The food here is spectacular! We just spent 6 weeks in Aspen & went 5x. So good. The French onion dumplings are pretty much top 3 taste in my life! The sashimi is cry delicious. The rolls. Wagyu and tuna crunch roll...amazing. Sweet Thai chili bluefin. Frankly amazing. The bartenders are so on point. We spent our anniversary here and the staff all remembered us a week later ( yikes we were wasted) the restaurant itself is a great vibe. We sat at the bar each time ( regular bar not sushi bar) and it was fantastic. Highly highly recommend. Better than matsuhisa because it's Asian FUSION. Key word! It's so good. Aspen prices of course, but just an amazing experience! Five stars!

Loved the hamachi with grapefruit dish (might be getting that wrong but it was incredible). Service was great even though they were busy. Fancy atmosphere but also family friendly.

This place is pretty good. The prices are expensive, but unfortunately, everything in Aspen is. We ordered strictly off of the happy hour menu which definitely makes it way more affordable. All of the food tasted good (we got a few sushi rolls, dumplings and spring rolls) and was more worth the price since it was discounted on the happy hour menu

Thought we would go for some sushi before flying out tomorrow. Just a nice quiet night with some light foods that tingle's our palette & what better sushi than Jing. Just to regroup and relax nothing crazy just converse with one another. Service was top notch very mellow engaging but we were feeling more somber than usual. How ever Jing never disappoints & we highly recommend it

Truffle fried rice with $12 shrimp add-on

Aspen is expensive. But $12 to add 2 shrimps to the fried rice is robbery. The rest of the food was solid.

they charged a mandatory 20% tips and on top of that. They still expect you to tip.

This is such an unethical restaurant. The food's prices are already quite high. But for the environment and the location, I understand. What annoys me the most is that they charge a mandatory 20% tips, and on top of that. If you don't pay attention to the bill, you wouldn't notice it, and you will still tip them on top of the 20%.

I had high expectations for this place... I made reservations in advance, so we were able to slide right in to our table. However, I absolutely hated our seating, place right next to this semi-wall space, where the wait staff squeezed behind me and walked back and forth every few SECONDS! It was beyond annoying...and made my dining experience extremely uncomfortable. First of all, the restaurant was small, but chic and nicely appointed...but the layout was WAY too tight, with so many tables squeezed in too closely! In fact, the problem seemed to be too many tables in such a small space. Totally killed the ambiance of the whole place. Truly a shame 'cuz the place was very nicely appointed! Sorry, but minus 1 star right off the bat for the horribly tight seating arrangement. Now, the food. First of all, must mention that the pricing is a bit outlandish. However, I get that this is Aspen...and I know that many restaurants in these parts are priced like this. We ordered this Dragon Roll as an appetizer...and it was really good. However, for a nearly 30-dollar sushi roll, I expected something a bit fancier...and more generous? For our entrees, we ordered the following: Singapore Rice Noodles, Tenderloin Shitake Fried Rice and Thai Basil Free Range Chicken. I ordered the Singapore Rice Noodles...and had major regrets. While delicious, there really wasn't anything special about it whatsoever. Again, for a pricey noodle dish, I expected something MORE. Even a single flower in that basic dish would have helped lol! Same thoughts applied to the other 2 dishes. My husband tried the Thai Basil Free Range Chicken. Again, he thought it was good, but didn't match the pricing. At least I thought that his dish was well presented...unlike mine. My son went for the Tenderloin Shitake Fried Rice...and he actually really liked it (and he's a finicky eater!). Good thing...'cuz this 36-buck fried rice was the most expensive fried rice he's ever had! We finished off with this Mochi Ice Cream (Matcha)...and it turned out to be just 1 Mochi Ice Cream Ball, simply sliced into 4 pieces, and priced at 7 bucks! WOW...I almost felt had lol. I really struggled with the ratings on this one....based on the flavor of the foods, probably a 4 or 5, but the presentation was a 3. Then comes the pricing. If the pricing was more fair, I would have dropped 4 stars. However, we left feeling a bit ripped. I mean, I've had better Singapore Noodles at nearly a third of this price...better presented even! Also 7 bucks for 1 ball of Mochi Ice Cream...simply sliced into 4 pieces, with nothing else added...Really?!? At that point, I thought they deserved 2 stars. Since I'm on a vacation, thought I'd bump it up to 3. Honestly, the best thing I liked about this place was its overhead music. It was very cool...just my vibe. Service was fine...attentive and quick. However, like I mentioned earlier, our seating was so bad, the whole experience was just annoying. Not kidding when I say that the wait staff all walking right behind me the whole damn time!! Everything was just really disappointing (and annoying)...again, just not reflective of its price points. To be frank, I've had a few meals already around Aspen, and I've been underwhelmed with the quality of the foods...especially for its pricing. I don't mind paying 30 bucks for some noodles or fried rice dish if they are actually worth that much...in its stellar quality, presentation, or SOMETHING...but the thing is, I've noticed that with many of these meals, there's just nothing special about them....except for the fact that the prices are pumped up. Well, I haven't given up hopes just yet. A few more stellar restaurant lined up...and I'm just hoping hard they'll be worth it.

One of my favorite restaurants ever! I try to visit every time I'm in Aspen. You really can't go wrong with any of the food items on the menu and compared to the other seafood restaurants this location is worth the price that's posted. I've always found the owner is at this location the most compared to the vegas or Denver spot and he takes pride in the food because I see him checking dishes as they go out. Loved the service this time around especially! I highly recommend getting the sake bomb if your with a group! Experience is so fun you will enjoy your time for sure!

Limited but good selections for vegetarians/vegans. The highlight was the kale truffle fried rice and the shitake mushroom in garlic schezuan sauce. The mushroom dumplings were okay. We ordered a cucumber dish to start but sent it back because it was not to our liking. Good service.

We had a 5 star happy hour experience! Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish - especially the yellowtail new sashimi. Was so good. Their sushi rolls on happy hour were decent as well. Overall I'd come here again for HH!

    Uni shooter.
    Marianne G.

Visiting Aspen for work, I snuck out to get some alone time for dinner. I am always all in for sushi and bonus they have uni! The uni tasted so fresh and the shooter was a good size for the price. The salmon sashimi with hot sesame oil was just ok. The slices were nearly paper thin so I could not get the buttery salmon mouth feel and it was all sauce flavor. Got a hot sake for check-in and the service was great!

Located in the fabulous town of Aspen! Jing is a yummy blend of Different Asian culinary. We started with a sushi roll and soup dumplings. Then moved on to the local favorites. We had the streak friend rice, the curry noodles, and chicken broccoli dish- not the exact names but I will post pictures. Everything we ate was delicious! And the service was impeccable! The owner even stopped by to welcome us in! We enjoyed it so much that we booked another visit for our spring ski. Yelpers check in for a free round of saki!

When I go out, I go to Jing! Order the duck 24 hours in advance!

The service was wonderful, we got our food very quickly, and the ambiance was adorable. A little loud but nothing too crazy. The food itself was fine. The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.

So glad we did. On our last night in town, we had reservations at a restaurant down the street and came here for a pre-meal beverage. Upon entering the Hyatt, a see-through fireplace to the left serves as your initial glimpse into the tasting room. Coming from the traditional mountain chic of the hotel, the Marble Bar's decor is strikingly different, with its HGTV clean lines / grey / white modern aesthetic. Yet it still manages to be wonderfully cozy with multiple small group sitting areas, complete with fur throws and the aforementioned wood burning fireplaces, as well as bar seating if that's more your thing. There is also an outdoor fire pit that looked tempting, but it was snowing pretty heavily, and we said another time. The place was quiet with only 2 other patrons when we first arrived, but after about 30 mins it was quite lively. The mixologist (not to sound pretentious, but 'bartender' just doesn't do her justice) was amazing. I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, but if I say Boston then it should be obvious who I'm referring to. Again we were trying to be mindful and too nice but I think we just went too far for being too nice. I then ordered the other pizza and it was honestly quite mediocre. The waiter was really nice and that's why I'm giving it 1 star otherwise it would be zero for us. They weren't even willing to provide salad. Come on! You can't even make salad in your kitchen? That was just ridiculous. And believe it or not, we had amazing food in every other restaurant we tried in Aspen so this was certainly a one off. My suggestion to the management team is to be honest about your the last call from your kitchen. If you close at 10pm and your kitchen runs till 9pm, you ought to be able to take orders till 9pm.
