    Travertine floor

Wow is all I can say. My travertine floors and grout look brand new. Charles was professional, and really took the time to explain the proper care to keep the grout looking like it does right now. Highly recommend his services.

I highly recommend Dasani's Company Tub Refinishing!…read more My master bathroom tub had developed a crack, and because it has custom quartz edging, replacing it simply wasn't a practical option - it would have been far too expensive. From my first phone call, Sofia in the office was incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain what bathtub refinishing can and cannot accomplish and gave me honest, practical advice that actually reduced the cost of the repair. I really appreciated that she wasn't trying to upsell me. David Garcia performed the repair, and his 26 years of experience really showed. He was friendly, honest, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. He explained the process, did an excellent job, and left the tub looking great. It's refreshing to find a company that values honesty, expertise, and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dasani's Company Tub Refinishing to anyone considering bathtub repair or refinishing.

We have not dropped anything on this spot to create a chip. David came back to look at it and said accidental damage was not covered in his guarantee/warranty, even though I explained my care and lack of dropping things on the surface. He said he would get a quote for the chip as well as another chip he found. Because I pressed, saying I didn't cause the damage and it should be covered, he said they would touch up the paint while they were already here and didn't charge me. I asked Sofia if I could get the name, color, and finish info of the touch up paint so I could have some on hand in case this happens again, but she said it was a licensed product unavailable to laypeople and recommended I cover it with white nail polish. So now I just have to hope and pray that nothing else happens to the tubs because I don't feel confidence that they'll cover it. They said accidental damage doesn't mean it was caused by me, but apparently it's still not covered in the warranty?? I am leaving some stars on my review because the initial work looked good, and David did work very hard. But if I was looking for a company to do a great job AND for the work to last, then I'm afraid I cannot recommend this company. Initial Review: David was so kind and thorough. He had to use a LOT of elbow grease to scrape off our old paint that a previous owner applied terribly. David updated me throughout and was up front about additional cost to add nonslip surface. The new tubs are so sparkly and shining! I got a quick response on Yelp communication, though I did not receive any reminder or instructions for how to prepare my bathroom prior to his visit.

Since it's in a vacation rental property, I won't be using it myself, but it will see plenty of use from guests, so I'm hopeful it will be easy enough to clean and hold up as promised. I'll be putting it to the test. Serge went above and beyond answering all of my questions and scheduled the job for the day after my initial call, which I really appreciated. He left the area spotless, with no lingering odors, and the finished shower looks beautiful. Since there are no VOC's we could stay in the house while the resurfacing was being completed. I just had to wait 'till the next day to put the shower drain cover back. Overall, it was a great experience.

I hired OBR to recoat the insides of 2 tubs. Short version is I am extatically happy with the…read moreservice, results, and the discounted cash price was excellent. Long version is that both tubs were ruined by living in this house 21 years which made them dingy, my mother in law's assisted chair set up which scratched up the bottoms, and our teenagers dying their hair which set black and blue color permanently into the scratches. One tub was acrylic and the other was metal, (determined by me testing a magnet). They both looked really bad and dingy and I was pretty concerned that the metal one was bound to start rusting out with continued use. The tubs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years even after a deep cleaning. There was no shine. I was embarrassed to have guests use the restrooms, as there's absolutely nothing you can do to hide a bathtub. So I read a lot of reviews and got a few quotes. OBR had a good price to begin with plus they offered a 10% cash discount. I also liked the idea that they were so confident about the finish not yellowing. I have a few re coated tubs in a rental property that have held up over the past 25 years but they have yellowed over time and are ugly. I'm going to invest in having OBR redo those tubs in the near future. I only needed to do the insides. The outsides still looked shiney and new. Serge recommend that I let him remove the drain kit so the white coating did not get on that metal and that gave me the opportunity to run over and buy new drain kits (for about $25 ea) and that was the finishing touch. Both tubs now look BRAND NEW and have a very glossy, almost wet, looking finish. I am thrilled with the end result and feel I most definitely made the best choice in hiring these guys. I wasnt too concerned about the potential smell but if you are, the process is indeed odorless. Serge told me it might take around 6 hours but it actually took about 4.5 hours for him to do both tubs. I had left him home while I was out and had to come back sooner than expected since he finished early, and he was very gracious waiting for me to return. The coating only takes 1 day to cure. A+ experience all the way around.

Stepping out from the corn field and into my life.... First came Rhonda Bathington - the customer service extraordinaire with all the answers to life's great questions. A quick call, some photos of our forlorn tub, and like the sun bursting through the clouds, a quote appeared in my inbox. A gleam of hope. She would send her best man the very next day! Enter Dario Tubland - a man so skilled you'd wonder if he was once an apprentice to the most revered sushi chef in Tokyo (Jiro Ono). He denies, but I remain skeptical. With all his ability, he still finds time to be polite and courteous, taking a moment to great my furry friend. STAY AWAY! I'm writing this review in hopes of sparing you from not only a sloppy paint job, but…read morefrom enduring working with such a combative and nasty man. I was not only treated poorly as a customer, but as a human being. We hired John to paint our bathroom cabinets and install soft-close hardware on the drawers and doors. John boasted of his 30 years of experience in the field, which led me to believe that we were in capable hands, especially considering the price he quoted. However, it quickly became clear that his years of experience did not equate to the level of care or attention to detail that we expected. From the outset, John showed little regard for the protection of our home or the work at hand. He walked across our carpet in sneakers, without any attempt to take his shoes off or using booties. I noticed all he brought as floor protection was an old tarp which didn't cover the entire working space. As a result, he got paint all over our floor tiles which he neglected to clean up. When I asked if he intended to use painter's tape, already concerned with his cavalier approach to the project, my concerns were met with a defensive response: "No, I don't need tape. I've been doing this for years." As evidenced by the photos, this approach led to unsightly paint bleeding onto the walls and the insides of the drawer boxes.Upon inspecting his work, I noticed several issues: streaks of white paint on the toekick, paint smeared on the underside of the quartz countertop, two crooked drawers, and a significant gap in one of the medicine cabinet doors. Some drawers were nearly impossible to open and close. I called John to address these issues, but his response was dismissive: "This is a retrofit. It's never going to be perfect. I can't make it perfect." My husband measured the hardware alignment on the defective drawers and door, and they were severely misaligned. This issue was far beyond a mere retrofit problem. Each time I pointed out a flaw in his work, John became increasingly agitated and defensive. His responses were patronizing, and he acted as though I was out of line for expecting a higher standard of workmanship. His behavior was so alarming that I asked my dad and husband to be present during his next visit to address the concerns. My dad calmly pointed out the misalignment of the tracks and the crooked drawer, suggesting that the issue likely stemmed from improper installation. John's reply was snide: "I don't know who YOU are, but I told her it's a retrofit, and I can't fix it." Even when my husband attempted to explain the issue, using a tape measure to show the misalignment, John's response was, "You're clearly the experts, but I'll try to fix it." Regrettably, his attempts only made the situation worse. Once John told me he had completed the work, I naively paid him via Zelle before inspecting his work once more. I discovered that the crooked drawer was still an issue, and the gap in the medicine cabinet door had actually worsened. He said, "it's better than it was before" (it wasn't). When I pointed out additional areas of the cabinets that had paint missing, I requested a discount. I guess that was the final straw for John. His response was hostile; he slammed a $20 bill on the counter, and stormed out of my house, exclaiming, "I'm done, I'm done." It became evident that he was not open to any constructive feedback and had no interest in addressing his substandard work. John's behavior not only revealed a profound lack of professionalism but also a concerning disregard for basic courtesy and respect. His defensiveness and combative attitude left me feeling so uncomfortable, that I had to get my dad and husband involved. I essentially hid from John until I had to pay him and get him out of my house. Once he got his money, he stormed out the door and drove off in his truck leaving me dumbfounded. I feel terrible for his son JR and assistant Fausto and I hope they start their own business and wish them the best.
