Definitely one of the best meat restaurants I've ever been to. The food is not only delicious but presented beautifully. Special attention is given to scallion and sesame seed garnishes (yum). Delicious! Great food and service. We had two sandwiches and they were both very tasty. The Jerusalem mix and rib eye wrap are excellent. The mix had a hummus at the bottom of the pita that was really good. Meat was juicy and tender. Get the salad instead of the fries. They are good, but standard restaurant fries. read more

Big thanks to Yasin the manager and Remsey our server for being so professional and kind to us and our furry babies! My friend and I came with our pups for dinner yesterday as they are our kids and we bring them everywhere. This is a kosher place with a lot of religious people so me feeding her directly from my fork was complained about to the restaurant's staff. Yasin was very professional in handling the situation and as we are both also Jewish we immediately understood. It's just something that I always do and don't even think about. It went completely automatically. But Yasin approached us very kindly so I obviously immediately stopped doing that and just cut her pieces of lamb (yes, we always order them food from the menu too) and put them directly on her plate and let her eat from the floor. If he would have approached us differently that would have been the end of it and we would have never come back. Because, again, to me she is not my dog, she's my child. But he did it very kindly and we both really appreciated that! And thank God because the food was DELICIOUS and we definitely want to come back soon! Thank you! read more

I really enjoyed my dinner here at Grill House. I came with my sister all the way from Coral Gables and got the Butcher Cut. It was tender and perfectly cooked. They give you some appetizers on the house with some warm pita and a bunch of sides with your main dish. They were very kind and the service was great. One star is too many. Terrible terrible unprofessional customer service. Food mediocre at best. Placed order for delivery....they messed up order....told me it would be an hour before they could fix it...or they could give me a "credit" at the restaurant (which I have no intent of returning to) but they wouldn't refund my credit card. Then they actually tried to negotiate a partial refund for the item they messed up instead of a full credit for the item they only partially delivered. Save your money and go else where. I am visiting from Israel, I took my daughter and a good friend, who are both studying at UM, out to dinner. I was so embarrassed because this place has some of the worst customer service I have ever received. It took about 30 minutes for the waitress to approach us to greet us, offer us water or take our order. We placed our order and the waitress got it completely wrong. Two drinks were forgotten. Our appetizer was never ordered. And the side dishes for the overly priced main courses were not brought to our table. I attempted to get our waitresses' (the only one on duty) attention but she did not glance our way. Finally, embarrassed because I was feeding two hungry UM students (one of which was a guy!) I got up to speak to who looked like the manager. Alon (the manager) was busy counting the cash drawer instead of helping the overwhelmed waitress. The waitress did NOT check in on us once. The final straw was when the bill came (not cheap!) We ordered two meals (my daughter and I split one) and one appetizer and it came to over $100..... and 18% tip was automatically calculated in. I am a huge tipper when the service is good; however, for a party of three people, gratuity should NOT be calculated in. I went back to Alon, the manager, to tel him how disappointed I was. Immediately, Alon, became very defensive with excuse after excuse, which frankly I did not care to hear. I don't care if the restaurant was short staffed - that is their problem - not mine. Alon became condescending, rude, disrespectful. He was so busy TALKING that he did not LISTEN. Considering how expensive this meal was, the customer service should have been much better. The kicker was the Alon kept saying the restaurant has been open for 8 years and is still there and that should be the proof that it is good ..... frankly, I don't care if it has been opened for decades. I will NEVER return to the Grill House on 41st, Miami Beach. I would rather take the extra 30 minutes drive it is and go to Waterways where there are several Kosher options with much better service. read more

The worse service EVER!! Waited a good 30-45 minutes for water and had to asked 4-5 times. I asked for hot sauce 3 times and never got it! The food was pretty good, but don't see myself going back to endure that kind of frustration. Also the food portion does not fit the price tag. I went here twice in a week. Most importantly, I thought the filet mignon was very good - delicate and succulent. The mashed potatoes were a little thick, and the rice was mediocre, but the sauteed green beans were surprisingly good - especially for someone who is not generally a green beans fan. The pita bread was fresh, hot and delicious, and it came with pretty good accompanying small salads. It's nice enough that you can take a client here, and they are open relatively late. Service was pretty good. The tip is assessed previously, even for an individual. They are probably the nicest kosher meat restaurant in South Miami Beach, south of the 70th. read more

Hands down the best steak house in Miami! Being from New York I found it very hard to find an authentic Israeli/Middle Eastern steak house that has great cuts of meat, great service and an expansive menu to choose from. The sushi here is out of this world as well. I would of never thought that a restaurant can have it all from steaks to sushi to Asian inspired dishes and everything be blockbuster. We came to this restaurant a couple nights ago because of a recommendation from a friend who usually has very good judgement. I have to admit, the food wasn't too bad, but the service! First, as we walked into the restaurant we noticed the waitresses were too busy standing around the back of the restaurant chit chatting that they didn't even notice we were there. A young man was cleaning a table a few feet from where we were standing, but he seemed to intentionally ignore our presence as well. When we were finally led to our table by one of the young ladies, we were left there for at least 10 minutes as it seemed that nobody had any interest in offering us drinks, or any recommendations. My friends even commented that they felt as if they were doing us a huge favor in serving us at all. We thought about getting up and walking out, but decided to give it a chance. While our server seemed pleasant enough, we felt as if we were keeping her away from more important things. She stood there very impatiently and had very little to say as we asked if there were any recommendations or special dishes to recommend. When asked about any special offerings she simply shoved a crumpled piece of paper in front of us and said "Here are the specials". Okay! As I said, the food wasn't too bad. We started with sushi as an appetizer. Boy was that was a mistake! I guess we should have known better than to order sushi at a kosher steakhouse. HORRIBLE! But the worst part of the meal was having to ask the busser every time we needed a refill on our drinks, or anything for that matter, because every time we looked for our waitress she was either standing in the corner of the restaurant staring deeply into her cellphone, or she was nowhere in sight. We're not too sure who was managing this place, It wasn't very clear to us that there was any manager at all, had anyone ever bothered to check on us throughout our meal I certainly would have let them know. The problem is nobody really seemed to care. Not sure how this place stays in business. For what we paid for our dinner we expected a different experience altogether. Here's another long review - read the last line for my summary. I'd like to start off by saying I am an amateur cook and love trying out all the kosher restaurants when I travel. I ordered aged rib eye (40$ or so) Wife ordered thai beef salad (17$ or so) I feel like every city has a restaurant like Grill House, just by tasting the steak I can tell that it's cooked by someone who can't be fired. (owner/family) The cut of steak and quality of the meat was great and all you had to do was sprinkle some kosher salt and crack some pepper. Having salt and pepper shakers on the table will not work, you need the salt so flavour the meat while on the grill. Secondly, the french fries were cold and stale. Damn it because the fries tasted great. In your photos I see you have heat lamps over prepared fries. Come on... It takes a minute to fry them. Wife's meal has horrible. Again the same story, had some fresh ingredients but was ruined by execution. Firstly, never use canned mandarins. Secondly, dressing was watery, just add oil and blend creamy and this dish will be 100x better. Also the rice bowl we received was stale (hard rice on top). Probably sitting in the back since the 5 pm prep for service. In all, ok service, ingredients good, food is surprisingly BAD. Too bad, it had potential. Don't bother. read more

My wife and i dined here on vacation. It was the only kosher restaurant close by where we were staying, and let me say the whole experience was TERRIBLE!!!
