Grub Thai is one of only a few places open for lunch in Snowmass Village, that said, it's certainly not a last resort option. The restaurant features a small indoor seating area, as well as a lovely little outdoor space with beautiful summer flowers boxes. Entrees run $20, with a select set of dishes available for lunch special at $15.98. They also do carryout. I can only speak to my chosen entree, but I will say that any place that has Khao Soi as legit as this, is probably knocking it out of the park on other things. The portion came quick and hot, was plentiful in size, and had all the traditional bells and whistles including some perfectly fried noodles as well as preserved mustard greens. Damn delicious. Given how hit or miss (and expensive) food can be in the village, Grub Thai is definitely worth checking out.

Ramen, delicious but taste like tom kha soup ‍

A lovely, quaint find in Snowmass. If you're looking for a chill change of pace from the busier resort spots, this is it. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly, and the food hits the spot. A perfect little hidden gem.

Amazing food!! Loved this place so much that we can here for 2 consecutive dinners. The curry fried rice was the perfect dish for fall weather . My husband also got larb chicken as appetizer which he liked very much. The food comes to your table in less than 15 minutes of placing order. Located in a very convenient and prime location , the Snowmass mall , which was walking distance from our hotel. Again, best dinner we had during our vacation!!

4.5 stars. Super tiny space so being seated may be an issue, particularly if you are a large party. We went in the middle of the day and were seated at the last table available. You order first and then sit so you have to make quick decisions. If you want something after you're seated, the servers aren't always happy. The food is in huge portions and it is amazing! We got the spicy edamame, the Grub Thai Pho, the Tom Kha soup, the chicken pad Thai and the spicy fried rice. It was all delicious!! You can make anything spicy. They will either put it in the dish or give you the spicy sauce on the side. And man, I LOVED that spicy sauce. The spicy edamame is probably one of the best edamame I've eaten in a while. The sauce was perfect for the crunch of the edamame. The Pho was delicious! Definitely needed the hot sauce, as it was quite bland without it. But it was warm, soothing, with noodles, onions and beef, something that my brain did not know it wanted, until it did! The tom Kha soup on presentation looked so yummy and was yummier when eaten. The pad Thai was sweet and spicy and so so delicious that my friend, who never takes leftovers, insisted that she was taking it home AND eating it. The spicy rice was delicious but we had to tell them to make it more spicy. This was probably one of the best Thai meals we have had in a while. It probably helped that we had just some back from a ski lesson and were very hungry but those flavors are still etched in my mind after a week. Definitely go here, I demand of you!!

Came here after skiing today and we were glad we did! They make a lot of things in house like their crab rangoons and their chili oil. We ordered pad thai, yellow curry, and crab rangoons. The portions were plenty big and we had way too much food for just two of us! The of thai was delish! They yellow curry was also good but could have been a little spicier. The rangoons were my favorite. The only thing I didn't love was the price. It was pretty pricy for just thai food. Overall, great meal!

Well I did not expect to find one of the best bowls of Ramen I've had in a long time in a small hole in the wall Thai place in Snowmass Village but, then again, sometimes it's in the most unexpected places that the best surprises are found. This place is in Snowmass Mall and has about 4 tables and a windowside bench with chairs. They have a broad selection of food which is more pan-Asian than strictly Thai. I had the pork dumpling appetizer and the Ramen. The dumplings were very good and the Ramen was outstanding. It was spicy but not overwhelming, a very good portion for $16 (which in Snowmass is a downright bargain) and had a perfect balance of toasted shallots, lime, and melt in your mouth pork. I was full after I finished but almost got a second bowl just because it was so ridiculously good. Next time I'm in Snowmass I'll be back here for sure.

Hole-in-the-wall Thai in Snowmass Village? Who woulda thunk? Let's face the facts. Having a Thai spot is a victory in itself for Snowmass. We had a long drive from Denver (Independence Pass IYKYK) and after checking into our rental, all we really wanted was some comfort food. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing. The restaurant, albeit its remote location, is well decorated inside. You order at the counter and your meal will be brought out to you. The cashier/server/busser/runner was friendly. Ordered a few appetizers before our main courses. The rolls were crispy and well seasoned. Unfortunately, the gyoza was floppy and lacking flavor. When my curry arrived, the flavor jets were off and running. First off, the portion size was enough for an army. Touché. The broth actually had good flavor to it. There were huge chunks of chicken and vegetables. I wish the pieces were a bit smaller. Some of the veggies were overcooked, some were undercooked. Overall, solid curry broth and white rice nomming. Ultimately, for the order at the counter experience + Aspen prices, I felt like the bill was insanely high. There's not many options for Asian food in the area, so I guess they can get away with it. If you're dying for Thai food, it'll do!

The only downside to this place is that it has limited seating, b/c otherwise this place is fantastic. The food is excellent, the sole front desk staff member is very hard working, and it has a great view of the mall crowd walking past. Situated in the former Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location, it's not a huge place...so get there early or late to grab a seat and a beer to go with your delicious food. The baby octopus is seriously excellent. Wroth well more than what they are charging. Excellent spice and plenty of octopus. The wonton noodle soup broth is very rich. Don't pass on this simple dish. The Tonkotsu Tum Yum Ramen Noodle Soup was spectacular. Honestly, this place makes better Thai food than most of the places we've tried in the DC area...and that's downright shameful. Almost considered stopping by the mall for lunch on a ski day for a reload. We rarely get off the mountain for lunch options...too much time away from skiing. That should tell you something.

On a cold April day, this hit the spot. Some hot and spicy food! You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table within minutes. We went a little over board with ordering, simply because we were unsure on what to eat! I ordered the octopus appetizer. This was awesome- with tiny octopus and plenty of veggies! My daughter had the chicken larb, cold spicy chicken with lettuce wraps. This was good but I was expecting this to be hot! And it was on the very spicy side, so beware! I also had the shrimp pad Thai, which was really good! The shrimp were huge!!! My daughter chose the Vietnamese Pho, which really wasn't very good. We eat pho regularly and this didn't taste good at all. Overall, this is a good spot to eat at. I guess the high altitude really made us lose our appetite, so we didn't finish anything at all! Oh well!

Kind of what you expect in the village; good but not great, not cheap but not too badly priced. Basically average all around.
