Bad costumer service by owner and manager and they will over charge you regardless of them being at fault

Rented a tiller from Griffith Rentals and thought they were very helpful and great to work with. They helped load and unload it. Would have no problem renting from them again in the future. read more

I rented a metal detector from their store on Saturday at around 11am. They were only open until 1pm and closed on Sunday and they said just bring it back on Monday. Well when I had my sister in law drop it off, they charged us double because we didn't get it back by 8:30am in the morning. When I picked it up, they never said that...just told me to drop it off on Monday. And the man I spoke to this time (who really didn't care what I said) told me it was in the contract...yep somewhere in the $25 contract for renting a radar detector. If you employee would have told me that in the first place, I would have gotten it there in the morning. Will never use again. read more

I went to rent a power washer. The man who waited on me was incredibly rude. First, he attempted to make me feel dumb by acting like he didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for a power washer. Apparently I should have said "pressure washer." OK. So then he asks me who I'm washing with (I'm thinking...what the hell? Do I need permission??). I said my husband, and he said something about it being hard on my arms, and that my husband should be handling the machine. Really, if the owners are reading this review, I want to say: Wake up! Women rent tools too! Don't you want our business? Because I wouldn't be back (and neither would my husband) with this kind of attitude. The saving grace was a different man who showed me how to operate the power washer, he was kind and patient and explained things well. Overall, I want to say that really, the demeaning comments is so 1970s, and we are WAY past that, folks. read more

took our mower in last fall it wouldnt keep running.....$65 for a 95¢ part and labor.....we got our lawn mowed for the winter....this spring, same problem.....took it back, *fixed it* no charge....still runs like crap on a stick.....i wouldnt take a play mower there to be fixed....the younger guy that works there is as rude as can be. read more

Really rude employees. Literally laughed at every question we asked about a particular piece of equipment. Got the definite feeling they would love to be doing something else - somewhere else. Very demeaning experience. Perhaps they're unaware there is another local rental business who provides the very same service. However, we would never visit this business again, even if they were the only game in town. read more
