The employee behind the counter was very friendly and delightful to talk too, and when the food came out it was exactly what I wanted out of this lunch. The french fries were crispy and delicious and the bowl steaming hot bowl of clam chowder really hit the spot. The flavour was great, and if i'm being honest I 100% dipped the french fries in it too, I was living my best life at the counter. Overall, Shady Acres Diner is a charming New England diner and somewhere I'm glad I stopped for lunch at. I may of only spent a little bit of time in Rhode Island on this trip, but thanks to some great food I'll remember it fondly!
