We were in Lexington running an errand and decided to try Greggs. The restaurant is small and right off the main road near Welcome. The menu is extensive with lots to choose, from breakfast to Mexican, or seafood to burgers. I wanted to go with a burger but found they were frozen patties. So I decided to go with fried shrimp and hot chips. The shrimp plate had tons of shrimp that were golden brown and tasty. However the hot chips were overly thin which I thought would be good but they ended up absorbing a ton of grease flavor. They weren't seasoned either. My daughter got the ACP which she said was pretty tasty and my son got a child's spaghetti with meat sauce. I tried it and it was pretty good. Prices were fair, and service was nice. read more

First time visiting Gregg's Kitchen. I met a friend for a quick lunch. Gregg's was really hopping during midweek lunch, which is a good sign. Kimberly was our server and she was direct and moving fast, which I like. Really on point. I got the Mushroom swiss burger and fries. The fries were cooked just right and had the tasty, crunchy outsides. The burger was good too, a little wet, but sloppy is a good sign. The flavor was fine and it was cooked to well-done all the way through. My friend got a plate of breakfast stuff: eggs, sausage, french toast etc. He said it was decent. Seems pretty simple! Go in, order food, eat, leave. I hate we had to rush out, but I think Gregg's will be worth trying again. read more

My family and I have visited this place several times since we moved near to this area, and it's become one of our favorite spots. In fact, during our last visit -- to our surprise -- the waitress already knew what we were going to order to drink and even remembered my daughter's very specific meal choice before she even ordered it lol. The Reuben sandwich is my personal favorite, the fries are simply delicious, and the quesadillas could easily rival any Tex-Mex restaurant in the area. This place reminds me of a Stella's from Syracuse so my nephew told me to stop by. The wings were kind of gross to be honest they weren't fully cooked when I asked for extra crispy. I had the steak and cheese quesadillas and they were pretty good actually! This was just to hold me over because I was starving and there weren't much choices in the area. This place has a ton of options and serves breakfast all day. I would like to try more options from their menu maybe next time. They were very friendly. read more

Went out of town for a wedding and stumbled across this little gem. Everything is cooked by the owner and he definitely knows what he is doing. Everything was amazing. I highly suggest the club sandwich. Also loved that the chips were homemade and fresh. The front of the house was run by a mother daughter team and there little ambassador Sunshine. Everyone was friendly even down to the customers. We asked where would be a good place to get a wedding gift and everyone started throwing out suggestions. It was extremely homey and made me feel like a regular. If we're ever back I'm the area we will definitely be stopping by again. read more

My wife and I went there last night and the service was poor and the food was not good. We both had breakfast. I didn't think that you could screw up breakfast but they proved that you could. The bacon was over cooked and tasteless. Hash browns and eggs were ok. The toast has no taste which was weird. To be fair we have had good meals there before. read more

Visited Gregg's for the first time a few weeks ago. Nice place, good sanitary rating, good prices, and great employees. I got the shrimp special. I like a light breading, and this was spot on. Good as I get at the beach, but much better price. We were excited to bring friends to Gregg's a few days ago. I got my favorite shrimp again. I couldn't believe how BAD it was. It tasted as if someone dropped a load of salt in it. I just couldn't send it back after talking our friends into coming. Gave it another try recently. The chicken special was ok. Here at Gregg's Kitchen you can get breakfast at anytime during the day. Service at times can be better, but of course it is a hit and miss and it could be based on the time you get there too. I have never had problems with my food not being hot, just slow with getting refills. read more

Shrimp Alfredo 10.95.....comes with 2 sides (did not get) Hamburger Steak with onions and cheese....7.95+1.00 for the onions and cheese Difference was 2.00......was told that because he did not send the salad back I didn't get the difference back! Needless that he didn't take the 2 sides....... Trust me there are better places to eat! I will frequent them.....not your establishment! Never been treated so bad! And I had to drive back to fix it!
