I love me some Grilla. Great spot for lunch or dinner, especially if you are out and about shopping for some antiques. I love the soup and sandwich combos served with veggies or chips and house made hummus - so garlicky and fresh! I also go for their wheat grass shots when I'm feeling a little glum. Oh, they have an amazing wild salmon burger with garlic aoili and spinach. The restaurant's decor isn't my fave, but I can get past that! :) Stop by for some healthy comfort food! wow, we ate here on Saturday, not wanting greasy fish and hamburgers...we got a really good healthy bison burger and tofu burger. Organic organic organic fare, great salad bar and awesome prices. Its kinda hard to find and next to some Thai place (which all seem to taste the same in Seattle). They use organic blue chips and serve gluten free bread and desserts....that is a rarity but gluten doesnt bother me. Dont have kids but they offer organic kid friendly items too (the organic PBJ was tempting) Parking on Saturday was atrocious, but it's free unlike most cities. So if you want healthy food in the snohomish area, definately go here. If you want grease, sticky tables and fat...dont go here. read more

Good homemade organic lunch fare. I recently went and had a cup of tortilla soup and half a turkey sandwich. The portions are very big. The half sandwich was very much similar to a whole. It was stuffed with meat and vegetables. The cup of soup was a large cup. Some reviewers complain about the price, but you get a lot for what you pay for. I generally prepare food like this for myself, but when I am in a hurry, I am thankful that Grilla Bites is there so I can get some healthy food on the run. read more

The Best Place for eating Healthy in this town! I can't eat dairy and they have nondairy ice cream bars that are sooo good (Coconut Bliss brand). That alone makes it a treat for me to go there. Live in town and see Grilla Bites every time my Wife and I go to Little House of Light on First Street. Although we had never stopped in, there was always traffic in and out of Grilla Bites. Finally while we were down there on a beautiful April afternoon and stopped in. The staff? Very personable, very friendly. My Wife had the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado 1/2 sandwich and the split pea soup. I had the Turkey and Cranberry 1/2 sandwich and broccoli and cheese soup. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. One thing I was quite pleased with, was they do not bury the natural flavors in salt. If you want salt, you have the option of adding some, rather than already having more salt than you would wish. Definitely plan on going back and trying the Bison Burger. I LOVE Bison and to finally find a local restaurant that serves it made me so Happy. I have seen people saying "bland" and understand their meaning, but it is simply a lack of salt. And lets face it, sodium is one of the major ingredients in Processed foods, so it is refreshing to not be inundated with it here. A DEFINITE recommendation for friends and family!!! read more

One of my favorite haunts in downtown Snohomish. The staff is always friendly and happy to be there; it is such a fun environment. I also love the variety and quality of the food. They have wonderful, fresh, homemade soups daily and their sandwiches are out of this world! This is a great place to snag a quick and cheap lunch without compromising quality and friendliness. I live close-by and have wanted to go here for a long time. My first visit was my LAST! My friend and I placed our order, an item that was no longer on the menu, but she had eaten last summer. The owner herself agreed to make it and we reviewed the ingredients with her as I am vegan and we both have allergies. They were out of soy milk and the owner seemed pushy for my friend to try another milk. Almost like she didnt believe her allergies or preferences to what she likes. We were eating our wrap and one of us realized it tasted like cheese. When I asked the cashier, she called over the owner and she.confirmed she put cheese in it even though it only supposed to be hummus. She offered to remake it and we agreed. Durring this time she came over and half heartedly apologized, we let her know I am vegan and that we are both highly allergic to milk. We asked for the food to go as we didnt want to be sick away from home. She told us to "call later if we felt really sick she could compensate with a free lunch" REALLY!? I felt we should have been offered our money back right then. Why should I have to call you later to tell you about our diarrhea, headaches, stomach pain and frustration of unknowingly consuming a animal product served at a restaurant claiming to be friendly to vegans, vegetarians & allergies! More than anything I'm upset the owner blamed her worker and didnt have any accountability to her own actions. This was clearly her mistake, not the sweet employee and not ours. read more

Not particularly a fan of this place. They messed up my order on a half sandwich three times. On the third time I couldn't wait for them to fix it again because I was eating with two people. So I just ate it. They failed to ask if I wanted mayo or ranch and just put ranch on it. Which I didn't want. The portions of meat where rather small for the cost. And I was not a fan of the hummus that came with the veggies as a side option. The biggest plus to me was the drink selection which I did enjoy. But the strawberry lemonade was a little tart but still good. The wait staff was attentive but failed to ask enough questions. And focus on the finite details which attributes to making so many mistakes. They need to be more focused and pay more attention. I saw them also mess up the order of somebody sitting next to us to. And the waiter was unable to answer a condiment question about ingredients. Overall I would not go back or eat here again I was not pleased.
