Singing variety theater. Only 50/50! Elvis impersonator was good. Not great, just OK. The female impersonators were bad! Not good, bad. Very BAD. Two Black impersonators were terrible. Embarrassing TERRIBLE!. Many years ago we loved this venue with a Michael Jackson impersonator who may have been better than Michael himself? But today (2026) it was NOT GOOD. Singers did not sing the well known song titles that they were known for. Not paying for the royalties, I suspect. Skip this place! Not worth the price! SAD !!! read more

Updating my review because we saw another show here on Sunday June 28th 2026. I knew about this show because they posted it on facebook, and wanted to go because it was called Feeling 22: A Tribute to Taylor Swift. So it happens to be that I was off that day, and figured why not go? After all- tickets were only 48.00, max 58.00. Anyways So went here on Sunday June 28 2026 to see Feeling 22: A Tribute to Taylor Swift. brought our tickets online, and picked them up at will call. Pleasant people all around. Saw both elderly people and people my age who were dancing and singing all the Taylor Swift songs! Loved the band and loved the show, as I was singing along, after every word. There were parts where I couldn't understand, but that happens sometimes, even with other artists. Amber and her band Feeling 22 did amazing! Would totally be back if there was another show with her! Keep more like this coming- i'd love a boy band tribute show, Taylor Swift, 90's show, and Jonas Brothers, and more! read more

Such a Fun and Entertaining Experience! I'm usually more into traditional plays than musical theatre, but the Greg Rowles Legacy Theatre totally won me over! This month's performance was 80s-themed, and they absolutely nailed it. The song selection was spot-on -- from Cyndi Lauper to Bruce Springsteen, and even a fun nod to classic 80s sitcoms. The energy was great, the performers were so engaging, and it was impossible not to sing or dance along. The audience skewed a bit older, but I brought my 9-year-old with me and he stayed focused and entertained the entire time -- which says a lot! They did an excellent job keeping everyone involved and having a great time. Whether you're a fan of music theatre or just looking for a fun night out listening to live music, this place is worth checking out. We'll definitely be back! read more

For numerous years, we have visited the Myrtle Beach area to enjoy the annual Christmas Shows. We had always loved taking our parents and grandchildren to Alabama Theatre and to Carolina Opry. Sadly, our parents have been long gone and the grandchildren are now grown and out on their own. However, just my hubby and I still made the long drive to Myrtle Beach again. We found out that Greg Rowles now had a show of his own and a new theatre-- The Legacy Theatre. AND we read that the Greg Rowles show had one of the highest ratings of all shows in the Myrtle Beach area! Amazingly, although they were rated the best, they offered greatly reduced ticket prices for all newcomers... which was great! We showed up almost an hour early not knowing the time we would need to get through Myrtle Beach traffic. Once in the lobby, we saw the employees form a large circle. They were all holding hands -- when they invited us to join them. Then they brought up individuals who were sick, or ill, or just needing prayer, Mr Rowles led them in prayer. They prayed for their show and all of their attendees. Mr Rowles offered words of encouragement and thanks to his employees. It was a very moving experience. Before being seated we were able to purchase delicious, freshly baked cookies (sold in individual cellophane bags), freshly made coffee and amazing hot chocolate from the refreshment center. Everyone on the team felt like they were our long gone family members. Watching the show, I found myself laughing, crying, praising God and oh, so grateful that we could hear AND see the talented singers and band members. Visiting the souvenir shop at half time we were able to buy a Christmas Ornament. We asked one of the employees if we could move up from the far end of the third row to two empty seats on the first row. She told me she almost came and got us to offer us the opportunity to move up. It seemed as if every employee on this team really does care about making one's visit memorable. After the unforgettable show, there was a long line of people wanting a photo with Greg, including me and my husband. There was an older woman, all by herself, who shared how much she had wanted a photo with Greg, but had something wrong with her leg and could not get up the stairs to the stage without railing. My sweet hubby helped her up and back down. Seeing how thrilled she was with her photo made us both happy. It seems everyone in attendance left with an even bigger heart of gratitude and concern for others. Yes, we thought we would just enjoy a wonderful Christmas show. . . but instead we got... A TASTE OF HEAVEN!! read more

FABULOUS experience. We contemplated various shows while visiting MB last week. Boy did we find a gem! From the very beginning Ann at the box office was super friendly, helpful and had a wonderful welcoming sense of humor. The show itself was better than most shows we see in Branson and bigger productions. All four super talented singers bring back memories with songs we grew up with and incredible graphics in the backdrops. Their five piece band plays Trans Siberian Orchestra better than they do! WOW! Every song was a wonderful walk down memory lane. Cindy's Hard Candy Christmas was better than Dolly's version. Fabulous talented foursome of singers. And even the "corny dad jokes" make you laugh and bring back memories of my uncles in the old days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Christmas On Main Street - it's money well spent. If we lived in MB we'd definitely be at this theater more often! But we'll recommend it to anyone going there! Thanks for a fabulous evening. read more

3/28/26: First time visit. Very impressed with this intimate yet clearly updated theater. Seats look brand new, are plush, lean back, with arm rest drink holders, and plenty of knee room so other patrons can easily pass. This smaller, 300 seat theater and wide stage allow every seat to feel close to the performers, especially when the performer walks out onto the wide stage steps. The left and right video screens allow close-up views of each performer. Restrooms are clearly modernized and roomy. I did not try the refreshment stand. Casey Kasem's American Top 40 Countdown Experience was an enjoyable "blast from the past." All the top hits were from my youth and brought back fond memories. The lead male singer was simply PHENOMENAL! He sang the majority of the 40 songs with his clear, smooth, yet strong voice, often sounding like the original iconic artist or even better! He is a Star. We saw 3 shows while in Myrtle Beach. This was the last one. The others were the Opry and Carolina... The other 2 had 'tribute' bands. This one was in our opinion the best. WHY? this show felt more genuine. The performers were friends....enjoyed being together with scripted and spontaneous laughs, jokes and music. Not that it wasn't well performed or rehearsed, but I believe they said it...Come back every night and each will be different. They have a basic repertoire, but rotate it so we sitting out front can feel it is more real than the same routine each night. If we return to Myrtle, this is the place we will make sure to visi. read more

We are from Florida and attended the Main Street Christmas Show. The show was very good with lots of music and fun! The show had a 15 minute intermission and lasted about 2 hours and 15 minutes total. To me it was like watching a TV Christmas Special from many years ago. read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Legacy Theatre! If you wish to be met with delightful and friendly staff at concessions, helpful ushers, and performers who know how to get an audience on their feet, you won't be disappointed. Whether you frequent the theatre or only visit once in a blue moon, you can't help but to be impressed by the performance these folks put on. The harmonies were magnificent. The story telling made you feel as if you were in the company of old friends. Each member of the band is the best of the best. My wife and I had seen Greg many times at the Alabama Show but this was our first visit to his new theatre. The venue was comfortable and clean, all of the staff were very nice but the show was mediocre at best. There are four aging singers, no dancers and the music was so loud it was hard to really hear the singers; maybe by design. We appreciated their effort but probably won't be going back unless it is to see a visiting group. read more

This was the first trip of mine to Myrtle Beach. A close friend recommended attending a show at the Greg Rowles Legacy Theater. What a great evening out with 10 friends! 2 1/2 hour show did not disappoint! The theater is brand new with lots of parking, extremely comfortable seats, and great views of the stage. One of the nicest theaters I've been seen in recent memory. From the delightful clerks at the box office to the ushers showing us to our seats, with the trivia questions on the screens ahead of time while we waiting for the show to begin, and finally a fabulous performers entertaining the whole audience with iconic songs taking my spirit back into musical memories from my youth, I was thrilled I came! The ensemble comprised of Greg Rowles, and three others performers who delighted us with so much musical expertise. They all had backgrounds in the cruise line entertainment industry as well as two of them had appeared many times at the Grand Old Opry. The Legacy band is made up of five extremely talented individuals. They each seem to play a variety of instruments. I especially enjoyed the review of the 70s theme songs from all of our favorite TV shows. It was so powerful and so well done! The background lighting on the screen is exquisite. The barbershop comedies skit just made me laugh so hard. It must be because I like that type of comedy, but I think everybody in the theater enjoyed it. My stomach was hurting from laughing so hard! Well, worth every penny spent on the tickets. The 10 of us enjoyed every minute of it. It is completely live theater at its BEST! It's so enjoyable to have live performers and live music with nothing taped or dubbed! There is a first time visitor discount of 25% off your tickets. We called the ticket office to purchase our tickets. I believe you will have an incredible evening attending this theater production, whatever it is. I went with a group with free tickets. It was entertaining, but I won't be paying for admission in the future. The band did a good job. There was a lot of talking that took up time that could have been used for entertainment. There was a section on old TV shows and commercials. If you have a choice, go to Carolina Oprah instead. read more

We went to see the Christmas on Main show. Out of the two hour show 15 minutes of it was slapstick comedy one liners, which really wasn't very good. And after intermission before the show started up again there was about 15 minutes, wasted on recognizing a Pickleball team where the team actually did a speech trying to advertise and get people to join their team. They and also recognized birthdays for about six people in the audience. I kept thinking what in the world did I spend my money for? it certainly was not a Christmas show that I was expecting wait there's more. The side screens were advertising Greg Rowles realty company. And local businesses. The band was great and when they were actually singing songs, they weren't bad. There are only four people in the show, but they had two guest singers. I was not that impressed with this show. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

Wow!! The newest and greatest show in town!!! We have been enjoying going to watch Greg Rowles at a few venues over the years, and we have always loved his performances. Our friends came to visit from NJ and we decided this was the show we were going to see. This new venture exceeded our expectations by far (and our expectations were high!)! The theater is brand new and so intimate and comfortable. We felt like Greg and his performers came into our living room and performed for us personally! The music & memories title is spot on and appropriate. The fun music from "back in the day" tunes to more current is performed with enthusiasm and such joy, if this doesn't give you all the fabulous feels, there's no hope for you! We've been to Carolina Opry and Alabama Theater several times and love those shows, but this show is a refreshing diversion from the shows like that.
