This place is close to a lot of offices downtown so I met up with my partner here for lunch. Service was very quick and efficient. We shared one combo platter since it was lunch and we didn't care to bring back leftovers for later. The one platter was enough for both of us. The food was very flavorful and the meat was juicy. You can order online or at a kiosk inside the restaurant, but trying to get gluten-free options requires ordering in person. Even then, it does not always seem they know what that means. Sometimes, I get the kabob without bread and others without the dressing on the salad, so you have to talk to them to ensure they get it right. I brought this up to him, but he wouldn't refund it even with the price right above his head proving him wrong. He got angry, yelled, and accused me of cheating him. By the time we ate, I looked at our receipt again. He had left out the two samosas we ordered. Over the years, I've probably been here 10 times...and have only eaten one dish: the chicken koobidah plate. It's easily the sleeper item of the menu as most everyone is here for the grilled chicken. "My" dish is a made-to-order kabob of ground chicken, spices, turmeric (?), and jalapeño. For a late night grub in the weekend after clubbing, it's kind of hard to bear this place especially when everything else nearby is closed. And yes - I had only one item. The menu goes up to #12 and it's really more extensive than that since my lamb kabob wrap is actually #15 and can be had - hinting that there's a larger menu out of sight somewhere. The lamb kabob here blew the one I had in Union Market a bit earlier out of the water in both portion and flavor. The lamb kabob here consisted of chargrilled chunks of lamb meat, and had that smokey char flavor that comes with being grilled on an open fire. With basic veggies in the wrap, it was heaven enough for me for a quick bite. There are two sauces - labeled white and spicy (green). You can order at the counter and there is also a kiosk near the entrance. We opted to use the kiosk to order our food. We ordered one chicken samosa, one veggie samosa, one curry platter, one gyro platter, and one lassi. The food was seasoned pretty well, and portions were very generous. We were stuffed by the end. One thing that could be improved is adding a description of what is included in each dish on the kiosk.
