Waited outside for 20 minutes in 23 degree temperatures. The schedule allows to many people to book appointments and the facility is frequently under staffed. After being checked in I noticed the employees standing around chatting with one another, not focusing on their jobs, meanwhile the clients are outside standing in under freezing temperatures. Then, my file was misplaced causing me to wait even longer while people with appointments after me went ahead. Rachel at the front counter completely lacks customer service skills, she is rude to the clients, does not value her job or the clients and it shows. read more

I am familiar with the process of donating Plasma - used to visit Octapharma on a regular, but that facility is kinda low maintenance. Not bad at all. I am familiar with donating blood, but not plasma, so my first time here was a bit jarring. The check in went a bit longer than expected, but the staff was courteous and professional. By the time I was able to start the plasma giving process, I wasn't half as nervous as I thought. In fact, the technicians made my first time here as seamless as possible. The place is dirty, bathroom is disgusting. I received a text stating that I would receive a $75 bump if I donated twice in the week. I did it, but did not receive the bump. I called and was given the run around by a dying to be rude staffer. When I had enough of her condescending tone and told her to knock it off, she of course tried to put it back on me. I immediately asked to speak with her supervisor. "Michael" got on the phone, was not particularly friendly or even a little professional. He claimed I had been rude to his staffer, the opposite was in fact true. Then he made on excuse after another about corporate sending the text out and that I wasn't eligible because I was a new donor, and that there we signs up stating this. Utter non sense. I was sent the text, by name, I made the donation. When I pushed back on his excuse making - he hung up on me. Zero professional practice from the supervisor. Don't use Grifol's. read more

So I'm a new patient and this is my fourth visit, I started in November. After my donation which is still valid at 100 dollars 2 more times I recieved 48 dollars mind you they were closing so I ran to the door with the statement in my hand telling a worker Kose with long hair that he played me like a return and I'm a new patient. He assured me to wait 20 mins for the rest of the money to hit which is $52 dollars being that I only got 48. I waited at the bank atm and kept checking the balance only to see the same amount. How is it that you guys don't ever answer the phone ? Also I was really disappointed last time I came , the lady didn't even try to give me a warm compress to bring out my veins , she didn't ask me to pump my arm or anything . The first time I came the older Asian lady was amazing , everyone was too scared cause they couldn't find a vein in a matter of seconds .. she came in and gave me a warm compress pumped my arm and in less then a minute she found a nice vein I didn't even know I had . I literally refuse to refer this plasma center to ANYONE!!! They are always "short staffed". They will only see you if you make a appointment, but do not honor your appointment time. They will keep you waiting for over a hour at the LEAST! And that is even with "making a appointment" the staff is lazy and unprofessional. And to think people make donations to HELP! This center use to be the best in the state but then a few months ago corporate just decided to lower everyones pay and then kept lowering more and more each month. Been a long time donor here so I've seen a lot of changes take place. They've changed to a new appointment based system which doesn't work. My last visit I waited 2 hours before being called to get screened. The old system wasn't broken, so why did they think it needed to be fixed to begin with? And they have new people working there who don't seem to take notice who the veterans are from the newer donors. They talk to everyone as they are ignorant newbies, and with this condescending tone of voice. Remember you rely on your donors to keep your business going. Talk to them like adults. And stop with the incessant asking for the donor's name already! For crying out loud, if I've responded to my name 3 times already what makes you think that's changed during the donation process? You have my picture in my file! Use some critical thinking to make the match! You've had many good workers that you've let go and the new ones you have now I wonder how they managed to graduate high school. Stop infuriating your donors! read more

I've donated several times in Panama City, Florida without problems. I went to donate a month ago and was denied due to new policy that people who live in condos are no longer able to donate. This location by far might just be the best plasma donation center grifols has to offer!!! The only reason I say that is all credits to the staff. They have exceeded my expectations and have gone above. Their are these two nurses who are so efficient and helpful. You will always catch them at their best! Every time I come in they say my pulse is too high yet every time I go to the doctor my pulse is always normal I even bought a pulse meter to check and it's normal! They refuse to take it with anything but a blood pressure cuff which makes it go higher. I drive 45 min to get here and it's a complete waste of time and the people here are not helpful at all if I could give them no stars I deff would also they only give you a 15 min waiting period between rechecks even if you ask for longer it's compleate bullshit read more

I've been donating here for over a year now and over the last 2 months the wait times have been horrendous. A few weeks ago I left two days because I'd been waiting nearly 2 hours just to get my vitals done. Today it took over an hour to get in a chair to start the donation. If it weren't for the long wait times, I'd give this a higher rating as the pay is decent and staff are courteous. THE WORST PLACE TO DONATE IVE EVER BEEN. DO NOT COME HERE. I have experienced multiple deferrals for bogus reasons. I have had the needle placed in my arm and moved around because it wasn't done correctly the first time. A friend of mine had bruises all over their arms for 2 weeks after donating. I have been going to this facility since 2017 and it's very good fast but Everytime I'm up for the bonus I am told that I can't donate because of my protein. I understand that that my be the case but not Everytime it's time for me to receive the bonus for donating. I have been going here for sometime and it's always the same thing. Ive been coming to this donation center for a couple years. They are always clean and the staff is very friendly. The system changes were definitely something that needed to be adjusted to but at the end of the day they do their jobs really well. I know this is a slow process but the staff was unorganized. People that got there after me were called before me. There were so many people but the staff found time to take their job picture twice. I went in to donate, pre screening went well, however, after I finished last cycle, I became disorientated and waved my hands, yelled, and other donors saw that the technicians were totally inattentive and start yelling for them as well. I stood up and passed out on the floor. When I woke up, I was evaluated and emergency evacuated to local ER. The 60 dollars that I would have received had costed me 10 times that for the ER cost.
