Wonderful! My dog is welcome to dine under umbrellas or the porch and the staff take good care of her. Her full size plain burger is a really reasonable price For me, the Bacon Cheddar Burger is the best burger on the Grand Strand. Juicy, flavorful, and always cooked to my request for medium. If I'm not in the mood for the burger, the pulled pork sandwich, or rack of ribs, is absolutely great. The staff is friendly, the fries and coleslaw are tasty, and the carrot cake is yummy. Over the years we've visited Greg's Cabana Bar & Grill many times, and I can honestly say we've never been disappointed. The only challenge sometimes is that it can be hard to get in on busy nights--which really tells you how popular the place is. On our most recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had updated the seating in the booths. They remodeled them and added new chairs and tables, making them much more comfortable. The restaurant still has the same classic feel it's always had, but everything looks fresh with new flooring and updated seating. Another nice improvement is that they moved their trivia game to the back part of the restaurant. That has really opened up the main dining and bar area so patrons can enjoy their meals and a few cold beers without the crowding that used to happen during trivia nights. Their menu remains mostly the same, which is a good thing. It's somewhat limited, but everything on it is very good. Every time I go, I order the "Cheeseburger in Paradise." They offer several different burgers by name, and they cook them exactly the way you like--rare, medium rare, medium, or well done. You can also choose fresh-cut home fries or their house-made potato chips, which are excellent. Another thing we've noticed over the years is the consistency of the wait staff. When you go in a few times, you start seeing the same ladies working there, and they really hustle and do a great job taking care of everyone. It's just a great place with a wonderful atmosphere. It's become one of my go-to spots for dinner, and I often take my wife and my mom. My mom is 86 years old and absolutely loves it too. We've never had a bad experience there. read more

I wouldn't return...My family arrived on a Wednesday around 6:15. They don't have a server so getting a table is a combination of the Hunger Games and hoping the rest of the people waiting take their turn/dont line jump. The person behind us was holding the door open and the bartender was yelling "we are not trying to cool Myrtle Beach." If I wasn't hungry/with my family I would have left then. After 15-20 minutes we were able to get a table in the back. Two of us got hamburgers and two got ribs. I'll be the first to admit my burger was good and I don't typically eat hamburgers when I'm out. My wife liked her burger and the ribs were enjoyed. The other drawback was we were pushing a 40 minute ticket time. Parking is a dumpster fire here. Based on the wait for food and other options in the vicinity, I don't envision a reason to ever return to Greg's. read more

This place was on our list of places to eat long before we even got to MB and I'm so glad we came! It's nothing fancy but it's also not a dive bar. It's along the highway so parking is tricky. Food was delicious!! Lots of options. My fried fish was insane!!! I wanted a whole nother order because it was so good! We try to visit Greg's every time we come to Myrtle Beach. It is a wonderfully divvy restaurant where the locals eat. It is a no-frills event--seat yourself, first-come-first-served--no list to get on, and no reservations. The full-bar always has people around it as well. Drinks are great, no draft beer here. I'm one to order something different every time I visit a restaurant, but at Greg's it seems like I always go for the barbecue ribs special. My husband gets fried shrimp. Been going there for years has the best burgers around but lately I think they hired a new cook on two separate occasions I ordered medium rare and both times they came out like shoe leather and also ordered their famous French onion soup. We just learned about this place on our last day here and, boy, are we sad about that! My husband is a big burger fan and he was over the moon with their cheeseburger in paradise. The onion rings were right up there with the best we've ever had, and the southwest egg rolls were the same. The sweet tea was bottomless and our waitress even gave us one to go at the end. Nice touch. We are grieving that we didn't get a chance to try the ribs and fried green tomatoes and fried green beans. Next time! Greg's is a really cool little bar and grill in the area. We called to place a curbside pickup order on a Thursday afternoon. It was relatively easy to place the order after a brief phone tree. We were told the order would be ready in 20, arrived in about 15 and called to let them know we had arrived. The staff is very friendly, and let us know the order was ready, and would be brought right out. Another 10-15 went by and no one came out so we went inside. This was the only nuance to our experience but they were pretty busy so we understood. It also gave us the chance to see the ambience inside which was a laid back, relaxing beach bar theme. The food was AMAZING and well worth the wait. You HAVE to get the Fried Chicken BLT, the photo does not do its size justice! The flavor was even better. Juicy, tender, well seasoned chicken topped with melty cheese, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato, and a side of mayo. The fries were crisp and delicious, with a creamy tasty ranch. We also got chicken tenders and hot chips (not pictured) and they were just as tasty. We will definitely be back! read more

We live about 5 minutes from Gregs. All you have to do is look at the parking lot all times of the day and you'll see what is a very popular place it is. The food is consistantly good and the service is just fine. Yeah the parking can be challenging sometimes and getting a table the same, but that's what you get for being a popular joint.
