Corner coffee shop in Old town. They have an outdoor area to bring along your pups and welcome dogs inside while ordering. The bagels were really fresh and fluffy, highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and quick with service. The reason for a 4 star is we felt the cold brew tasted more like iced coffee and was quite bitter. The espresso was bitter and robust in flavor. A bit bolder than we prefer.

Saturday mornings are busy at the Grounds coffee shop! We ordered some iced coffee, iced tea, and a couple grilled banana breads. The tea was flavorful and fresh and the coffees were also great. The grilled banana bread was phenomenal - just get it! I will be dreaming of this treat. Everything here was really good and the service was quick.

Cute little coffee shop in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. You wouldn't even know it was there. You blink and you could easily miss it. I joined a friend of mine here for a quick cup of coffee this afternoon. I'm just a regular mocha pot/french press coffee kind of gal. So I don't really know the terminology of Americano latte frou frou boujee etc. lol But I told the girl that I'm just used to regular coffee and asked if they had heavy cream, which she said they did have on hand. A+ for that! My small cup of coffee with heavy cream came to $3.51 after tax. Not too bad I guess for Old Town prices. The coffee had a decent flavor and did not taste burned so that was a plus. So if you're ever an old town and want something different than your typical corporate coffee, check out Grounds on 2nd.

Grounds on 2nd is a local neighborhood coffee spot near Old Town Scottsdale that also serves alcohol/beer. Located in a residential area, it has funky vibes with indoor and outdoor seating, and pretty upbeat music. We ordered an Americano and iced white mocha drinks. The Americano (4/5) was nice and strong, with just the right amount of milk. The iced white mocha (3.5/5) was refreshing, but did have some hints of bitterness that are often masked in superior versions of the drink. While prices were a bit on the high side, service was friendly. While I probably wouldn't return as a visitor in Scottsdale, Grounds on 2nd would be a decent coffee option if I were a local.

Tried this new coffee shop today in Scottsdale area. Loved it. Beer, wine, coffee, pastries and some other food options. Very nice patio in shade. My coffee and scone brought out to me on patio. Love this kinda service from a coffee shop. Scone had been heated up for me without even asking !!!! 20 oz Americano and cranberry orange scone. Great stop, glad I found this location. Quiet neighborhood, good tunes on entertainment system. Parking a bit dicey. Didn't see parking lot. Think it's street parking only. I was lucky to find 1 handicap spot off to side. Not sure it was even dedicated to Grounds. Despite this, place is so pleasant, Will be back.

    Cute neighborhood.

Pumpkin spice was nice and my matcha latte was a lotta. Tasty cream cheese pumpkin muffin. We enjoyed the pleasant outdoorsy neighborhood vibe as we sipped on the patio. Barista was kind.

Came here for breakfast and a coffee before going to the airport and I really loved this spot! Super cute indoor and outdoor seating tucked just inside of a neighborhood. The coffee and food here was great and I would love to come back for their wine happy hour.

S tier coffee shop, honestly can't say enough good things about it. Imagine your "ideal" coffee shop, what does it have? Fast WiFi, places to chat, places to work, great coffee, friendly baristas, this place has all of that and more!! It's often busy but there's somehow always a place to sit, there's food, wine, and grocery items, and it's super inviting. Any complaints? Hmmm... not really tbh. It does everything well and parking is never a problem. If you're looking for a third place, you'll probably find it here.

I love that this shop is pretty unassuming on a corner in the middle of a neighborhood. A short walk from where live. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and can recognize you after a couple months away. This day I tried the seasonal drink, Irish cold brew. I wanted a cold drink and this fit the bill. I joked with Olivia that I could've used some Baileys in the drink. She laughed and mentioned they don't have the license for that. I did get my favorite breakfast sandwich, the Smoked Salmon bagel sandwich. I love the big stack of salmon with the capers, pickled red onion and dill mayo (I think). This place also has a little market for daily food and beverage needs with a nice selection of wines with wine tasting on certain nights.

Just as good as I remember it! The croissant sandwich sauce on the side is SO good! Got an iced mocha light milk and half sweet. Perfect!

I came here for a pick me up afternoon fix , I found this place had good reviews so wanted to check them out ! The atmosphere was nice and relaxed ! The lady who took my order was very nice and helpful when ordering ! I ordered my usual ice mocha latte, I got a large . It was definitely more pricey than I thought it was a gonna be but it was good.

This is exactly what a local coffee shop should be. For lunch I got the Caprese panini no meat and a latte with 2% milk. Located in a cute mid century neighborhood and plenty of seating outside. I'll definitely be back to try some of the fall specials. There is also a small selection of wine for sale and a wine tasting Thursday 4-7pm.

I was looking for a quick cappuccino this morning and was curious to try out somewhere I hadn't been to before. I was able to find a parking spot right away tucked in from the street. There were several other customers in the cafe. I ordered and then perused the shelves to see the other merchandise. The cappuccino was very good. They use a brand of coffee called Mythic Goat. There is a fair amount of outdoor seating if you want to take your drink outside. There are some seats indoors, but the cafe is on the smaller side.

We went this weekend to Postino Arcadia for a date night, and like usual, we were quite impressed! We made a reservation in advance on their website, and we were able to sit down without any wait. The host and serving staff were all very helpful and considerate. Being 6:30 PM on a Friday evening, we didn't know if we should expect it to be very busy or quite empty (as it was summertime). It turned out to be moderately busy, and we found a self-parking spot right away in the parking lot. There were more open spots when we arrived than when we left. There are valet options in addition to the self-parking though (but we didn't need them). We met one of the servers and asked for recommendations as we were craving a bruschetta board (four toasts each cut into four pieces) along with a grilled cheese with tomato soup. We knew three of the four bruschetta options we were going to choose but struggled choosing the last one, so the server offered to bring us the one we don't choose to try. We also didn't want bacon on the grilled cheese and asked about a meat substitute. While there was a charge for any additional substitute, we just decided we didn't need the meat in the first place with the bruschetta coming, too. The food was all delicious as usual and arrived rather quickly. We don't know how this location's food and service could be any better! We have signed up for the ePosse and have enjoyed receiving birthday promotions including a free dessert as well as something special for our Postino anniversary. Or instead of Postino, it can be used at other Upward Projects restaurants including Windsor, Federal Pizza, or Joyride Taco. Happy hours are also great daily until 5 PM with $6 wine by the glass or pitchers of beer.
