Food was yummy, if not a bit pricey. I suppose that's to be expected at a spot like this. The bowl I got was good, and I highly recommend trying the tahini dressing if you get a salad. Seating is plentiful. Food is delivered to the table, and you are obligated to bus your own table.

    Dry Bones Peanut Butter Cookie

Staff was lovely. I've had a golden latte before and it was good. I even like th cafe and location. Why so few stars? The cookies, like many other reviews. They're terrible. Dry and crumbly for both the peanut butter and the trail cookies. I understand the trail can be difficult, but even non-gluten free cafes can make a gluten free peanut butter cookie. I couldn't even finish it, and I refuse to waste food. At least after that cookie I don't need a colonoscopy for another five years, since the cookie definitely scrubbed my internals like a peanut butter brillo pad.

Pesto garden scramble with jackfruit and quinoa
    Tannu S.

Food is good, casual ambiance with no service. You order the food at the counter and then bus the table yourself. I enjoyed my jackfruit garden scramble in pesto. It reminded me of the jackfruit torta I love from another place. Food is good and a must try especially if you are vegan. However, because there is no cleaning, the tables are generally untidy from the food residue. I hope they add some cleaning at least. PS: They do have eggs in their menu, however, if you want just the whites, that is not an option, which seems ergonomic approach from the chef's perspective but I did find a person on the next table complaining about it.

Food here was amazing. I truly have no words for how good it is. My friends and i came here two days in a row. We all came from seattle and no vegan/vegetarian restaurant here could compare. Also if anyone if turned off by it being gluten free it truly is not even noticeable i didnt even realize until my second visit. Service is quick and its not too expensive. We def want to come back on future trips

I found Harlow through Yelp and I am so glad I did! I needed a break from the usual food options like pizza and burgers. I was looking for veggie filled goodness and that's exactly what I found at Harlow. I ordered the pesto garden scramble. It had quinoa, farm fresh eggs scrambled with seasonal vegetables, roasted yams, potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, & kale with a walnut basil pesto. I opted out of the roasted walnuts on top. The serving size was a lot larger than I expected. It is a splittable dish. I enjoyed all of the different flavors and textures in this bowl. The pesto was a great sauce for all of the veggies and eggs. I loved this bowl! I also ordered the flamango smoothie. It came with strawberry, mango, banana and almond milk. It was refreshing. The interior of Harlow is really cute and inviting. It has lights, plants, and wooden tables. There is also bar style seating. Parking is street parking and we were lucky to park right in front. The employees did not greet us or say much to us except take our order. I loved the food at Harlow and would definitely return. It's a great option for vegan, gluten-free, and healthy food!

Some seating. I was trying not to get anyone in the photo.

We couldn't decide what to order, so we split the Huevos Rancheros, and wow... it was AUHMAZING too! It was loaded with zucchini, broccoli, potatoes, carrots, spinach, and caramelized onions. Apna Chaat Bhavan is my usual stop for Biryani, but this is on another level, I haven't found any other local restaurants that come close (Bombay Cricket Club had great biryani back in the day too). It's not Hyderabad Dum style, it is a Punjabi regional style as I understand. The palak paneer was clearly made with fresh spinach, it had an excellent intense fresh spinach flavor, a big difference from the mild bland stuff most restaurants serve. The paneer was also fantastic, with a great flavor and texture - not the softer/more bland style often served.
