I got the brilliant idea to get a new BBQ on the day before 4th of July. Crazy, right? Luckily I did my research the night before. Impressed with Sam's NW BBQ's reviews and product video from Saber, I headed out and within an hour Sam had gotten me thoroughly educated on the Saber product, answered all of my questions, discussed the pros/cons of running the standard propane setup or converting to natural gas, tips on using the new grill and then he quickly forklifted it into my pickup and helped me secure it properly. I made it home safely and even though I never used the grill before, our 4th of July party was a success. Love the new Saber grill and Sam's service! I'm grateful that Sam's shop is so close to my new home. I bought a Green Mountain Grill prior to realizing that Sam's shop was there, and was looking for a source for pellets. Not only does Sam carry a variety of pellet brands and flavors, he has a ton in stock. This isn't to mention the actual grills he has, in addition to many different accessories, rubs, marinades and sauces. I'll add that I bought a couple bags of off-brand pellets from him, and wasn't entirely satisfied with the first bag that I used. I attempted to return them and buy Green Mountain brand, but Sam admitted he couldn't accept them. If I could give him a negative star I would. You do not need a high end grill to do a good cook. His prices are much higher than what you would pay at Costco. They guarantee their products. Here's a place that has what you need when you need it and a guy who is passionate about what he does and knows the meaning of customer service! I bought my MAK from Sam sometime ago and am very tardy in getting this review. I did my homework and went to other stores in the area (Salem). At the "other" store, I was met by a Salesman who did not know the product and probably never BBQ'd or smoked meat a day in his life. I then found Sams. Not only does he sell them, he owns them, has experience with BBQ'ing on the different brands he carries and knows the background on the different companies, along with the pro's and con's of each unit. This was my first non-gas or briquette grill and I had a lot of questions. Sam walked me through the different types, models and features of each one so I could decide which one would fit me and my needs the best. This is a no-pressure & no BS store. Answers are straight forward and honest, Integrity is high and customer service is exceptional. Go check 'em out.
