Now that I see the reviews it makes sense why this place was so awful. The service was SLOW with only one other family there when we arrived it took forever just to order. This place is poorly staffed and entirely disorganized. I ordered a calzone for dine in cost 17$ and some change. Expensive but taking the area into consideration okay. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food. When it arrived she attempted to hand me the wrong one when I asked if it was white sauce she looked at me confused and said "I don't know let me check" then went in the back and came back with a box with my actual order in it. Apparently they made it to go on accident. No one called my name for this "to go" so it just sat for I don't know how long. I went to try my calzone and the dough was raw, literally RAW. I asked one of the girls to take it and if I could just have a refund since we had waited 45 minutes at this point and I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes the place was busier than when we arrived. With multiple people just waiting on beers that haven't been poured for 10 plus minutes. She struggled on processing a refund( understandable) everyone that works here seemed entirely inexperienced. So she had to grab a manager who couldn't even find my order in the system. She then tried to tell me she needed the last 4 of my card number to refund me. I tried to explain to her I paid with Apple Pay and it auto generated a card number so it wouldn't match my physical card. She argued that she HAD to have it to process my refund. Which I continued to explain to her it didn't work like that. Which I shouldn't have to explain to a manger who has tap to pay set up on there tills. That is information she SHOULD already know. She finally said she'd just give me cash. Great. Was excited to end this interaction when she threw on " If you decide to come back, just so you know the calzones are cooked that way so they don't burn." Which is weird because having had worked in pizza myself for 5 years I've NEVER served someone undercooked RAW dough. EVER. My boyfriends was cooked through completely and not burnt. So this didn't add up at all. Sounds like they are cutting corners on To gos to save time. So just a PSA they serve RAW dough here. And to the "manager" who so rudely tacked on that she serves RAW dough regularly. I will NOT be returning. And I wouldn't suggest anyone come Rude manager. Overly priced. Disgusting food. read more

The service was terrible. She was very rude and then the wait to get our salad containers was very long. The salad bar was not stocked with fresh vegetables. We were waiting for garlic bread and still had not gotten the bread 30 minutes later. We finally went to talk with her and she then admitted that she forgot about the bread and it burned. This local spy was perfect for an evening Mia when we were in town for an event. The reviews are mixed, but we went in, expecting to have to wait some time for our order. The gal at the counter kept apologizing as it was her first day, but we felt like she did a great job. Their grill was out, so it was a hard day for them with lots of holiday traffic, but it was clearly marked so we didn't get confused about what we could order and what was unavailable. It was relatively full, so we placed our order for a personal sized pizza and went and sat outside. Drinks are refillable so while we waited, we just chatted and enjoyed our drinks. We had not asked the typical wait time for an order so when we did we found out it was about 45 minutes. This might seem kind of excessive, but given that they have take out orders call in orders and quite a few people in the restaurant. We figured it wasn't that big of a deal. Plus, the pizza arrived promptly at the 45 minute mark! I wasn't eating anything that evening, but my friend said she absolutely loved the pizza and it had the right amount of toppings and sauce. She said the dough was crispy and well done, but not over the top. She said she would definitely go back and highly recommend it. This for sure is not a fast food type of restaurant but if you're looking for a fun casual spot to get pizza, we would recommend it! read more

Definitely just. Mid restaurant. When we first got inside this couple were a tad disgruntled because they had gone to the bar so that they can order a beer. They live in McCall and go to that one all the time. They were told if they want to order anything, they need to go to the front and order and then get their beer. Weird, but ok. So we ordered two personal pizzas and I also got the salad bar. If you get an alcoholic beverage you have to go to the bar to get it, but they don't tell you that. The pizzas were ok. Very uneven dough. One side of the pizza was more thick than the other side. I guess that can show that they maybe hand shape all their pizzas?? Not sure. It was just a mid restaurant. Weird experience yesterday. We called to order a pizza as we were coming into town around 6:30. No one answered the phone. Called back 10 min later. Same thing. Tried one more time, someone finally answers then put us on hold for 8 minutes. Finally ordered the pizza then we're told it would be an hour wait cause they were so busy. We said that was fine. Came to pick it up at 8pm. Open signs were turned off. All the staff was in the parking lot behind the restaurant. We apologized asking if they were closed. They said no so we went inside to get the pizza. NO one was in the restaurant eating. They were not busy at all so we asked to eat inside. They said yes. While eating maybe 2 people came to pick up pizzas. They charged us for a salad we didn't need. Other people past by but didn't come in because from the outside all the lights were off including their open signs so it looked like the whole place was closed. As we were eating the staff kept coming out of the kitchen (not to check on us) and were looking at the front door. No one was really friendly. Overall it seemed like a bunch of employees were trying to make it look like they were closed by keeping lights off and not taking phone calls. read more

HORRIBLE. Reviewed their menu. Ordered over the phone a few hours ahead of time for my husband and his crew to pick up when they got off work. Ordered three large pizzas. Expecting it to be 85/90 dollars as per the prices ON the menu. NO. They charged my card over 100 dollars BEFORE even picking up the pizzas, I saw the charge on my account and tried calling multiple times through the night to verify the transaction price, no answer, only a busy signal for BOTH locations. I understand automatic gratuity- but for a restaurant to have no transparency on their menus/website or even the decency to communicate verbally the fees that are to be applied to an order and charged is completely unprofessional and borderline illegal. Who runs a business like that? Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We will never be returning and will advise EVERYONE AND ANYONE we know to avoid this place like the plague and take their business elsewhere. read more

So sad because there are not many restaurants in Donnelly. We will never return because of the poor attitudes of their employees. They said they were short of staff, after we were waiting for food. We ordered a Turkey BLT and a Growler Burger, I also ordered a beer. We finally got our food 55 minutes later but no forks to eat it with, had to wait 20 more minutes for forks. I was told to watch the bar for when my beer is ready, went to bar a couple times to check on it, no one around to ask, even after an extended time stand st bar and waiting. After meal came I went back because waitress said the bar tender would be there soon. When I finally got attention I was told they were out of the beer I ordered so got a refund. We were quoted 1 hr when ordering an online pickup order of 4 pizzas totaling over $100. When arriving an hour later, we were then told it would be another 30 minutes. We then sat down and ordered mimosas ($9.50 each) and paid for them. We were then told the restaurant was out of orange juice. We ordered beers that were cheaper and not even offered the refund for the difference. After waiting for a total of 2 hours, we drove back to our cabin to 2.5 burnt pizzas. When calling the restaurant, Cara Stevens - manager, was completely rude. I was told the crusts were golden brown and they would not refund our money unless we drove all the way back didn't there. No apologies, no customer service. We watched absolute chaos while waiting for our food and they were not busy, most tables were empty!!!!! We will not be back. The food is good, employees are nice. The problem I have is with the fact they have a tip jar out. One assumes they are tipping the employees that served them. Truth is the employees are not allowed to keep tips. The tips go directly to the owner. I understand they get a decent hourly wage but I feel having a tip jar out is misleading. it is unethical to put a tip jar out when the money goes to their very rich owner NOT the young employee serving you. I come in about once a week to make an order to go. The wait is never long. They have a nice bar to watch TV and have beer. The pizza, sandwiches and salad bar are fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. Pay attention to the special on the menu when in the mood for something other than pizza. There's a great gas fireplace in the middle to sit around and enjoy your meal. read more

We are staying up at tamarack resort and I had to run into town so I thought I'd get us all some food couple of burgers one with fries another with onion rings Hot wings. And also a garlic chicken pizza I will say the fries are by far the best thing we had they are fair style onion rings were ok for pre fab onion rings the burgers are kinda different couldn't put my finger on what it was the wings and also the chicken on the pizza tasted like freezer burnt old chicken spend a few bucks more and eat at the lodge read more
