Haven't been to Lloyd Center in a while, but with the news of its closing later this year, I went by to check it out again. Grabbed a bubble tea while I waited for some pretzels next door. The taro milk tea didn't disappoint. The employee at the counter was very friendly and suggested I adjust to less sweet and it was perfect for my taste. If my local friend hadn't mentioned that Braganza Tea was a solid staple in the PNW, I would've written this off considering it being hosted inside the sad, sad Lloyd Center. But where there's sadness there's light, and it comes in the form of a pretty solid boba drink. They offer a variety of milk alternatives including soy milk, which is great for me as someone that's dairy-free. I ordered the standard Black Milk Tea with Boba and half sugar/ice, and it was exactly what I expected. Service here was friendly, efficient, and an overall easy experience. This location specifically makes the boba perfectly -- not to hard, not to chewy. I'm big fan of boba tea. I was really happy to discover this place at mall close to place where I live. But this place is not perfect. First minus that they don't have almond milk which is my favorite. Second minus my service was bad. I was only one who came there and girl asked me to step from other side of the line because that's how it works. But as soon as I'm only one there why should I care?While I went other side some other people came in front of me and she served them first. I was really disappointed. The other day they didn't blend my smoothie enough and I was swallowing ice. I'm not sure if I'm going to come there every second day that I used to. read more

This is one of the best places in Portland and the best place within the Lloyd district/Lloyd Centre Mall to get Bubble Tea ... I personally do not like to spend a lot for something that I enjoy and the prices here are astronomically fair for what you get. The customer service is on SUPER wonderful and helpful and the quality of everything they serve here/there is just YUMMY AF, now personally I have not tried everything they have to offer which is like a couple of menus items; however the items that me and fellow friends/family patrons have tried were completely liquid gold ...if you will... and in my opinion . Each drink is curated to taste exactly the same at each location and braganza is very consistent with their teas. Hands down they have best tapioca pearls around! I went here on a whim a few weeks ago and was greeted by a warm smile with the employee by the name of Vanessa. Given I never had boba tea before I had so many questions and she explained them all in very fine detail. From the fruit teas, milk tea, smooth teas. She gave me an overall detail of them all. I decided to go with the "original milk tea" since that is the "original" boba tea and it was phenomenal, the tea flavor mixed with the sweetness of the milk was very intriguing. I drink tons of boba places! This was one of the better ones and best mall boba I have had. Location: It was a little far, if you don't have a rent-a-car or uber it will be out of your way. This place is located in a mall/center that I had never been to. I was a bit weary because mall boba usually isn't very good but this place was great! Drinks: 50% sugar was perfect for me, usually I get this at T4 and 70% on happy lemon drinks. Quickly's is almost 50% sugar also. I got a Strawberry Mango smoothie tea, they told me they use fresh fruit which I believed because it tasted good. They said the bottom part of their menu did not use fresh fruit (canned). As long as they don't use powder I'm fine with that. I like the options that FatStraw had, but this place was more cookie cutter which has a place in the market also. Toppings: Lychee jelly was good and soft but not like it was fresh. Still tasted good for what it's worth. Only about 5 options for toppings which isn't that great. Aesthetics: It felt really nice inside had a futuristic feel when ordering/getting your drink. Service: The kid that helped us and made the drinks knowledgeable and friendly. Price: 4$ including the topping, pretty good price. Use to paying tax in California and having topping be more so this is always a welcome surprise. read more

I can't complain about Braganza. One of the few places in Portland where they don't use powders, Braganza teas actually taste like tea! The sign says that they make their boba every 45 min, which is why they have the perfect amount of chewiness. All their teas are flavorful. You coul never go wrong with the original milk tea (for toppings I mix the rainbow jelly and tapioca pearls). I also enjoy the passionfruit iced tea and coconut.
