This little place is located next to the gas station and it was easy to find a parking spot. When I walked in their was a delicious waft of spices so I was excited. The gentleman that assisted me was SO nice and helpful. I had an opportunity to look over the menu online so I went in knowing what I wanted. I ordered the Chicken Momo with a side of Garlic Naan. Everything arrived quickly and the lady who gave me my food also gave me a sample of their rice pudding. I thought that was so nice and a very kind touch. As for the food, my review is based on my experience only. The Garlic Naan was nicely wrapped that kept it warm until I got to my hotel. I was so excited to see all the garlic that was added. This is what I wanted. It was crisp, light, and delicious for $5.00. The Chicken Momo was a little different. The skins were nice and thin and allowed the filling to shine. Unfortunately, my chicken filling was very dry. They do provide 4 different sauces to dip the dumplings in which was a nice touch. However, there wasn't enough to go through all the dumplings. The win for this meal was definitely the service and Garlic Naan. The miss was the Chicken Momo for $19.95. read more

The food is great and they have some of the best saag paneer I've ever had! I have Absoloutly loved everything I've tried so far. I'm a big fan of Indian food and this place knocks it out if the park. In my opinion, Medium spicy has a good kick without making you sweat and without covering the flavor. This is a fantastic place - surely authentic Nepali / Indian food! We had a big group and tried a number of vegetarian items - Thupka, Momos, Malai Kofta, Paneer Makhni, Mutter Paneer, Daal Tadka and a variety of Naans. The food had excellent flavor and and the spice level was perfect! The chutney with the Momos were really good as well. We went for a spice level of 10 on a couple of items and it hit the spot! Staff was quick and took our orders quickly. We ordered the following: 1. 2 veg Thalis - 2/5 - portion size was generous but flavors were flat, the best dish on the plate was eggplant bharta. I could not finish the samosa (and I have never left a samosa in my life), this one just didn't do it for me. This was priced at $25 - very steep for the quality. 2. Fried momos- was ok, but the sauce served with momos was delicious 3. Naan's- 4/5 both garlic and plain were good, soft and fresh 4. Friends ordered non-veg Thali - 2/5 - feedback was priced at $35 (outrageous for a Thali) this was underwhelming, and bland 5. Mango Lassi - 2/5 -there was no mango flavor, was just extremely sweet lassi Overall we were very underwhelmed with the experience and didn't feel great after, food was bland and very heavy and the price tag for this experience didn't feel worth it. read more

Pros: - prices are very reasonable for what you get. -samosas were all delicious--especially the ones with green peas and potatoes, which were bursting with flavor and not heavily coated with batter or oily. -enjoyed the naan. The food here is amazing but the owner/chef is not the best host, or perhaps we caught her at a bad time? We were 4 families on a trip, renting a cabin in the mountain nearby and came down here to place a take-away order. At the time it was one hour to closing. It took the person at the counter over 40 minutes to complete the first order because she had to run back after every item my friend asked for to see if the chef will make it. What the hell? That's either bad training or super micromanagement from the chef. After the first order was done, and then knowing there were 3 other people waiting for close to 40 minutes they refused to take orders from the rest of us. Instead she suggested we go to their other location 30 minutes away if we wanted to place more orders. We should've walked away but we had close to an hour invested by then so waited for the ordered food. I begrudgingly admit the food was really good and reading the other reviews it seems the experience was atypical perhaps but regardless there were better ways to handle the situation. A simple apology perhaps and some engagement (we get it, it's closing time and you're tired). Too late now. read more

We live in DC and have lived and travelled extensively in Asia, so are familiar with and already love Nepalese cusines as well as neighboring areas of India and China. We ordered carry out to take back to our rental house, which was fairly near by, and got: steamed chicken momos Jwano chicken Lamb vindaloo Saag paneer Mushroom mattar Naan Everything was excellent! We ordered medium Nepalese heat, which we thought was pleasantly spiciy, but not over powering. The restaurant was very busy when I picked it up, but friendly, offering nice touches like complimentary chai and rice pudding for the bag. The robot server, "Bella", was the future of the service industry. A human answered our questions and took our order. Bella found it's way from the kitchen to our table so we could remove the four entrées and place them on the table. Clicking Bella's Thank You button sent her back to the kitchen !! We were craving for Indian food after a long day spent skiing in Aspen snowmass. We placed a pretty decent sized order to-go and were told that it will take half hour (which was fine). We reached the location 40 mins later and were still asked to wait since they werent ready. We sat at the bar and the owner was kind enough to offer us some tea. When they came out with a box of our order, we noticed that they made 3 batches of chicken chilly, even when we ordered only 1. We explained to them that we only ordered once and that its only 2 people eating chicken so there is no way we can consume 3 of that. The owner still did not take it back and charged us for it. They threw in some sweet on-the-house but we would have preferred if they charged and gave us food we asked for. The food was delicious though, would have received 5 stars if it wasnt for the order issues. read more
