    Onion rings

I liked it under the last ownership, especially the steak fries and the gyros was very good too. The steak fries are gone but I can live with that if others things make up for it. Except they've downgraded the fries a couple times now. Then there's the gyros, it's slid lower and lower every time I go. Why cut the gyros meat in such small pieces? Other legit places don't do that. Why pile it on top of the tomato, sauce and onions? Because when those little pieces are on top they just fall off and I'm left with a non gyro veggie pita. It falls apart again after you reassemble. The taste is ok but not close to good enough to justify fighting with my sandwich. I happened to make my wife come with on my last visit. Not good. She ordered a salad and was immediately pissed off. It wasn't horrible but it's at the bottom of the scale compared to any other place I'd go in the area. I also have to mention the onion rings. They sell the ones that are little bits of onions molded with dough into a circle. I tried one (so did my wife) and gave them the rest back. Compete embarrassment when they're charging like $6.50 for ten. No way my wife gives them a second chance and I've given them at least 3 swings and misses. It's over. There aren't many good Greek places in the area so I'll have to get my gyros when I'm elsewhere because they're not worth it.

The Gyro plate comes with a mountain of meat.

Fodrak's is a good place to grab a quick gyro, Italian beef, burger, hotdog, etc. The restaurant is clean and has seating for approximately 70. You order at the counter and when they call your number you grab your food. Today I had the gyro plate. It comes with all the fixings to build your own gyro. The meat had good flavor, but my plate didn't have any of the crispy well-done strips of meat that I love. I'm not sure why they don't build it for you...maybe it's a Libertyville thing. I've also had the Greek Chicken which is very good. Service is lightning quick. Fodrak's is not a bad option if you are in the area and looking for a clean, fast-food joint.

    Gyro Platter w rice

I ordered the gyro plate with rice. The gyro meat is dry looking but taste is not bad, onions were surprisingly good, the white sauce is an okay but not amazing. The rice is i do not know what to say it taste bad, so soft and wet so far from a rice i am expecting w a gyro (basmati at least). Service was good and the inside looks cozy. My first and probably not going soon did not meet my gyro expectations.

    Gyro plate

I ordered a Gyro plate which normally comes with the gyro meat overflowing the pita so you can't close it. When I received my order today, it was basically a gyro pita with no extra meat at all. For the cost, I was very disappointed.

Came here for a quick stop from out of town. Food was excellent. Had the ribs, chicken and an excellent dish called pastitsio. Staff and owners were really friendly and gave excellent recommendations on what to order. Also interior is beautiful and modern.

We came here around 4 in the afternoon and no one was in the dining room, so we decided to eat inside instead of eating at their outdoor dining area! We ordered the Gyros plate $9.99 and the fish n chips $9.99, both included tons of fries! The pita bread that came with the Gyros plate was soft and there were enough gyros to make two sandwiches! There were three pieces of fried fish for the fish n chips and it was really crispy and hot! We had great service! The cashier was really friendly, I would go back and try other menu items!

I was able to just chill on the outside and make myself comfortable, without any distractions.

The place is awesome, the food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. I love the outdoor seating, with umbrellas to shade you from the sun.

Proof of the lies posted. I arrived at 6:25

We loved their food but, they shouldn't have changed their Greek salad dressing. We stopped eating there for that reason.

And, dare I say, better version. Except for their avgolemeno soup. Such a weak travesty. Please fix this. It's just a watery mess. However, everything else is delicious. I ordered the Greek Chicken with their lemon-butter rice. They debone the chicken and serve atop a mountain of their rice. If also had their potatoes (which are good) but the rice is magical. The first time we went, they had a serve yourself soda fountain and they since got rid of it and sell soda in bottles and cans. They do still have a self-serve water station. Nikkos offers a wide variety of food, not just Greek. Burgers, dogs, Italian beef, etc. I know from experience both Mediterranean and Middle Eastern places generally offer very good burgers, but I haven't personally tried Nikkos'. I must try them soon. What I *have* tried are Italian beef, gyro, and chicken, both in plate and sandwich forms. Gyro and chicken dishes did not disappoint. Their chicken kebab plate is my daughter's new go-to Greek dish, and I can personally attest to their gyro and tzatziki sauce. Super legit. Also, French fries are good. I've tried their Italian beef now twice, but both times I thought they didn't do a very good job getting rid of beef taint. Gravy was okay; nothing special. I'd personally put them right at the same level as Portillo's. It's got a very old-school diner feel to the place. Menus are displayed with pictures over the counter, making it super easy to read and order. As far as friendliness of the cashier goes, I'd rate them 3 of 5. I was greeted and tended by a very nice lady once, but it was two grumpy dudes the other time who were all business and no play. Nothing wrong with their work ethics or order accuracy or anything. They were just unpleasant. Just so I'm clear, these encounters don't usually deter my star ratings. More so an FYI. All in all, I'm happy with my Greek plates at Nikkos. I'll probably go back to try rest of the other menu items like shish kebab or even a burger.

The fresh pita bread tears apart in beautiful layers, the vegetables are rich with flavor, and the chicken is so juicy and well seasoned. When they put the sign up I was so intrigued as to what B&B would be. Much to my delight it was Greek American style! I grew up eating along this specific fault line of American favorites and Greek classics, so I was psyched to see something like that around here. As soon as I saw they were open I had to stop in. They nailed it here. The clean diner concept was friendly and comfortable. The family run business was putting out, for my money, the best gyros anywhere around! Spinach Pie, another classic and another must have. I got one almost every visit. They did a great job with American stuff, and even a few Mexican style dishes too! I'd get the taco meal a lot actually, it was a great hearty meal. The Greek chicken plates and the lemon chicken soup were some of the best here, these guys knew their way around a chicken!
