Breakfast twice, lunch once, and I can't wait to go again! Great eggs, grits, huge biscuits, thick crunchy bacon, all the things that make a late lazy breakfast even better. Perfect sweet tea, kept full by my very friendly and efficient waitresses. Great value for low cost! A variety at lunch, which I can't wait to try more. I actually had a tasty beef gyro, with a cucumber sauce, but Grill Worx has a good selection of sandwiches, burgers, plates, etc, which I'm not yet experienced enough to comment since I usually don't have a group with me reporting their tastebuds' sensations of a variety of dishes when I eat here. I've seen kids here, and they're pretty family friendly. Can't wait to take nephews and siblings when they visit, for sure. Plenty of parking, easy access, and they place "to go" orders via phone and in person. Classic grill/diner options with some extra items available too. Decided to stop by Grill Worx on our way home from Tangier Outlet. Although the building was nothing fancy and the inside had obviously seen better days, the welcoming atmosphere and the delicious food surpassed our expectations. I had the mushroom swiss burger w bacon and black eye peas as my side. My husband had the regular cheeseburger w sweet potato waffle fries. The burgers were juicy and cooked to our specifications and the sides were fresh and seasoned well. Our waitress Lauren greeted us with a smile and a little conversation (love that!). Delicious Breakfast with a Friendly Staff. The only downside is that a lot of the tables/chairs and things need replaced or repaired. We still go back because it's a delicious meal for a low price, but it is kind of a DIVE Mom & Pop place. read more

My wife and I are regulars, and the staff remembers our drink order as soon as we walk in. Best breakfast in town and the Grillworx by her is the bomb. Wife loves the chicken and dumplings and the pork tenderloin sandwich is wonderful! The ladies are nice, friendly and fast! read more

I gave it one star because I have eaten here several times in the past and the food is good. However, the last time I was there (a year ago now) we saw a bug crawling out of the napkin holder and the waitress we pointed it out to just took the holder away. No "sorry", no surprise that it was there (we were pretty sure it was a roach). I suppose this could happen anywhere, anytime but her reaction and lack of concern made me feel like it wasn't the first time it happened there. Will not let you order a child's plate to go. My family and I have been going to grill worx for several years at least once a week if not more. However, on Saturday, August 10th they refused to sell me a child's plate to go (said it was the owners policy). My dad and I had planned on eating at the restaurant and then ordering plates to take to my mom and child. It is very unfortunate that the owners would rather lose money ($40- $150)on a weekly basis form good costumers and their friends who will not be returning then serve child's plates to go (which would have cost about $5 or less). I don't have to say a lot here because this place speaks for itself!! We've been going to this little place for several months now and have NEVER had a bad meal or experience. We usually visit two to three times a week. They have been very friendly and attentive from the first day we walked in. The food is good and the service is excellent!! The food is priced reasonably also. I'm sorry to see the poor reviews since I have to believe what they experienced was an anomaly. If you're looking for a place that has great food, service and atmosphere than I would definitely recommend you give Grill Worx a try, I don't believe you'll be disappointed in the least! read more

Went there for breakfast around lunchtime today. It was very busy when we got there but we got lucky when a booth opened right in front of where we were standing and the departing customer gestured for us to come over, as we were about to take one of the tiny two seater tables against the wall. Since it is seat yourself, we did just that, and settled into the booth instead. Evidently we pissed off one of the regulars that was too busy socializing to notice the open booth and she whined about it up front for 15 minutes until another booth opened. We really didn't even see anyone else waiting or we wouldn't have "stolen" the booth but since she was a regular and we were first-timers, we were treated rudely by the first waitress that came over, who ended up being a friend of hers. She was very abrupt with us and didn't even say a word (hello would have been nice) as she cleaned the table off. Thankfully, we had another waitress serve us. She was very pleasant. I ordered the eggs benedict "Grill Worx style" because it was served on a croissant instead of english muffin. The ham on it was fatty and gross but the rest was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, hash browns, and mac & cheese. Hash browns were undercooked, mac & cheese was meh, but he liked the steak. The hash browns that came with mine were good to me. He ate my fruit and liked it. We split one pancake and it was awesome. We also ordered a single plain biscuit and he liked it but I wasn't impressed. It is a charming little place, nothing fancy, but we aren't fancy people. It was reasonably priced, about $20 for everything and we did order a lot. The waitress offered us to-go drinks, which is always nice. He gave it 5 starts out of 10 but I would give it 7 of 10 because I like little greasy spoon places like this and even though some of our food was sub-par, some was REALLY good, so that bumps it up a bit. Grill Worx food is always plentiful, tasty and reliable. The Chicken and Dumplings and Southwestern Omelet are the best!

Second time my wife and I have eaten here for lunch. The food and portions are better than average. Biggest complaint is the servers are not managed properly and spend more time talking and laughing among themselves than taking care of customers. I understand that many of these servers are high school kids but they should spend their time with customers and not counting tips and talking among themselves. read more

Customer service - lacking - ordered breakfast - asked for a hash brown with it - it was so salty I had to spit it out - I asked if it could be remade - I was told that they come that way - I said it was so bad I had to spit it out - I was told I must have gotten a bad one and no one else every complained (I wasn't complaining I was stating a fact) - Never offered another one and was charged for the nasty one I was served. Seriously people - that hash brown probably cost you a quarter - your bad service cost you a customer - I am in absolutely no hurry to come back. If I spend $20 on breakfast (which is just eggs and toast) and you can't solve a problem with a quarter item - you don't deserve my hard earned money - and yes I still tipped your waitress who is lacking in customer service skills. read more

This place is epic for breakfast time. It's really popular with the elderly set and it kind of looks like it might have started its life as a garage but don't let that deter you. Their hash browns ares unreal, biscuits are perfect and pretty much anything you get in terms of breakfast is perfect. Enjoy! read more

Went in for breakfast, got seated and waited for 15 minutes. No one came by to offer us coffee, give us a menu or take our order. It was like they were intentionally ignoring us. We got up and walked out and no server gave us a second thought. I will never go there again. Horrible service! read more
