    Red Dragon Roll

Ahhh the ICONIC drive thru sushi stand. I spent many years curious but too afraid to try it. Well, now that I have tried it I'm upset I've missed out all these years! First off, I don't have to get out of the car for SUSHI? Immediate green flag. The stand is small but they are very efficient! The woman that took my order was incredibly sweet and helped guide me through the menu. I ordered the tuna roll, red dragon roll and an orange chicken bowl combo. I can only speak for the sushi as I didn't try the orange chicken. The sushi is incredibly fresh and the portions are generous. I maybe waited 8-10 minutes after ordering to receive my food. The tuna roll was significantly larger than your average basic roll. The red dragon was beautifully presented tasted as good as it looks. Please do yourself the favor and try it!

I was craving for South Eastern Asian milk and they have it here. It's a simple syrup drink with cream and condensed milk. Today, I got their Raindow drink. I usually grab their Red drink but this time I got their Rainbow drink and a Thai Tea drink. RAINBOW DRINK : This drink turns into a magenta color. It taste like a floral banana flavor. The drink is a bit too sweet. I suggest adding water to it. Trust me, it's more refreshing when you dilute it down. And plus, you get more too. RATE : 4/5 THAI TEA : They brew their Thai Tea. I can taste the herby and spice from the drink. But it's a bit sad that their Thai Tea is very diluted. I can barely taste the tea, cream and sweatner. RATE : 2/5 CONS : I'm a bit sad that it's pricy for a small drink. It's $6 for a 12 oz. SERVICE : Friendly elderly couples who takes turn helping each other taking and making orders. AMBIANCE : [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a little drive-tru shack. You can walk up or do drive-tru. When it's peak hour, they take long long to finish up their order. So plan accordingly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] OVERALL : Great little shack for a quick sushi grab. They do do catering too. I personally think that their menu is on a pricy side.

I ordered the red dragon roll and Philadelphia roll. Both were great. Sushi tasted much better than the grab and go stuff you see in grocery stores. I'll be back.

The previous reviews were NOT lying when they Fleurichi Express has fresh ingredients. The service was quick and fish was good quality. They were able to make adjustments based on my preferences and were kind.

I've driven past this place 100 times and I always thought who would ever get drive-thru sushi? After looking at their reviews, I realized a lot of people get sushi from here and rave about it. I ordered a lion roll, caterpillar roll and a teriyaki bowl. I went with a lion roll because it was mentioned in many of the reviews, and you know what it was very good! The Lion Roll is five massive rolls filled with crab, cucumber, avocado, and shrimp tempura. They could have eased up on the sauces, but it was still very good and super fresh. I literally watched the sushi chef make this roll from my car window, bonkers. The caterpillar roll was also very good and once again I was surprised at how fresh the fish was this was a drive-thru only sushi spot. The teriyaki bowl was OK. It was 90% rice and the rest was chicken and a few veggie pieces. I got here around 11:30 AM with nobody in line and it still took me about 20+ minutes to get my food as they make everything to order. I noticed both on Yelp and on their drive-thru window they recommend phone-in orders and now I know why. I wouldn't say this is a sushi lovers paradise, but for a basic sushi eater like myself, Fleurichi Express Sushi did the trick!

I'm not sure what went wrong, but the quality of sushi I received looks drastically different from other pictures on here. I was amused by the drive thru concept but I appreciated the convenience. The entire process to 20 minutes to complete. *Sashimi 10pcs: came with a choice of 5 fish from a selection of tuna, eel, shrimp, yellowtail, salmon, octopus, and scallop. I chose tuna, yellowtail, salmon and double order of scallop. Across the board, the fish was sliced poorly and inconsistently. The tuna was fishy and covered in a slimy film. The salmon was the best piece with decent fat content. While the yellowtail was tender, it was cut into smaller hunks so it felt prechewed. The scallop was horrendous as it was still frozen solid. *Ginger: this was preemptively included and it was spoiled. I immediately spat it out because it stank. Sure the concept was fun but the quality of seafood was horrendous. Maybe reconsider getting sushi from a drive thru.

The customer service was so nice! They didn't rush us and they seriously make your sushi when you order it. We ordered the lion roll and star shine roll and sushi all in-nigiri roll. When we entered there was no wait which was very nice. Usually they have a long line!! So worth the visit and wait!

Absolutely best sushi in all the 559 area! We keep coming back here because you get the best price and delicious sushi and great portions. The owners are also so nice and kind and really a great spot to get food.

Great little sushi spot for good quality sushi, good portion sizes, for a reasonable price that's easy to order ahead and pick up. Most of their popular rolls are tempura rolls Family owned and operated. Sweet staff who really want you to enjoy the food and experience. Same sushi you would get at most restaurants with nice presentation except you pick it up and enjoy it at home. Great concept. Wish I'd tried it sooner. They can even make custom rolls if you don't see it on the menu.

We happened to be driving by and saw this drive thru sushi spot. My first reaction was to laugh and joke about. But then we past it a couple days later and I started thinking about how it must work. Looked at some pictures and noticed the sushi bar inside. Basically a person taking the other at the window, and the sushi chef making the sushi. The more I thought about it, it's the exact same as sitting at the sushi bar in a Japanese restaurant. The chef makes the sushi right in front of you. Same here. You can see everything happen right there while you chill in the car and listen to music. Not a bad idea after all. The Lead Dragon Roll was very good. Basically a shrimp tempura roll with teriyaki sauce on it. Much better than any quick pickup sushi from a grocery store. Solid quality, not the best but better than a couple restaurants. The spicy tuna roll was ok. Not terrible but decent. Maybe if the sauce was drizzled on top instead of just poured on each piece. It over powered the tuna instead of complementing it. Lastly was the Eel roll. That was another solid choice. On par with most restaurants. Next time I'll get the Caterpillar roll for even more delicious eel. We'll be back for sure.

I've driven by for a couple of years and finally stopped by. I was a bit nervous but also very curious. It did not disappoint. Beautiful looking and great tasting rules. You can tell they out a lot of care into the preparation. Based on the reviews and what I paid, it does seem as though they have increased their prices recently, but what place hasn't. Not the cheapest place for sushi but we'll worth the money. I only tried a couple of specialties rolls which were about $14 each. The regular rolls are much cheaper but the flavor of the specialty rolls make it worth it. Without naming specific places, this was perhaps the same quality of the "good" sit down places in town and far better then the "cheap" fast places in town. It was relatively fast for a one/two person operation but felt longer simply because you're in your car waiting. Oh, and the folks working there....soooo kind and sweet. They add to the experience and seem to enjoy what they do. Even with a mask on you can tell they are smiling. A pure delight.

So I haven't had a true sushi meal since moving to Clovis. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I had first seen this place in the middle of a parking lot looking like a Photo Mat booth in the middle of Central Valley, I thought it was a joke.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Over the years have seen lines waiting for sushi. Looked them up on Yelp and holy cow! Great reviews! We drove up and there was no wait! The lady was very pleasant placed our order and 10 minutes later, we received our freshly made sushi. Large fresh rolls. Very enjoyable meal. I will be back!

How long have they been in business?

Not positive but I'd say a good 3-4 years at least.

I hope this isn't a really dumb question...but can you order at the window if you're on foot, or does it strictly have to be on car?

I just ordered at the window because both lanes were being occupied.

One word of advice: if you're planning to join the waitlist, I recommend calling ahead for a more accurate wait time. The website initially showed no one ahead of us, but after joining the waitlist it indicated several parties were waiting. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be about 45 minutes, which wasn't ideal with a couple of hungry kids. Thankfully, we were seated within about 10 minutes. Our server, Patrick, was fantastic! He provided excellent customer service, took the time to explain the sushi rolls, helped us navigate the kids' menu, and was attentive throughout our meal. Patrick, thank you for helping make my mom's birthday dinner so memorable. Khasey was our chef, and the food was absolutely delicious. He made sure we had every sauce we asked for. The teppanyaki experience for the children was engaging and fun. To top it off, the staff brought out a cute birthday dessert and sang a birthday tune for my mom, which made the celebration even more special. The location is another huge plus. It's situated in a great area near Fresno State with plenty to do before or after dinner, including ice cream shops, boba spots, VR gaming, and movie theaters. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back!

So when my son asked us to meet him, his lovely wife and our 3 granddaughters for dinner on a recent visit I didn't have my hopes up. Namikaze is a nice quiet restaurant that from its decor could easily be an Italian, French or American restaurant. Just change the paintings on the wall. The Menu is pretty expansive. A full menu of Sushi, noodles, gyoza and rolls made it difficult to choose but eventually we narrowed it down. I always try the Unagi (eel) at any sushi restaurant. It is my barometer for how good everything else will probably be. It was good. I also ordered the Kimono Roll while my wife had Shogun roll. We also tried the Chicken Gyoza. Everything was terrific. Excellent taste and fresh. Next time someone asks me about Fresno I'll say "Fresno! They have good sushi there". Definitely Recommended.

I was immediate greeted by the two Sushi chefs behind the counter as I walked in. Not long after, the host greeted me and handed me a menu for me to select my order to go. I considered a poke bowl, however, their sauces were pretty standard. So instead I opted for their seaweed salad that came with a number of protein including tuna, edamame, shrimp, avocado, and masago. It was $19, so it wasn't necessarily inexpensive, however I figured a poke bowl with a couple proteins would run me right about there as well. The sushi chef got right away to work preparing my meal and I was in and out within 5 minutes. When I got home, I opened up my box and was a little underwhelmed with the presentation. The protein is cut up into small pieces and mixed in with the seaweed salad. In addition it is not pure seaweed as it is also mixed in with a bunch of other greens such as sprouts. So while the presentation was not what I was expecting, I was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed the flavors and textures. I will definitely order this again.

Service/ ambiance: Came here on a Thursday around 8 to be greeted by a 45min. Wait--we stuck around. The place was super packed, and because the windows had the blinds down with art work; it felt a bit claustrophobic and overwhelming. We got an alert that our table was ready and checked-in. The hostess then left us, and waved us down to signal where we were sitting (they could've told us to follow them lol) The waitress was nice, but seemed a bit scattered. Automatically asked what we wanted, but we had never been here before, so wasn't sure how it all worked (they never explained). The walls of our booth were littered with scrape marks and chipped paint. The booth had no cushion whatsoever, making it extremely difficult to get comfortable (ok...there's a cushion, but it's flat). The table was the most annoying part. No matter if you scoot it more towards you or the other side there still so much space. I'm basically sitting at the edge of my seat trying to eat because of the distance--if you're a bit heftier on the stomach--it's perfect. (Random observation: the bathroom looks nice, but not well kept. There's graffiti and cravings all over, which makes me think I'm in the bathroom of a dive bar) Food: As I mentioned I was craving sushi--their selection was lack luster. Almost everything had the same ingredients. The salmon sashimi looked pale and had no color. There were some pieces that were sliced so thin you could basically see through it. I ordered two rolls for my daughter (crazy roll & snow mountain)--both were lacking flavor. The presentation for them was as if they didn't care or even try? Every time I picked one up it would fall apart. The Hibachi steak was cold and dry. Shot ribs were just lathered in sauce (not my preference), and mostly came with little meat and all bone. I'd only come back if the majority of people I'm with want to go, but I wouldn't suggest it myself. The service felt rushed. Food could have been presented/ prepared better. Space could've opened easily by letting us see out the windows and not feel so packed like a can of sardines, and could definitely use some touch up paint and better cushions. It could've been an off night, but this is what I experienced.

The 14-piece sashimi platter with a couple of rolls was more than enough for two people, and everything was excellent quality. The ramen is also fantastic, but fair warning: the bowls are HUGE, so definitely come hungry.
