Rancher's feed has always been my go-to for my feed. Owners and staff are always wonderful.

We are new to the area. We have horses, chickens and dogs. Everyone here is informative and helpful, with tons of products to choose from. Very family-type feel to the store. I wanted to do the responsible thing and contact management on this issue but I have yet to find an email for that. I only see the same young girl working so I figure no use in calling. Maybe a decent local feed store but a poor example of good animal ownership. Their dog they let roam next to a busy street was almost hit today. Accidents happen but when I notified the girls working they chuckled and didn't think a thing of it. It was sickening and I will never be purchasing a thing from this terrible representation of what should be doing good for animals. Please keep your animals inside when th you or on a leash or sorts. Completely irresponsible. read more

This place was great! I called looking for chicks and they were so friendly and helpful on the phone. Then the next day we went in to get our babies. We are new to owning chicks and the woman working answered all my questions and was so nice in informative. We are so happy to start our little flock and watch them grow and we will always buy all our supplies and future chickens from them. read more

Cute little feed store in Lemmon Valley. We discovered this little gem when looking for best prices on rabbit food. 50 lbs bag is $18.25 which is awesome even compared to Walmart where I use to buy my food. It feels like a family run store where their little puppy Daisy has run of the place and just melted my heart. They are selling chickens, buy two get on free, $2.50 each. I've been disappointed every time I've shopped there. The older gentleman who runs the store seems nice enough, but is always confused about how to operate the computer, so checking out is always a time-consuming chore. Their prices on horse feed are at least $2 higher per bag than Feed World. The last straw was when I went in to buy an item that they usually keep in stock, but they had run out and didn't have plans to re-stock this item in the future. I had really hoped this would be my neighborhood feed store, since it's right on my way, but after 5 frustrating, expensive visits, I will shop elsewhere. read more

I went in for a 50lb bag of chicken feed. It seems like a family operated store, with children even playing with the baby chicks. The feed was a good price, and a young man brought the bag out to my car without me even asking. I'll do business there again for sure read more

Bought 8 chicks here. ALL WERE ROOSTERS! I wasn't told it was straight run chicks meaning not sexed. So much for starting a backyard hen flock. Nice enough customer service but won't be back. Heartbreaking a hard to get rid of animals you love. Won't be back. read more

My daughter and I stopped by to see what tack items they may carry for her horse. They had 3 or so saddles for sale on of which my daughter "tried out". The saddles were great prices for being used; much better than what we had found online. We also inquired about rabbit cages since she'll be starting 4H this year. We were told they found a new supplier that offered rabbit cages and may be able to order one for us. I know we'll be back. read more

I was very impressed with this feed store. I wanted a rare breed of chicken and they got on the phone right then to verify they could get it. They placed the order the while I waited. They did not request me to prepay and did not require me to take all the 5 chicks which needed to be ordered. Excellent customer service! I had just been told by "the other north valleys feed store" after prepaying and waiting for a phone call (which I never received) that the breed of chick I wanted was unavailable. One week lost that I could have checked other stores for marrans this late in chick season. I went right up to Rancher's Feed & Supply and was so impressed! Wish I had ordered all my chicks through them. I know this feed store has been under new ownership for the past few years and they are worth checking out! read more

Every time I go there I am disappointed. Most of the time they are out of whatever I need. The old man who works there is THE WORST at customer service. He talked me into trying a coconut based feed when they did not carry the feed I was looking for-satisfaction guaranteed. My mare refused to eat it, and the next week when I went in to tell them about the problem he refused to help. I had 49 lbs of the 50 lbs left in the bag , and the most helpful suggestion he had was he knew someone who used it maybe I could sell the rest of my bag to them. Another time I ran into their store at 5:50- they close at 6pm. Old man said we are closed. I pointed to my phone and said I thought you closed at 6pm. He repeated we are closed and proceeded to talk to the people at the register. Go to Greens feed, they are always in stock and are willing to go the extra mile for you. read more
