I had the pleasure of staying at the Westin at Denver International Airport recently for work. Because I arrived in the early evening, I decided to order from the restaurant on site. This did not disappoint! Charlotte and Juliana helped me with my order and all of the many substitutions to make sure nothing had dairy or eggs. I was even able to speak with the chef so was very nice! All in all, the food was good! I especially liked the tuna bowl which I turned into a salmon bowl and the lobster! It was a bit pricey but I expect that from a restaurant at a hotel and connected to the airport. read more

Food is ok - everything is overpriced (same as everything else at the airport) but you really hate paying it when the bartenders are terrible. This guy and gal moaned and complained about clocking in at work, did not ask what I wanted to eat, just stood over me waiting, and they def did NOT ask how the food tasted. Dessert, not a chance. They did ask if they could borrow my dessert menu for someone else. I wouldn't say don't try it - it's super convenient- but don't expect good service. Dining options when you stay at the Westin. It was late evening and we had an overnight stay so decided to grab a bite here instead of a rideshare to town. We were able to get a table quick without a reservations and our server quickly took our orders. Drinks : espresso martini was good but needed a lil baileys , so the bartender fixed it up and it was perfect. Food: shared a Waygu Burger medium well with fries and it was also delicious dining area is spacious and open with tables ,booths and a bar near the entrance. it was nice , clean and quiet with patrons and lil jazz music playing in the overhead speakers. Loved the lobster roll so much that suggested this place for another lunch meeting. I ordered it again but this time with truffle fries. My friend had the tuna melt with salad and another the French dip with truffle fries. A beet salad and a dish I can't remember rounded us off. My lobster roll and truffle fries were fantastic. So good. Need another. The French dip didn't live up to her standards as the meat she felt was more suited to taco meat and not a French dip. She did like the truffle fries. I dine here when I come through to Denver on business. Pros: located on the ground floor of the Westin Hotel. It's convenient and the ambiance is bright and airy. The menu is varied and there is a nice wine list with some cocktails offered. Cons: it wouldn't hurt for the servers to crack a smile and exude better customer service skills, especially the older, short blond haired female server. Most of the time I come in, she looks half constipated and angry. Relax. Smile. Be approachable. Put in the effort to have a conversation. She is NOT friendly in the slightest. How she works with the general public boggles my mind. A glass of wine ranges from $16-21; a smoked old fashioned is $24. Quite overpriced. You could buy a bottle of the same wine for a lot less than what they charge you for a glass. The pan seared halibut I had just 2 weeks ago (8/22/25) was absolutely delicious. Light, delicate, and the veloute was flavorful. I decided to have the same dish again today (9/5/25). Unfortunately, the veloute was dark yellow in color compared to a creamy white from two weeks prior. The flavor of the sauce was lacking. The fish, though cooked perfectly, lacked actual seasoning. I had to add black pepper, salt, and even went so far as to ask for a side of chimichurri. For $45, I expected BETTER. And what I really expected was the same wonderful flavors I experienced from two weeks ago. It's the same dish for the same price. Why did the sauce change, and why was it BLAND?! The chefs need to taste prior to sending dishes out and keep things consistent. Today's halibut was disappointing. read more

Caprese Pizza sounded just right. Sadly, the toppings and sauces created an actual pool of liquid in the center and under the pizza, so the crust in the middle was raw. The flavor was good, I just couldn't get over it being crust surrounding pizza soup. Wife got the steak, thinking she was going light. It was a whole good sized ribeye, thick sliced, covering the entire salad. Unusual to complain about a large steak, but it was just not appropriate for a dinner salad. She shared some with me (there was a lot to share) and personally I didn't care for the chimichurri topping. Shared a side of Brussel sprouts. I do not taste any pesto (maybe they forgot it) The bacon is crispy the way I like it but it does taste old. It's definitely not fresh bacon. The did stop serving breakfast at 11 am and I showed up and ordered at 10:51 am. So I'm sure I just got the back end of breakfast. The sandwich was good. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled but luckily for us we found this great spot for dinner. We were instantly greeted by the host and seated right away. He was very welcoming and no judgment as we came in with the clothes we wore for the flight which is not the most upscale. Our waiter Brian, greeted us and made some recommendations. We decided on the G&V Brussel Sprouts, Caesar salad, and the Steak Pomme. Brian was kind enough to parse out our meal. The Caesar salad was larger than you would expect and was not overly dressed. Very flavorful for a salad. The Brussel Sprouts were very good, and had just the right amount of bite to them, but also perfect seasoning. The main course was Steak Pomme and it was cooked to the perfect temp we requested of Medium Rare. The steak was lightly seasoned which allowed the flavor of the meat to come through. It was paired with a Chimichurri sauce to dip in and laid on top of the outstanding horseradish mouse cheese sauce. I was very impressed with our meal as usually hotel dinners our subpar and not flavorful, but the chef and team at Grill and Vine knocked it out of the park. read more

Forget about Snooze, Grill & Vine is a better brunch spot! The one we visited is inside the Westin by the Denver International Airport and there was hardly any wait. So with the line and wait time so long at Snooze, I could've driven here, be seated and be finished before my table is ready at Snooze. Lol, while that's not realistic, you get my feeling. And what's not to like about the vibes? Grill & Vine here has gotten a great view of the airport canopy and depending on where you're seated, as in my case, the mirror on my back not only lists their other locations but reflects Pena Blvd that I'm sure if this was summer time, it'd be all green. I adored my Savory Crepe dish, it had so much stuffing the thinness of the crepe is accentuated thus make it melt in the mouth. This is a meal for two (either two people or two meals!) We ordered a pizza and the twice cooked wings. Both were good, nicely prepared. The wings were delicious with plenty of Buffalo sauce. Mediocre wine list. Sitting at the bar at the Grill & Vine is always a pleasure. Craft cocktails and extensive wine list. The dinner menu is excellent. I just enjoyed the Wednesday special: scallops with mashed potatoes. Perfectly broiled and finished with a delicious chipotle sauce. Complements to the chef!! If you get stuck at DIA for weather delays, the Westin on the field is first class. I always look forward to staying here and enjoying a meal at the Grill & Vine! Was in town overnight attending a meeting. Have a friend in the Denver area who drove in to meet me at the hotel - I was on limited time. We decided to just stay at the hotel and had dinner at Grill and Vine. I cannot comment on the slowness of service - it was actually quite fast the night we dined here (Fri night). The hotel itself is beautiful and the restaurant was open and airy which was lovely! We started with drinks - an old fashion and a forest frosted gimlet. I had the gimlet - a little sweet but overall tasty. I'm a sucker for rosemary in my gin drinks so this hit the spot. For dinner - we started with the Brussels appetizer. It was delicious. For main course - I had the salmon citrus salmon. I asked for a medium cook on the salmon but it came out well done. The dressing served with it was interesting - not bad but also not outstanding. My friend got the beet salad with shrimp and chicken and I was actually a little envious The shrimp were huge and looked delicious. The fried goat cheese balls looked amazing as well! What a lovely restaurant at Denver Airport. I had a huge Club sandwich on a delicious Dutch crunch roll. Lots of meat, plus some coleslaw, bacon etc on sandwich. Very tasty and fresh. My companions were very happy with their beet salad, French dip and Hamburger. We ordered a side of onion rings because they no longer give you the option of ordering onion rings with your sandwich as a side. Previous reviews raved about the onion rings. They were just okay and not worth $14. Sandwiches etc average $22. Totally reasonable. Especially at this nice and relaxing restaurant, compared to the chaos of the airport. I came here for breakfast. I have no picture of food because I did not plan on reviewing the place. I ordered Eggs Benedict with salmon. To the chef that makes decisions on food items, it would be better for the salmon to be in the form of slices please. Salmon was chopped, like when one has crab meat in crab cakes. How can you be in a high-end hotel, charge high-end prices for your restaurant, but not deliver high-end quality . I ordered the scallops with spinach and it came with gnocchi. They replaced the meal, but it took half an hour. On both sides of me neither P person eat their meal and complained among us. 1 star given for the beet salad, which was really good! Day 1 - The host sat me down at 12:15pm. At about 12:45pm I realized not one person had shown up or offered me water or a menu. Servers and bussers walked by several times and made eye contact with me, and still nothing. There was one other party in the restaurant (a family of 4) and me. No one else was here and I still wasn't acknowledged. I jumped on my Bonvoy app to see if I could at least order food that way, but you can't place a to-go order on your app. As I was walking out, the hostess saw me and I said "It's been 45 mins and no one has come by" and all she could say was "Oh." lol As I was walking out, I stopped at the bar and just asked the bartender if I can order a few things to go. He was probably the nicest one out of the whole lot of them and he did apologize, but it wasn't his fault. I'm not sure why I even decided to go back the next day, but there aren't many choices when you're staying at that Westin, so there we were again... Day 2 - I learned my lesson from the first day and decided to walk by and order food to take back to my room. The hostess was very kind and said that I could go to the bar, order food, and hang out while I was waiting. Fair enough. I went to the bar, sat at the end, and again... 3 bartenders, 2 of them looked my way, 0 of them came by to even say hello and get my order. Even the gentleman next to me asked if I wanted him to get someone for me. I was pretty over it at that point.... I didn't wait as long as I did the day before. I ordered my food at the host stand, then decided to go to Tivoli Tap House to wait at their bar for my food. The crew at Tivoli was way cooler and I actually had a great time at the bar! I almost regretted not going there first before wasting my time at Grill & Vine. Lesson learned! ** Side note ** Just to be funny, I took photos of my empty water glass to send to a friend and I totally forgot that they're time-stamped. I did a takeout order and the service was great, everyone was nice and helpful. The restaurant was pretty empty but seemed nice. However, the food was mediocre. I got the bacon burger and there was a toothpick in it, not on the top sticking out to hold the burger together but literally inside for me to discover when I bit into it after 5-6 bites. Did not enjoy that and the burger was way to thick and the flavors were too much. Don't bother upgrading your fries for $3 because it's not worth it. They come out the same basically. The Caesar salad was the only redeeming food from my order and that's sad considering you can't really mess up lettuce and Caesar dressing. Felt sick after eating the burger. read more

Jay aka Tom was amazing!!!! He has crickets--I'll explain shortly. Can't say enough positive things about him, the rest of the staff, and the food. The location and ambiance were perfect. Recently stayed at the Westin for a short weekend in Denver and visited the Grill & Vine twice. Our party was welcomed immediately by Jay upon approaching the door of the restaurant. He immediately sat us and then continued to check on us to ensure we had everything we needed even though Johnny, our server, was taking great care of us. Jay had a great sense of humor! On the second visit we sat at the bar and I believed I was hearing crickets chirping and kept looking around to find the source of the noise. After a few times of looking around he finally started laughing and had been playing the noise from his phone. We laughed and joked about it and I said wait for my yelp review! He said my name is Tom and covered his name tag (Jay). He is a great asset to this restaurant and that establishment. This place is amazing. I started with the mussels, and the garnish was like nothing I've had! So tasty and fresh, and they had tiny strips of bacon in the muscles! Wow! So good Then I had the pork chop which was the best I've ever had in my 60 years. Perfect! Totally order this. The next morning I had the breakfast burrito which was fresh hot and SO tasty! They guy next to me had the avocado toast which looked incredible! Totally getting that next time. Service both tines were 100% spot on. Couldn't be better. I've eaten here a couple of times while staying at the Westin it's connected to. I expected it to be a sub-par restaurant as most hotel ones are but this place is really great. I call down to put my order in and the woman who I spoke to was super friendly and nice. My food finished really quickly and they have an easy process to pick it up. Even the guy working there was awesome! I had the mile high club with onion rings. Both were delicious and the portion was much bigger than I expected. I recommend this restaurant and will be back next time I'm at the hotel. read more

Invigorating view of Ned Kahn's "Field of Air" thru their large window panes. Spacious and bright is their bar and dining room of tables and booths. An early dinner of delicious "Chive Dressing" on fresh greens; overcooked and sour side of veggies; and, yummy "Colorado Peach Cobbler". Good location, reliable choice. Grill and Vine was a great spot to treat my friend to lunch when she met me during my extended layover at the airport. She was able to park right in the garage on west side and come up to meet me at the restaurant which was very easy to find. The location also made it very easy for me to walk right back across the street and through security. She had the French dip steak sandwich and I had a burger - both of which tasted good. We also had salad and fries to share and a coffee to go. Our server was quite busy but really took the time to give us a pleasant experience which was appreciated! Our total for the two of us was about $66, so do plan to put extra cash in your wallet. I would eat here again - reliable and satisfied! read more

I stayed at the Westin to ease the pain of a 5am departure the following day, and was pleased with my meal at Grill & Vine. Went with the standard burger which was delicious and a sparkling rose. Service was quick and generally pleasant, and the restaurant itself is nice. If you've got a long layover and choose to leave the secure area, this is a good option - you can enjoy your meal, and then hang around in DIA's outdoor lounge area until it's time to head back through security. read more

Hardworking staff members, clean environment, typical overpriced 'airport prices'. $20 burger was one of the cheaper options. As I sat at the bar I watched Julie, who had taken great care of me, battle rude and impatient customers who were ordering To Go one after another.
