I'm going to start with the service. Ally, our server was amazing. Very attentive, nice, helpful and always looking to make me and my husband have good experience. She's a 5 stars server. Ambience was enjoyable and everyone we encountered was happy. Food was delicious. We had the 20oz Bone-in Ribeye steak with a 4 oz lobster tail and it was cooked to perfection, and flavor was perfect too. Everything else we had was great and delicious. I took a star back because the Blooming onion was too greasy and had a little extra spices. Although it was flavorful, we just got to a point that we had to stop because we felt the spices a little strong. And honestly I would take half a star back. My kid wanted to check out an Outback for the first time so we ended up here. I'm not a huge fan but it's been a minute since I've had a bloomin onion. Hot tip: if you join their mailing list they give you a bloomin onion free on your next visit. The free bread is always solid. The bloomin onion was over fried and kinda off burnt but we ate it. We also had the potato soup and it was edible. My wife ordered the Coconut shrimp with sweet potato and she ended up having to send it back because one of the shrimp tasted rancid. They were really nice and sent out another full order. The sweet potato looks like it had been hacky sacked in the back before making it to the plate. I had the burger and felt the bread was stale and needed seasoning. My kid had chicken tenders and fries and those were good. Overall it was ok there were hiccups but management and service staff were nice. Food quality needs improvement. read more

My friend and I came by after a 5K to get the viral koala drink (#missionaccomplished) The drink - a blend of Absolut, Bailey's and Kahlua - was pretty strong. Maybe that's why I'm not feeling so sore after the race lol Though we tried some bites at the race, I was still a little hungry. I ordered their Alice Springs chicken with sides of fries and loaded baked potato, substituting out their honey mustard sauce for bbq. We also thought we ordered their blooming onion as an app but apparently it was not entered in the system. My main course consisted of a chicken breast with melted cheese and bacon strips, and it was actually pretty tasty, especially when augmented with barbecue sauce, but maybe a little on the small side. The baked potato was sizable and loaded as well, and the plate was mostly crispy fries. I did get sides to go. The restaurant space itself looked clean and pretty lively, and there was also plenty of free parking as the restaurant is in a shopping plaza undergoing redevelopment. read more

Ahhh-mazing!!! Can you believe I have never been to an Outback Steakhouse? For my first time, I went with a group of friends to make sure I was having all the classics! To start, we ordered the gingerbread lattes! It was a season drink for the holiday season and it came with a cute koala to keep! We ordered the blooming onion and they served it with their signature bread which was outstanding. I really enjoyed both! For my meal, I ordered their special where you get three courses for a decent and affordable price. I went with the mid-range menu to get their sirloin steak and it was delicious! All in all, I had a great time and really loved the food. The staff was super friendly but they were very busy so it did take awhile to get some of the items. We visited late in the afternoon on a weekday. We were able to order from the lunch menu, which runs, I think, until 3:30. My mom and I both ordered the steak option, which includes one side for the price of $14.99. We were both pleased with the quality and the preparation of the steak. Truly a great value given Miami restaurant prices. I ordered the steamed broccoli and a side of fries with my steak, and it turned out to be a great choice. My mom also ordered a large beer for $6!! Walked in and the ambiance here wasnt as fancy feeling as othrr outbacks. I started with the blooming onion which was far too greasy. I couldn't get through more than a few bites before it started to bother my stomach. I then tried the French onion soup, which was unusually sweet for some reason, and the Caesar salad was heavily drenched in dressing. I love Outback steaks, so this time I decided to switch it up and try the tuna and it was delicious. Had I realized it came with a full side salad, I would've chosen something different. Overall, the main entree was great, but the sides were meh, and the wait time was incredibly long for a lunch break. Because of that, I'm giving this visit 3 stars. read more

I am not a fan of chains and i am taking into consideration that this restaurant location just opened. The service needs to be polished because we ordered potato soups (good) but no spoons brought with the plates. Some people got their appetizers while others had to wait. The bread and blooming onion was good. The coconut shrimps were fried too dark (but because service was off they brought complimentary extra shrimp plate to the table). The wedge salad was a big portion but there was no love serving it as it looked unappetizing. We were a party of 6 (3 couples) and we had a long wait while the staff separated the checks. While he took the order, he plopped some empty cups from another table, as he keyed in the order. WTF? Food was delivered by a runner. Son asked for more of the "Bloomin Sauce" which was a bit much for the runner to handle. Disappeared never to be seen again. Asked hostess that was walking by for the sauce. Language barrier, she ended up bringing some other sauce, we guessed ranch (white vs orange bloomin). Asked another waitress for sauce; as our server was nowhere to be found. She came back with yet another sauce, still not the right one. Eventually got the right one on 3rd try. Server comes around finally and we asked for refills on soda. Disappears, no soda. Mgr walking by seeing the empty cups, offers to get refills. We are done with the food, leaving some on the plates as parts were not edible. Server comes by to clean up, in order to get organized, puts some dirty plates in front of me from another table, as he starts to assemble the Jenga tower of plates from 2 different tables. Now we are on vacation, so I am in a more mellow mood, so wife gives me the "look" and I keep my mouth shut. Summary: Dont open the restaurant without proper training and mgr should watch the staff like a hawk at this point. I dont recommend coming here until they have been open for a few months and get their act together. read more

I have been to this location twice and both times have been a fail. This last visit they served the ribs so spicy I had to return them. Then they ran out of more ribs in the middle of the day. They offered a filet mignon instead for $33 which was tiny, ice cold and hard. The salad had so much blue cheese dressing it was soggy. The waiter no where to be found at times. The entree's where very good, the bread was warm but not fresh like most Outback's. The salads need a lot of work, there was several pieces of wilted lettuce, lacked a decent amount of onions and cucumber. Being new the service is still a work in progress with follow up. I often dine out with my daughter on average twice a week. I had a rough Monday and decided to dine by myself. I usually do not mind dining by myself but it can be awkward. YOUR staff was amazing! From the hostess to servers to all those that walked by and checked in on me. Kudos! The Kendall locations should take notice. This is how it's suppose to be. Jarred, Penelope, Layla, Maidelys and Cedric (Manager) are at the top of their game.
