This is the propane fill station and the brown plastic cover where wood pellets are.
    Chris L.

Normally a five star location, the yard man was rude to the point that my sister and I couldn't get away fast enough. We needed to pick up our wood pellets and then have the propane TaTaForNow! Ms filled. He piled not allow me to carry tanks the 20' to the fill area, where my sister would have had the tanks filled. Instead he demanded I drive around the yard to park and carry the tanks from the other side of the fence. He was annoyed and would not even let me get a sentence out. Then when I went to count my 20 bags of pellets, $169 worth of product, he had tossed them in like a pile of bean bags, making it impossible to count. When I said I wasn't able to count them like that he briskly said, "There's 20!" I got home, there was 20, but in my previous visit there were 18, so I got shorted 2, so I didn't think my request was unnecessary. Yes, you're busy, but you won't be if this is how you treat your customers. We have been loyal customers for as long as you've been in business, but try to remember, you're not the only game in town. FYI, Greens, it was a man with short dark hair wearing a dark brown denim(?) vest.

This is the season for baby chicks! Im new to chicks/chickens. They started their season with their "chick day." They were giving 5 chicks if you buy a bag of food. I missed it, but it sounds like a great way to get started. They have a new shipment of baby chicks every week since chickday. They post the breeds they are expecting on their Facebook page every week. There are no minimum chicks you have to buy since it is a local store and not a national store. You should bring your own box to take them home in. They sell feed, shavings, feeders, and waterers. I didn't really browse around to see what else they had. The bigger items such as shavings are paid for inside, and then you drive your car to get loaded up. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Btw, chicken math is a thing!

Our go to place for chicken feed, goat pellets, alfafa, hay, and most livestock supplies. Very convenient, as you can pay and then drive through the fence area and the staff will load most things in your truck. Very efficient process. I recommend going early as they get busy.

Wellll, I got spurrrs that jingle jangle jingle!... Hmmm, I guess nobody wants to sing! So, let's review instead, shall we? Every time I come to Green's feed, I feel like a cowboy! They have feed for practically any animal you would find on a farm! Rabbit feed? Check! Bird feed? Check! Horse, dog, pig, goat, sheep, well, you get the picture! I think they have it all! I come here for propane... That's it, just propane! I have bought local honey here before, and Natalie H has bought a few things here before, but I'm all about the propane! I have a smoking problem, I love smoking ribs! Not only is Green's feed close to North valleys and the college area, they have great prices for what they carry! I enjoy just walking down the aisles, looking at all the cool stuff! Makes me wish I had a horse! I have not had a negative encounter here, like some other reviews have stated. Everyone has been cordial, and very friendly to me! Of course, I am a rodeo clown, they have to be nice to me! If you are in the market for a harness, collar, food/water dish, or leash, to name a few items, this is the place to go! Don't wait, go now! They have what you want, need, and they will be excited to see you! When they smile, Just smile back! If they don't greet you first, greet them first! Now go up there and get those goodies! You won't be sorry!

Also, I don't know if they still do their annual "Chick Day" but that is a quick and easy way to get into keeping chickens.

Enter turn and burn propane at my beloved shoe spoon brewing Company. I pulled up to the propane tank and another customer was waiting just ahead of me so they'd already pressed the little button and the attendant was on their way. They arrived quickly with a smile on their face and rapidly filled the other customers tanks and then turn their attention to me in the meantime, while filling the other tanks, the attendant spoke to me and gave me directions to unload. Mine placed them in a row and that he'd get to them right after finishing with the first customer and that he did. Their station fills tanks very quickly, and the attendant was incredibly friendly and conversational too. It's really nice that they have the ability to take credit card payment right there at the pump saves you a step from going inside and everything is handled lickety-split. I truly cannot recommend this station enough for anyone in the South Reno area or for anyone headed south on 580 for a camping trip. They will have you in and out in no time.

I have had a couple issues with them: 1. On two occasions they have come to top off our tank but our account is on "will call" meaning they should not fill unless we call. This isn't a huge issue, luckily we were able to pay the bill but that can be an unfortunate mix-up for someone who would struggle to pay an unexpected $300+ propane bill. But I'd rather have too much propane than run out. 2. We went from June 2023 to Oct 2023 without getting a fill. They came to top off in November (one of those occasions when we did not request a fill) and we somehow used the same amount of propane in 5 weeks that we used in the 4 months from June to October. We do not use the heater at all (we use space heaters powered by electricity) so there was no way that our propane use increased that much. I believe that there may have been a leak caused by the delivery driver when he did the fill in October. This mistake cost me over $250. Now we have gone from November to June without using very much propane so I know that they must have done something wrong with that October fill. Otherwise the customer service is good and deliveries are prompt. I will continue to be a customer because I know that the issues I have had pale in comparison to the issues you'll face as an Amerigas or Ferrellgas customer.

I called on a Monday am around 8:15 as my tank was empty and I had smelled gas. Literally, 3 hours later a service tech had come to my house, trouble-shooted the issue and my tank was filled! Wow, wow, wow - I highly recommend and have always been satisfied.
