Unfortunately, the rest of our experience with this vehicle was the complete opposite. During our 11‑hour drive, the radio screen and navigation system repeatedly shut off -- about every 10 minutes. This made the drive extremely stressful and unsafe, especially since we were relying on the GPS. When we arrived at our destination, we went to the closest Enterprise location for help. We were told, very bluntly, that they couldn't assist us and that we would have to go to the airport location instead. I then called customer service, but they kept giving me the runaround, and several representatives were disrespectful on the phone. In the end, we had no choice but to deal with the malfunctioning vehicle for the entire trip. On the drive back home, the same issues continued -- no radio, no GPS -- and the oil light came on indicating the car needed an oil change. When we returned the car, the employee who checked us in was arrogant and dismissive. He said, "Wow, this is a new car, it should work like a charm," but never even stepped outside to inspect the vehicle or acknowledge the issues we reported. Overall, I was extremely unhappy with this experience. Between the unsafe vehicle, the lack of support, and the poor customer service, this was by far the worst rental experience I've had.

Called on the day I thought I was suppose to return and another employee was rude as hell and told me "I don't know what to tell you" when I pointed out I haven't received a 2 day notice yet (as I was previously told to wait for) - this employee "Wes" answers the phone on speaker phone, you can barely hear him and refused to take me off speaker at first. The rooms and facilities are clean, modern, and well maintained. Special pluses for a big bathroom with a non-slip floor and lots of grab bars everywhere. Room and bed are comfortable and it is not very expensive compared with the hotels we are used to. Lots of plugs and electronics hook ups. There is the usual small fridge, microwave, tv and coffee maker. There is an iron and ironing board. The usual complaints, no elevators, only one chair in each room, skimpy on soap, tp, etc. As is getting more common, your room is not picked up every day and if you want something, you have to go to the front desk. The one big complaint is that there is no closet, no hangers, and only two hooks for your clothes. What is with that? We asked for hangers at the desk and they went into panic mode and stole 2 from the laundry room. They need at least one comfortable chair. The desk chair they provide is not very comfortable. We had to drag the shower chair out of the bathroom and put 2 pillows on it. Stay away from the rooms with a "hot tub" unless you really plan to use it. It takes space away from the bathroom and costs a lot more. Skip the hotel breakfast unless you are really pressed for time. There is a Huddle House right across the Interstate, and for a little more drive (about 25 minutes) go to Bob Evans.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days while exploring the Charleston area and we chose this location…read morerather than staying in the city based on the good reviews. The location is a little bit odd as you have to drive behind a few businesses to reach the hotel , but it was less than an hour most directions from all of the things that I wanted to do and I believe based on the reviews I read that it was the best choice in the area for value and quality. I will admit I got off to a bit of a rocky start as I jumped in the shower right away to find that the shampoo bottle was completely empty. Nobody likes getting out of the shower midway to try and find their travel shampoo. I was also frustrated that there was only a tiny travel size body wash offered for my entire stay and a half roll of toilet paper. However afterwards, when I asked for more shampoo and body wash, the staff was helpful and prompt. As a matter of fact, all the stuff was very nice in every interaction I had at this location. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that I needed. There were four large incredibly fluffy pillows on each bed and the high ceilings made the room feel very large. I was able to see my car from my room. The Wi-Fi connection is very good and very fast. The refrigerator worked well and kept everything nice and cold. The heating and air conditioning unit did make a bit of an annoying noise when it was running, but it was efficient and I just made sure to turn it off before I went to sleep so that the noise didn't bother me. The hotel is pet friendly and we paid $50 for our 4-day stay to have our dog with us, which comes out to $12.50 a day and I think that's more than reasonable. They also have a small pet relief area just across the parking lot. They offer breakfast as well, which I only went to one morning, but it was very nice. They had biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, and assortment of cereals, pastries and fresh fruit. So, if the breakfast is important to you, you definitely get a good variety and a good value here. They also have a fitness room, but there is no pool. Overall, this was a great stay and definitely worth a little bit of an extra drive each day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good quality hotel in the area.
