I'm not one to always write reviews, but when someone is extremely kind, helpful, and over the top with their customer service, I find it necessary. He 1000% made my day just with his generosity. He told me he had been dealing with rude people on the phone all morning until I called, so I was happy to give him the same type of joy he gave me. When I went to the store to pick up what he had put on hold for me, he asked if it were me and introduced himself. Talk about going above and beyond! This kid needs a raise! By far my favorite Trader Joe's! I usually visit after work as it is close by. Staff is always helpful, pleasant and even interact with you. Store is always kept clean, flowers are beautiful here. Well stocked and I'm a fan of the beer selection they carry. I love the strawberry batches they receive here; they tend to last me longer for what ever reason. read more

The Best Trader Joe's. Friendly Staff, large store & easy parking lot. Always Stocked with Fresh food.

This was probably one of the most anticipated store openings for Santa Clarita, a second Trader Joe's location. Compared to other locations, this location is spacious with wide and long isles fully stocked with items. Even though it's crowded, you don't feel overwhelmed with people shopping. Parking is also a non-issue here since it has a large parking lot which provides plenty of spaces for parking. The best part is that this location is close to home, I can easily run to the store when I need to shop. read more

Today is opening day in Canyon country and the parking lot is packed. Samples are flowing, The checkout lines are actually moving. The staff has been super friendly, and despite the crowds, the shelves are well stocked and the staff is great. This is the second Store in Santa Clarita and it is nice that it will not have to take a trip across town to pick up my cheeses yogurts and specialty foods. Wish all Trader Joe's locations were like this one! Large aisles stocked with everything you're looking for and an even larger parking lot. You don't have to be paranoid that you might be hit when you walk to your car or if your car will be hit when you return to it. I've never been to a Trader Joe's I don't like but I love this location even though it's a little further from home. It's right off the 14 fwy in the large shopping center off Golden Valley. A Trader Joe's you don't dread coming to. A Trader Joe's you can actually move around in with a cart, and not be frustrated AF by the time you get out of the parking lot. Just bought a ribeye steak from this location and when I opened the vacuum packed seal I was hit by such a rancid smell. Normally I don't return food, but this was expensive. So I called and they were very good about returning my money. Things happen I get it, but what bothered me was there nonchalant attitude about it like this was a common thing. Is food safety a concern here because this could have been serious had it been consumed. How about checking on the rest of the meats you are selling? How about any attempt at pretending you are concerned? I will never buy meat at this location again or any Trader Joe's in the future. read more

So I had call to find out about the DUBAI chocolate. Spoke with Lori. And kept reiterating DUBAI. She told me there was nothing coming up in the system. I asked her to place some on hold for me as I will be picking it up today. When I entered the store a gentleman helped me and walked me over to the desk. The first guy asked another guy at the desk and Lori was right there. Not sure if she was out of it but how the heck do you mistake DUBAI with VEGAN? my brother just gave her a weird look. Charlie the store manager is the man! I accidentally scratched the number off my gift card. He kindly took it and said he would call corporate to verify the card. I didn't expect to hear from him. I thought, like in most establishments, I would have to call and push the manager. Nope, Charlie called me the next day and fixed the issue. Customer service is still alive! I am and others too that I have spoken to have praised how fantastic this store opened in Canyon Country, This shopping center just upped its game and I am so grateful for another TJ in Santa Clarita, the best part is there's Target up the street, Bath Body works, TJ Maxx Costco around the corner, my favorite stores. Finally, Trader Joe's has graced our area. No more of those Whack Job Valencia / Stevenson Ranch road rage parking lot people! This Trader Joe's is lovely inside and not claustrophobic like the one on Bouquet and this one also has a Dollar Tree right next to it which is great to get stuff for a party, along with food that you could get from Trader Joe's. Now if they would just build a Costco in Valencia or their industrial area, that would be wonderful! You won't find big name store brands here, only curated products that pass muster without harmful GMOs and artificial this and that. We have a Stater Brothers that is a closer drive, but we'll always shop at our TJ's on Golden Valley, even if we have to pay slightly more during checkout. Their customer service is absolutely on point, their checkout staff always make sure you never have to wait more than one person ahead of you. Produce is fresh, many products are very affordable, but I always go for the pricier wine options and fancy meat cuts, so of course my bill is always high haha. read more

Came in on a Wednesday around 11am or so. Surprised this location wasn't packed, maybe it was just the time I came in but I loved it! Very spacious, great lighting overall just an awesome Trader Joe's. I also noticed that the staff at this location seem to really enjoy their job and actually have the will to help us customers unlike the other location here in the scv. I definitely don't mind driving to this location. Eloise at the register gave me an awesome recommendation for dinner and actually taught me how to make my own Alfredo sauce!! Told me what to get and surprisingly you only need 4 ingredients. Minus the seasonings of course. Didn't know it was that easy, it was a huge hit with the fam and I will DEFINITELY be making it again per wifeys request, so shoutout to Eloise!! read more
