This is classic bait and switch and this is against the law. He then tried to sell me another light. After reading all the reviews, I believe we're going to pursue through our credit card company. GrowAce Customer Service Experience I recently ordered items (Order #GA-224073) from GrowAce, including a light and bags, which were marked as "in stock" on February 27, 2025. After five days with no shipping updates, I reached out for clarification, only to learn the bags were backordered, and they were holding my light shipment until the bags arrived. Despite requesting the light be shipped ASAP, GrowAce delayed further, creating a shipping label but not dispatching the item. It wasn't until I emailed on Tuesday, March 3, 2025, threatening to cancel due to ongoing delays that they suddenly sent a shipping notification the same day--conveniently after my cancellation request. This is a clear example of poor customer service and a lack of transparency. No proactive communication was provided about the backorder status, and they only acted when faced with the prospect of losing the sale. Even now, they haven't responded to my latest email from Tuesday requesting a full refund and cancellation. This reactive approach, coupled with their failure to ship promptly despite initial "in stock" assurances, reflects poorly on their reliability. Stay away. Customer service is abysmal. Only way to reach a manager is through email and you play tag back and forth. You have to send multiple photos/videos to substantiate your broken item for warranty replacement. Still waiting for an item since April 1 and today is May 15!! About 2 months ago, I order 3 LED grow panels. You would think when these people want to literally charge me $50 for shipping (which is even more hilarious because the "shipping" still took almost 1.5 weeks, so what the hell did i even pay for shipping wise?) Horrible customer service. Sent me faulty products I was forced to make my reservoir work in a pinch. I had reached out to customer service and they were silent, so I replaced my reservoir unhappily and expensively and threw away the faulty one since customer service was not responding. Fast forward another week and customer service finally gets ahold of me to basically tell me that it's my problem not theirs. Horrible customer service and low quality products for the price point. Well the sent me a cheaper brand off their website. When I called about the mistake, I was told they would reach out by email. So more bad customer service. They offered me a $30 store credit if I was willing to keep their mistake. Funny part about this is that the grow ace model retails for $199.00 and the knock off brand retails for $119.00 on their site. Seriously you call that great customer service. I purchased a hydro system second hand from craigslist. When I got home and hooked it up, I realized the controller was not working. I was able to call into growace and they were able to find me a replacement controller for my system so it was not a total loss. Although the cost of the new controller was almost as much as I paid for the system, I was happy that there was a solution. read more

Can we please start offering a ZERO Star review? I'm not even sure where to start. We received merchandise that was not operational - the component worked when plugged directly into an outlet, but not when plugged into the brains, which was plugged into an outlet. How do I know this? Because I read the Trouble Shooting Guide. We called in only to be told that we need to video tape the plugging and unplugging and then email it for support, which is available ONLY via email. I asked why I needed to video tape something that they themselves listed in the Trouble Shooting Guide and was told it was 'policy' and may be another known issue. So I asked what the other 'known issue' was and was told they can't tell me, it's 'policy'. So I asked to be transferred to Technical Support but you can't talk to them. Email only. Policy. So I asked for a manager ... sat on hold for 20 more minutes ... and was then told that a manager can't come on line. Policy. So I asked for a refund based upon a defective part. But I was denied because I would not provide a video of the issue. So I asked for a refund based upon the Refund Policy (which I also read) and was also denied because 'policy' is to request a refund via an email only. Sigh. So I did look at my email, which quoted 'policy' which basically encouraged me to walk away, I do believe. And I even Chatted on the website with someone who took yet another 20 minutes of my life away only to tell me she can't help me because of 'policy'. (Yes, asked why she even engaged if policy was not to ... her reply? To provide excellent customer service.) BTW, my perception of the chat was that since I phoned in with an issue, I CAN'T now ask for a refund under the refund policy because I already indicated that there was an issue. Um. So ... I must keep a defective product? I believe that to be correct. Unless, of course, I want to video tape the plugging / unplugging and work with a tech via email. In other words, I felt like I needed to work VERY HARD to retrieve my dollars that I foolishly chose to spend here. Personal opinion: this company intentionally places obstacles in the way of Customer Service to wear you down. That may work in the short term (how many walked away because of the hassle?) but I can't imagine repeat clients are the norm here. They should probably remain privately owned. I understand we were going through a pandemic, but if you can not handle your business during it, you should have stopped doing it till you could. I was trying to obtain nitrile gloves so my employees at our healthcare business were set to re open and have all their safety supplies. I couldn't get them anywhere, I found them here. It ended up just being a nightmare. They didn't ship till at least three weeks later. We had to obtain them elsewhere. I tried to cancel the order but they conveniently danced around that. Hello my name is Darryl Livingston and I brought the air cube active oxygen ebb and flow grow systems 6 site with a 60 gallon Reservoir I set up the system I put my plants in the system I was using Advanced Nutrients following the feeding schedule I set the system to fill a half an hour feel a half an hour drain my plants died in 4 to 5 days the system does not give enough oxygen to the plants but before I was going to say it was the system I plan it for more plants and they died also in 4 to 5 days when I call to ask them about how to operate their system they don't even know they have 2 call the warehouse and they don't even know you asked him to email you they take forever to email you if they can't help you they hang the phone call up on you I called about getting a refund they will not take the system back or give me credit I went to another system under current culture put the same plant in the system using the same nutrients Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and the plants are doing so good because they have air stones in each pot getting enough oxygen they say with their system that the plant gets oxygen when it drains not true the roots get dark and ugly and the plant dies I even asked him to let me know if someone know how to operate the system so my plants can stop dying and they could not help me so now the system is just sitting there going to try to sell it if someone wants to buy it but if they don't I understand read more

When my package first came I was pleasantly suprised (april) because it came fast but when i wrote them sayin I'm missing a piece for my tent (that i was going to use as a drying tent) i get a automated message telling me it will take some time because of the whole covid thing which is understandable. I then write them again sayin it's been over a month and get the same message back again. Now its july (begining of may is when I told them about the missing piece) and still no word on in it besides the automated message... its literally one pole.... On may 23 i first contacted growace regarding my purchase and was assurred from a Christian in chat that it was ready for fedex to pick it up and since the covid 19 things are behind. I had patience for a week meanwhile thinking they got me i ordered another 3 small items for another 8some dollars. A week later no reaponse and no tracking number. So i go again to chat since no one answers there telephone. This time it was Travis.. he tells me its not in stock and they are waiting. So 3 days later i ask if i could pick out a cheaper option or get a refund. Only generic answers. Dont get me wrong always polite but 100% liars. Now i am working with the BBB and with there F rating we dont have much hope. The gentleman at the bbb suggested i contact the attorny general and file a complaint. This review is based solely on shipping services and operations. I placed an order for a 600W Lighting Kit. When it arrived, one of the reflector flaps was missing / not included. An obvious shipping / operational error that doomed my order before it ever left their warehouse. Also, when it arrive the 600W MH Bulb was broken. This could have potentially happened during shipping, but I doubt it because the product was well packed. This could have also been broken before shipment and wasn't reviewed before shipping. When I called to rectify the situation the customer service person was polite enough for sure. But, he had no authorization to expedite ship my missing and broken parts. I was told my replacement / missing pieces would be shipped the slow way...... even though all of this is their fault, their oversight, their sloppiness in operations and procedures. I will never order from this company again I decided to save a few dollars and went with grow ace light instead of its competitor. I ordered my product on May 6th order was processed on Monday, May 7th and made it to my house that Wednesday or Thursday, without the main parts to even use it(bulb, hangers,timer) and a dent in the reflector. Now today is Monday, May 14th and I've called them 8 times and still haven't received my parts that were missing in the box. I've called 3 times since Friday and was told my order has shipped and today I finally got a tracking number to see where it is at and usps is awaiting item still, all the information I have received has been a lie it shouldn't be hard to remember a bulb with a light if anything or get an order that was promised to me ASAP from a company located 2 hours away from me.
