We ordered two different appetizers starting with beef empanadas and salchipapas (Fries and sausage) and both were delicious! I always enjoy a crispy empanada that's soft and flavor packed on the inside some places just don't get it right but Mi Case does a good job. The salchipapas was new to me but nothing exotic yet so flavorful i never imagined i'd eat fries and sausage this way but I enjoyed it! For our main course my gf had the mini paisa plate that took a little longer than expected to come out but looked and tasted amazing when it did. I had the traditional steak plate with my steak being served to me on a hot plate with some of the best cuts i've ever eaten it was well seasoned and juicy. On the side i had two eggs which i ate over the steak and tostones which might've been my favorite pick there. Overall we left with full bellies and leftovers! For the food quality i'd say the price is fair. Service is well on the good side and if you dine in expect slightly longer wait times for main courses as they bring you A LOT of food!

The prices were reasonable and the food was ready on time. The person was friendly. The nachos had fresh lettuce and that's about it. Had canned cheese sauce, not queso sauce. The red salsa, pico de gallo and guacamole all tasted like the stuff that comes in a jar or sealed plastic container at the grocery store. The meatless meat might have been gardein. It wasn't Impossible Meat or Beyond Meat. The portion on the "meat" was generous but the toppings were sparse. There was a 3oz black to go container of each. There was supposed to be shredded cheese but I only found a couple pieces. I had to add my own toppings when I got home. Wife says there didn't seem to be shredded cheese in her burrito either. Said it was bland.

Upon arrival, they had separated the group into different tables even tho there was plenty of room to add on 2 more tables, or create an L shape to keep everyone together. Romaine lettuce, diced chicken, red onions, diced tomatoes, avocado, bleu cheese crumbles, and a hard-boiled egg. The menu stated all salads come with house croutons, but there were no croutons on the salad. I didn't want the croutons, so for me this was fine, but it was either an oversight when my salad was made or a false statement on the menu. The avocado was so under ripened it was chewy, however the salad portions were large and I had enough leftover for a side salad with my dinner. The lettuce was fresh, everything was chopped proportionately so each bite you had all the flavors together. It was a good salad overall. Most of the others in the group had similar comments about their food. Something off a bit but as a whole their meal was good. Chris' Family Restaurant is currently rated at a 4.7 on my Beli. I think their food is worth a drop in, especially for lunch, however they could just use more stability and structure on the hospitality end.
