The food is good and the staff are nice to help me out with the food and drinks and always say please and thank you

Miso soup

The prettiest plate of food I've ever gotten served. I went in around noon it wasn't too busy but everyone was really nice and welcoming. The service was quick and easy. The sushi chef is so nice for plating this up for me so beautifully. It made my pregnant self very happy bcas I was starving when I got in haha. Cute place tucked away but definitely doesn't miss in flavor and presentation. I will be back again.

Fresh and good quality fish. We had the mango Fresno roll, the octopus with jalapeño, a sashimi platter and miso soup. This is a hidden gem! Definitely recommend. They have fresh wasabi, non-alcoholic Sapporo unfiltered sake, flavored soju! Service was good. Our waitress was polite and knowledgeable about the dishes. They were busy but overall, the service was good. Music was good. Loud but you can have a conversation without yelling. Definitely coming back. Prices are reasonable for the portions and good quality of the dishes.

Waiting for my food

I wanted to try a sushi place we haven't tried before and decided on this place. We ordered to go. Service was excellent. They were very attentive. The place looked busy. Inside was cute. We went with sashimi salad. That came with a mixture of different fish, a bed of lettuce mix, seaweed salad and supposed to be a spicy sauce. It was pretty expensive. I think $24? We did get a lot of different fish pieces tho which tasted good, but the dressing was okay. Kinda bland after it sat in the lettuce. Tasted a lil watery after that. Not spicy. Would've loved more seaweed salad in it. My son wanted nigiri so got him the octopus and ono (butterfish). He liked both but some parts of the octopus ends was rubbery to him. I ordered the Snow White roll, and my bf ordered the blonde bombshell roll. They were both delicious. Comes with wasabi and pickled ginger. The fish here taste fresh.

Menu

Ordered the I.D.K. roll and Tiger roll. The tiger roll was on the plainer side (probably won't order it again). The I.D.K. roll was good. It was busy so I wasn't sure how to do a take-out order because there's no hostess area or cashier at the front. Thankfully one of the sushi chef noticed me and waved for me to go to the sushi bar and he took my order too.

The sushi here never disappoints! One of my favorite sushi rolls it's the Philadelphia special it's always so fresh and tasty. The service is always welcoming and fast. The place is always kept up and clean.

Bento Box A Combo Lunch

My family, friends, and I are all regulars at Sushi Day. They have attentive waiters, and have operated for a very long time with the same delicious menu, nice decor, and friendly staff. We usually order the OMG Roll, which is stacked with extra toppings and just absolutely delicious. Other than that roll, we love the Rainbow Roll and the Baked Hamachi. The Rainbow has delicious fresh fish and avocado and a variety of fish while the Baked Hamachi is closer to a sushi bake with delicious cooked meat on top of the roll. Needless to say, we will continue going to Sushi Day!

OMG Tempura Roll

We are repeat customers and have had fresh, delicious sushi. The Touch Me is delicious (asked for no Salmon, only Tuna). Husband enjoyed The Climax. He said he'd order it again.

Food is always top tier I love their sushi combo. My boyfriend orders the beef bento box and loves it every time. Service is always fast no matter how packed it gets and we've gone so much they started to say see you guys next time. It's really great it's our go to spot after Sendai Sushi closed. 10/10 would recommend

Our waitress was very attentive, and the food came out quickly. Nothing was phenomenal, but everything was fine and cooked properly. The gentleman bringing our food was rushing too much, and when he reached a plate out towards me to hand it off, the sweet chili style sauce slid off and dumped down my blouse, into my shirt, all over my Apple Watch, and down my side onto my pants and the bench seat. Unfortunately, the busboy just stood there saying nothing. I asked for napkins and he quickly brought them, and never apologized. The waitress came back by and mentioned she heard we had an accident and she was sorry about that. We were not comped in any way. That would have been a of show excellent customer service, but instead I was just left with a ruined blouse and sticky and stinky for half of my meal. It's rich without being heavy, perfectly seasoned, and you can actually taste the quality of the beef in every bite. Creamy, flavorful, and loaded with seafood that actually tasted fresh, not rubbery or overcooked. You can tell they take their time with it. What really made the whole experience next level was our waitress, Kammi. She had that rare mix of being super attentive without hovering. Our drinks were always refilled before we even had to ask, she timed everything perfectly, and she knew the menu inside and out. When we asked for recommendations, she didn't just list items, she actually described them in a way that made it easy to choose, and she was spot on with everything. You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, not just turning tables.cThe place was clean, service was quick, food came out hot and beautifully presented, and the vibe just felt easy and enjoyable. Whether you're craving sushi, teriyaki, or ramen, they really have something for everyone. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh -- honestly some of the freshest fish we've had at any sushi restaurant. It tastes like the chef went out and caught it that morning. The 14-piece sashimi platter with a couple of rolls was more than enough for two people, and everything was excellent quality. The ramen is also fantastic, but fair warning: the bowls are HUGE, so definitely come hungry. Their garlic edamame is absolutely addictive, and we really enjoyed the poke in the seaweed poke salad, though the dish does lean very heavily on the seaweed, so just keep that in mind before ordering. Cassidy is new to the restaurant and waited on us. an Shewas wonderful -- super friendly, attentive, patient, and just genuinely great service all around. The only downside was the new menu design. So when my son asked us to meet him, his lovely wife and our 3 granddaughters for dinner on a recent visit I didn't have my hopes up. Namikaze is a nice quiet restaurant that from its decor could easily be an Italian, French or American restaurant. Just change the paintings on the wall. The Menu is pretty expansive. A full menu of Sushi, noodles, gyoza and rolls made it difficult to choose but eventually we narrowed it down. I always try the Unagi (eel) at any sushi restaurant. It is my barometer for how good everything else will probably be. It was good. I also ordered the Kimono Roll while my wife had Shogun roll. We also tried the Chicken Gyoza. Everything was terrific. Excellent taste and fresh. Next time someone asks me about Fresno I'll say "Fresno! They have good sushi there". Definitely Recommended.

I was immediate greeted by the two Sushi chefs behind the counter as I walked in. Not long after, the host greeted me and handed me a menu for me to select my order to go. I considered a poke bowl, however, their sauces were pretty standard. So instead I opted for their seaweed salad that came with a number of protein including tuna, edamame, shrimp, avocado, and masago. It was $19, so it wasn't necessarily inexpensive, however I figured a poke bowl with a couple proteins would run me right about there as well. The sushi chef got right away to work preparing my meal and I was in and out within 5 minutes. When I got home, I opened up my box and was a little underwhelmed with the presentation. The protein is cut up into small pieces and mixed in with the seaweed salad. In addition it is not pure seaweed as it is also mixed in with a bunch of other greens such as sprouts. So while the presentation was not what I was expecting, I was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed the flavors and textures. I will definitely order this again.

I will say the service is VERY quick, but unfortunately their quality has definitely gone down. It used to take them about 5 to 10 minutes getting these bowls ready with fresh ingredients. This time around it took them like 1 minute from the moment I paid.. which is great in the sense of time..but not great for the quality of the ingredients. I ordered their Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with 2 pieces of their California Roll. The chicken was shredded when it used to come in cut up pieces. The chicken felt stale and dry, as if it was made ahead of time and just sitting to be reheated as someone ordered. My bowl came with no veggies whatsoever, except for the chopped green onions for flavor and garnish. The rice to chicken ratio was unpleasant. I feel like I ordered rice with a side of chicken. The two pieces of California Rolls were definitely made ahead of time. The Nori was soft and observed the moisture. The flavors within the sushi were good though. The ratio of rice and avocado, plus the other condiments came together well. This was accompanied with some teriyaki sauce you pour over your teriyaki bowl and some wasabi sauce to add to your sushi if you wished to do so. The service itself was not rude, but also not the best. With everything put together, I'm pretty disappointed in my returning experience here. It was such a good place from what I remember. I'm not sure if it's new ownership or leadership since I was last here, but it is definitely not the same quality that made me want to keep coming back before. I won't be back, but you can always give it a try and see what your experience is.
