Farmland is a great market. There are two rooms of isles with fresh and freezer cases filled with a large variety to items. They have a bit of everything a grocery store has and easier to find since it wasn't overfilled! He was rude when I asked him if they had any extra items in the back, he said if it's not out there, then no. Which I know isn't true. There's typically only one register and most people take huge shopping carts full of groceries to the self checkout. If you expect us to use the self checkout without any mistakes or forgetting we didn't scan an item, then send your customers through cashier classes. We scan and bag our own groceries, why do we not get paid to scan, etc.

We totally understand that a small town will have a small Safeway if they're fortunate enough to…read morehave one at all. We also understand that the selection will be limited because all vendors may not service the more rural areas. What we don't understand is that when you have a deli department that scoops potions of premade salads to be sold by weight, that the staff doesn't periodically stir up the salads. Refrigeration causes dehydration. That how things get cooled. This dehydration dries out the exterior of the food items and stirring keeps everything hydrated and appealing. We were going to try to pick up some grab and go items and salads but once we saw what was on offer, we left. If the staff doesn't care, why should we?
