Great customer service. They are just moving into a new facility. It looks like it is a major upgrade to their previous location.

Ordered product, received wrong item when shipped to me. 4 emails several days apart, 8 phone calls on varying days and times without any response. Calls go to a voicemail box that is not setup and emails never get answered. Are they out of business? In NC so can't just jump in the car and go in person. Went in today, just a bit before they closed and walked in on a worker that was behind the counter drunk and still drinking a large white claw. He tried to hide it under the counter and pretend like nothing happened. Management should look into what there workers are up too on a day to day. I placed an order online. Zero communication. I called and they were very nice. Said the item was in Spokane and would be delivered that week. I called two weeks later, and they were very nice and said they would look into the order. I called a week later and canceled the order. Again, they were very nice. I received an email confirming the cancellation. Two weeks later, I file a dispute with my credit card company. Still no credit issued. read more

What a great experience. I'm terrible with names but the guy helping me couldn't have made this more enjoyable. They have a very wide selection where if you don't know what you want they were super helpful in finding it. They even have samplers so you don't have to buy a seasoning you have no idea if you'll like or not. I won't ever go to another grill store in portland after that experience. read more

I ordered a grill in May. It took 2 weeks longer than they indicated to arrive (which was fine given the situation) and then after it was delivered, there was a gas leakage (it didn't pass the soap bubble test). We called the manufacturer and was told that the tape that they used was not suppose to be used and the connection part was not the right part for natural gas. Lastly, the grill was suppose to come with a cover and despite multiple phone calls and trips to the store where they repeatedly assured me that they would deliver it, still no cover almost 6 months later. The people are very nice so I have been patient and just continued to wait the lack of communication and follow through on what they promised have been disappointing. read more

Grillworks Portland is my go-to for all my grilling supplies. They carry anything I need. I bought a pellet smoking tube to use with my gas grill before I got my Traeger. It turned my gas grill into a smoker. I buy my pellets for Traeger here. They have a much better selection than any box store, and I don't have to wait on them to ship to me. The staff is friendly. They also carry a large variety of ribs and seasonings. Their bigger location will allow them to expand their offerings. I'm excited to see what they add to their offerings next! read more

Outstanding experience at GrillWorks today! So, I went in this morning to take a peek. I've been looking and researching but did not have serious intentions to buy. As luck would have it, Chris offered his knowledge and time to explain everything I wanted to know about Traeger grills. Well, I showed up with my wife a couple hours later and did the deal. I couldn't be happier with everything from start to finish. No hard pressure sales, just honest guidance through the wants and needs of grilling and smoking. TBH, I am an online shopper with few exceptions but I am 100% satisfied with GrillWorks and can't wait to go back for seasonings, grill accessories, grilling tips or even some of that delicious Tri Tip they served up today!! For someone who had never owned or used anything more than a $20 Weber, I thought buying a quality gas grill for our new patio would be difficult. So, I went online to learn as much as I could to ensure I wouldn't regret my choice of make and model. Then I looked at what the online sellers like Amazon were offering as well as Home Depot. Then I checked for local grill specialty stores on YELP. That's where I first learned of Grillworks. When I called them, Chris was great. He listened to my concerns and what I thought I wanted based on my research. He said they had all the units I was considering AND the best way to check them out would be to attend their 2nd Annual Turkey Palooza that was happening in two days. He said I could see all the grills in action roasting turkeys and other foods. I could talk with the reps and the best part, experience some fabulous food prepared on a wide variety of outdoor cookers. To say the least, we had a great time. We learned a lot and had narrowed our choices to two. The next day we sprung for the higher quality Blaze 4LTE with all the accessories. When I checked the prices of the online sellers, I was delighted to learn I'd gotten the best deal by far from Grillworks. When it arrived, I opted to put the cabinet and everything together myself vs. the folks at Grillworks. I'm glad I did because I got to know all the details of this unit and it was pretty easy. I have to admit taking on roasting a turkey on the rotisserie was not the easiest way to get my feet wet with grilling. But, despite a few hiccups, we should have a pretty great roast turkey in a couple more hours. Thank you CHRIS!!! You and your cohorts were great to work with.
