If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I visited on 7/21/2026 around 2:00 PM and had a terrible experience with the "manager", Amily (or Amy). She was incredibly rude, hostile, and unapologetic even after I politely pointed out the issue to her. She seemed completely out of control and clearly needs proper customer service training--or shouldn't be working behind the counter at all. The only saving grace was Eli, who was kind, gentle, and calmly tried to handle the situation. I wish I could review the drinks here but we were told no frappes and no matcha today, we ended up getting some egg bites instead, they tasted ok but were cold on the inside so the cheese part didn't even melt all the way. The person taking our order was so rude and whispered so it was very hard to understand. The rudest place ever. Just tried to get a coffee plain and the girl at the counter would not help me, even after I asked her twice, she just put her back to me and filled her sugars. This is the second time I've been there and the staff is rude and indifferent. They do not have a clue what customer service is even when the customer is asking politely and nicely. Gregorys Coffee has finally made its way to Westchester - opening a location in White Plains, albeit inside the Westchester Mall. I really wish these new businesses coming to WP would open their stores out on the street, but I get the business decision of opening in the mall to maximize foot traffic. It's just with all of the new residences being built in the city, new business in close proximity would make sense. Anyway, I digress - I *was* in the Westchester Mall the other day and had been anticipating their opening, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to check them out. Gregorys is a NYC-based coffeehouse chain which has since expanded to locations in Jersey and DC. The space it occupies in the mall was a Starbucks for many years, and before that it was a Gloria Jeans. They did a great job refreshing the space - the layout is similar to when it was a Bux but the color scheme is lighter which is on-brand with Gregorys. There's merch scattered throughout the queue area, and the display cases have a selection of pastry and grab-and-go products. I honed my attention on the menu board above the production area - the usual coffeehouse staples were there plus a few signature drinks and hot food items (in additions to the aforementioned pastries on display). I thought it would be fun to go with one of their signature drinks - I originally wanted the Honey Badger, but was told they were out of them so I decided on the Hall and Oats. This was cold brew with oat milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. The drink was pretty good - the cinnamon and vanilla flavors weren't too strong but enough for me to know this wasn't just cold brew. Service was fine - the line moved pretty quickly and I barely waited for my order to be ready. Overall, my first experience at Gregorys was solid - I need to experience them again in order to form a more solid opinion, but for now it seems pretty standard. That being said, I want to return to explore more of their offerings. read more

I ordered a Matcha Cookie Cream Latte, but I was not informed that foam was unavailable at the time of purchase. The drink was made and handed to me without any notice or explanation, despite the foam being a key component of the beverage. Had I been informed in advance, I would have chosen a different drink or decided whether I still wanted to proceed with the order. I believe customers should be notified when an essential part of a menu item is unavailable before the drink is prepared and served. I hope this feedback helps improve communication with customers in the future. I would appreciate your acknowledgment of this issue and guidance on how it can be resolved. read more

the lazy staff members make it impossible to spend money on. Why would I buy coffee from kids with poor attitudes and inconsistency? The first few visits were great, Everyday since new management, n team service has gone down 100% & my coffee taste different everyday smh. I stooped in for coffee around 10:30a and there was one person and then two more came in. In that time i ordered and coffee came out. I got a tuna melt snd it took 45 mins to get the tuna melt..no exaggeration. I asked multiple times and was told it was being worked on. The line cleared 3 times as I watched peoples orders be filled and leave. It was $12 for a small sandwich that was average and salty. I won't be returning. read more

I am glad they opened a Gregory's coffee joint in white plains at the Westchester as it's my go to coffee stop in Manhattan for a good cappuccino and sweet pastry. A bit pricey for the hot and cold beverages but they do make them with a kick which helps when you are getting ready for a long day . Good selection of fresh pastries, comfy seating setup and it's spacious for good leg and elbow room . Glad they dropped anchor here at the Westchester in white plains and will see me again occasionally on the weekends , 4 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Absolutely terrible service from the barista who served us. She was so disrespectful and rude to my partner for ordering a drink iced that apparently they only serve hot? She said "Uhh we don't do that ... this isn't Starbucks". At least at Starbucks yes, the coffee would've been just as mediocre, but it would've been served without the disgusting attitude read more

It could very well be because I went on New Year's Day, but the store was under staffed and very visibly dirty. Spent 20 minutes in line just to order and spent another 20 minutes to get my drink. At the Paramus location I always order the hall and oats cold brew from their cold brew bar - this time it was basically a cup of milk. I had to return it and ask for more coffee to which the barista started to make a new one that was just as milkier as the last. I felt bad even having to bring it up because the barista was visibly stressed and apologizing for being short staffed - shame on management. I always get the hall and oats cold brew from their Paramus location and it comes great every time, I think the machine they use at this Westchester location must be broken. But for this location to be poorly run and the only real coffee spot at the mall is just ridiculous and unacceptable. read more
