    Four cheese pizza

Seems to be one of the few restaurants opening here at night. Beautiful view of the river. You can see otters flipping around in the water occasionally by the outdoor dining area Pretty busy inside. You need to order by the front and pay first The sausage calzone is not really my thing. Way too many unchopped garlic(like half of the content). I thought it would be pieces of round cut-sausage but it's more of ground meat with some kind of white sauce. It gets really heavy after a few bites. The pickled banana pepper isn't helping the heaviness either. But others seem to like it. The four cheese pizza is also pretty basic. I personally would not go back They also have some interesting gelato flavors selling inside.

Omg a frickin awesome find off the 101 in sleepy Gold Beach, OR. Don't pass this place up. Sweet pies, full bar, and an amazing view of the Rogue River just above the Issac Lee Patterson Bridge, built in the 30's. I had the Milk N Honey and added pepperoni. Amazing! Gotta check t hi a place out!

We love having groundlings right down the street and have tried many of their menu items. This evening we ordered A Fungus Amungus-pistachio pesto, pecorino, fresh mozzarella, oyster mushrooms and beer sausage. Our friends ordered You Get More Beautiful Everyday- tomato sauce, Parmesan, mozzarella, soppresatta salami, roast garlic, hot honey. Both are delicious. We also love the calzones, our grandson went nuts for the s'mores one last summer I can't wait to take him back this summer. Drinks were tasty, service was great and they even had live music while we were there. -Andi

The drinks and beer were great and the pizza was better! Nice friendly place with a killer view of the Rogue. Nice outdoor patio area where dogs are allowed. We had the Smelly Nelly with mushrooms and 3 different cheeses. The crust was superb. Thin and charred on the bottom, with a nice "chew" that tasted like it had some sourdough in it. Oh and the bathrooms rock too! Gold Beach is darn lucky to have this gem.

Pizza done right! Massive wood fired oven and all the typical fair from your local pizza house! River view and a drink list to wet your whistle. Dont skip this spot when traveling through or staying in Gold Beach

Fantastic cheese pizza, sausage calzones and beer on tap! Atmosphere is nice and has good views of the river. Probably the best place to eat in Gold Beach right now so make sure to visit!

Best pizza since I was stationed in Italy in the 80s. I was hesitant to try the honey but it was fantastic.

Located right on the river, we had a beautiful backdrop for our meal. The pizza and salad were both delicious and the service was great.

Kind of a hip dive bar meets delicious food with a sprinkle of old timers ready to share a story or two with you while you wait. We got burgers, cuz duh... Look at these things!! I got mine with a side salad instead of fries and my friend got the fries. All of it was delicious. There was zero chance either of us were able to finish these monsters so the rest came home with us. The side salad was amazing! Fries were delicious. And the burgers did not disappoint. The guy at the counter was super friendly and everyone in the establishment gave off a friendly vibe. Happy they were the only place open when we were driving through. We would definitely visit again.

This place is extremely inconsistent. Once they stop feeling like serving anything other than fried…read morefood which is mandatory to keep serving alcohol.. they claim the pizza oven is broken and no more pizzas. Walk in on 4th of July to the entire place packed and a pizza just coming out of the oven, everyone has multiple pizzas.. I try to order to go.. nope sorry pizza oven isn't working. LMFAO. Or when they want you to eat there and keep drinking their overpriced booze. Either fix your pizza oven, upgrade your disgusting black fingerprint and gunk covered white standing fridge that everyone can see when ordering or tell your customers you don't want their patronage and aren't making anymore pizzas for the night. Be honest. Place has been reported to health dept for unsanitary practices in the kitchen. It's truly disgusting. Also the main bitch up front always is bitching about being there, bitching when an employee calls out sick because she has to work longer, or bitches that anyone else that works there doesn't know how to do shit. It truly is SO off putting for anyone to come in and feel like they can enjoy a meal or themselves. Especially anyone who isn't from this town and is visiting or passerby's.. it's not welcoming. Find a new job if you don't like what you do. NOONE is making you stay there.

Best thin crust tavern style pizza we've had in a long time, in a very unexpected location…read more My wife, her mom, and I had just crossed the Oregon-California border into Oregon and used the nearby Dollar Tree in Brookings to be our end point on our fourth day Internet access had been spotty throughout our trip through Big Sur and then Redwood parks, so used a combination of Google maps and Yelp to find nearby businesses, just for fun. Fat Cat showed up with high ratings. None of us were particularly hungry, but their ratings for thin-crust pizza piqued my interest, so we adjusted our plans and walked in. There was one employee (Ian) working on this mid afternoon time on hump day, so had to get his attention while he was working in the back. You place and pay for your order first, so ordered a medium thin crust pineapple/ham ($15). Not knowing what to expect, I asked if the pizza crust could be made well done. We sat down at the fast food booths, and didn't have to wait long. When the pizza came, all of us knew immediately by the sight and smell that it was going to be great. The crust was the perfect thinness, and the toppings were generous. Our plan was to sample some of it and then take the rest back, but the three of us ended eating every single piece. It was that good. We learned a bit more about the business from Ian. It used to be a franchise pizza joint, but the owner decided to stop being a franchisee, and create a local name. 'Gato Gordo' was thrown out as an early name, with the final name being chosen as the winner from an early Christmas party secret Santa gift. The pizza crust is consistently made by a dough sheeter at a low thinness setting. This might be sacrilegious, but I think I prefer this way vs the hand tossed NY style that is way more prevalent (and way more expensive).

Specialty pies with the cat names (Meowgarita, Siamese Sriracha, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Philly Cheesesteak) are the way to go if you don't want a plain build-your-own. Staff were friendly and quick, food came out hot, and the cat decorations make the place feel local instead of generic. Easy stop if you're driving the coast. Would recommend and would come back.
