Located at the Great Mall entrance between Burlington and Marshalls, with a few tables and seating adjacent to the coffee stand, this cafe offers a limited selection of snacks and beverages, especially being out of several items on a Sunday around 1:30pm. There's a self-order kiosk, but the customer in front of me was super slow in ordering, so an employee offered to help me at the register. My drink was ready in about 5 minutes and the food took 10 minutes. I got the deluxe sandwich (egg, turkey sausage, and cheese on a croissant bun), and an iced mocha with 2% milk. Both items were delicious. My beverage was a tad watery, a bit heavy on the ice, and had just enough mocha in it. It could have used a little more, but I still enjoyed this. The sandwich tasted better than it looked, and I couldn't tell the difference between the turkey sausage it came with and the savory flavor of pork breakfast sausage which I typically prefer, so that worked in my favor. Gregory's Coffee is well known in New York and finally made its way to the Bay Area. The menu is extensive, ranging from specialty drinks to yummy baked goods. Their matcha happens to be popular here. The service was self explanatory. It can be packed here and there, but the order comes in fairly quickly. The atmosphere just feels like any mall setting. I ordered a Cherry Blossom Latte. Unfortunately the flavor was weak because the amount of ice watered down my drink. The foam melted away pretty quickly. For what I got, it was steep for $8. Maybe they have better matcha than standard lattes, so I'll give another shot next time and report back. read more

It was really kind of mid? Got the Sakura matcha latte and Fall oat boy. They ended up tasting the same--sweetened oat milk. Flavors aren't really strong enough. A bit pricey for what you're getting it feels. It's located inside the mall and there are a few tables available. read more

When it first arrived, the drink looked really good, with a cherry sitting on top. The first sip was nice, but after a few sips especially once the cherry mixed in, it became way too syrupy for my taste, even after stirring everything together. The price is a little expensive but my oh my, this rainbow cookie matcha was amazing! I wish i would have gotten a large, the taste was ravishing. The presentation and the overall taste of the matcha was 10/10. You can really taste the raspberry and the matcha. It's a nice blend indeed. Came by here for a quick caffeine fix and this place was great! Went in and was easy to find right by the entrance and no wait time. They offered many other drinks and ordered online to pick up. Coffee was fine however we stopped by around 6pm and they had all the chairs up and I asked if they could put one down since I am handicap and in crutches I can't walk and hold a cup of coffee. The guy said no and only if whatever one table they have left down is available which was occupied by kids who weren't even customers of the coffee shop. The guy then came around told the kids to get off and put the table and chairs up and I was not able to sit so I had to stand while I finished my coffee. Surprised this place is rated so low! I ordered a cherry blossom matcha latte and a flower power cold brew. Drinks were not bad! I expected worse from mall kiosk coffee.. they were pricey at 7 dollars each. Cherry Blossom matcha latte tasted slightly medicinal but it got better as I kept drinking it.. not a bad drink but I don't think I would get it again. The cold brew was better! but it was more sweet if you're into that.. I liked it but my partner said it was more latte than cold brew. I think the drinks were fun so I'd come back and try it again. came on sunday labor day weekend at about 4:30pm. staff were so kind and jolly! the man serving me was thoroughly explaining the drink descriptions and helping me with the fall menu. i ordered the matcha latte with some pumpkin cold foam on the side to try. i'd recommend less ice, almond milk, and they do offer sugar free vanilla syrup. order was received within 5ish minutes. overall flavor was very light, not bitter, and the califia brand almond milk complimented the taste very well. overall great service, i just would not come here for their matcha. solid, nothing funky, but also nothing that stood out. read more

This was my first time at Gregory's coffee and I ordered the triple fruit smoothie which was probably a dumb idea since this place is meant for coffee. I honestly was not expecting much from the drink by this smoothie was downright atrocious. It was not sweet at all and was slightly bitter. I also saw that they were using a carton of juice that was almost empty so I'm not sure if that was the problem and maybe it was close to expiration. This place just left me utterly baffled with their drinks and costumer service. The only thing they have going for them is the idea and potentiality of their interesting drinks. Which is what drew me to Gregory's in the first place. I was a bit put off by it being vegan, but decided to give it a try. This was last Friday where they had a special/seasonal/flavor of the month or week drink. Blue Moon Matcha? There were blueberries in it. It was so good, even though they ran out the the accompanying foam. The barista/cashier replaced it with something else. Guess I'll never know what it was supposed to taste like. Regardless, the following Friday, I went specifically to the mall just to order it again. They didn't have it anymore, but another matcha drink with salted egg yolk syrup and some tahini foam thing. Yes! Count me in. But, again, they were out of the salted egg yolk thing. Last week, at about noon, they were out of an essential component/ingredient for their special/highly advertised drink and the same thing again today? Really? At around lunchtime? Instead of offering a similar alternative or asking if I wanted to wait so they could make more, they just stood there. Staring. I asked if they could sub with something similar. She said maple syrup. I'm like sure. They make my drink and it's a regular matcha. I ask them about the tahini foam and she says they ran out of that too. WTF?! If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it at all. I don't want regular matcha. I came here specifically for their special matchas. Why have a special/seasonal drink thing that you highlight on your menu with a circular zig zag design to get customers to order it and then run out of the essential ingredients? Two subsequent visits at roughly around the same time and you run out?! Unacceptable. The management needs to get it together. Also, the employees could be a bit more proactive, clear, and not act so clueless. When I ordered my drinks on those two separate occasions, each cashier looked confused/scared and had to enlist the help of their co-worker, which is fine, but just communicate to me instead of staring, being silent, and quietly slinking away. read more

I've been waiting for this place to open since Ive found out it'll be in the great mall location and now that it's here, I couldn't wait to try it out. I love how the coffee is freshly brewed and how simple it was to order online for pick up/delivery to my place. I ordered the iced biscotti testarossa and it was really good! The mascarpone cream isn't too sweet and blended nicely with the coffee itself. The almond/hazelnut flavor definitely takes over as you sip it. What made it a nice touch was the dried orange peel on top. Apart of their valentines menu, I ordered their red velvet cookie but since they ran out, it was replaced with a chocolate chip cookie instead. Cute little coffee shop but not worth it. I ordered iced love affair. It is delicious but they gave me a small looking drink that's actually a medium. It cost $6.95... not a good deal. Also the drink I ordered showed on the picture that it's supposed to be pink. Instead it was fully brown. I was confused so I asked them about it. One person said the machine must be messed up, then another one said the mocha changes the color. Well, that's a false advertisement. I was excited about the drink because it looked good. The color is what got my attention. Also we witnessed another customer return their food because it was burnt and hard to the touch when she literally knocked on the buns! lol Although the environment is aesthetically pleasing, I don't see its full value. I came in Friday morning and the experience was really disappointing. I ordered a hot drink and waited in line like everyone else. When my drink was ready, the barista handed me an iced one instead. Mistakes happen, so I politely told her we ordered it hot. She remade it but it was still iced and didn't even look like the same drink. At that point, my sister and I just took it because our kids were getting restless.What made the experience worse was the attitude. The barista didn't call out any name, didn't acknowledge us, and just set the drink on the counter. No smile, no communication, nothing. It honestly seemed like she hated her job and that we were an inconvenience for simply asking for the drink we ordered.We ended up waiting longer because we didn't even know whether the drink she placed on the counter, which was still wrong, was supposed to be ours. Ordered a medium half sweet iced Fall Out Boy with high hopes, but was disappointed. At first look, it appeared too watery. At first taste, it tasted like oat milk. So I shook it up, took a sip, and now it was watered down cinnamon oat milk. Like damn, where's the espresso at?? For a $7+ drink, I expected more. If I wanted a watered down oat milk latte, I could have made it at home. 1 star for great customer service. Thanks for the memories, even if they weren't so great.
