New ownership is alarming! Do not take your dogs here. Specially if they are labradoodles .. As soon as I got in the door the MANAGER greeted me with all kinds of fear factors like my dog was possibly going to be bruised from shaving etc etc.. this is what she said ... would most likely happen ... (yea if you don't know what you are doing). I thought to myself. My dog would get this - A hematoma is a localized collection of blood outside of blood vessels, typically caused by trauma, surgery, or bleeding disorders. It's a bruise that can range from a small, localized collection to a larger, more significant one).. this is what she said could happen and in 12 years nobody ever told me this at a groomers. I left not happy and very disappointed I been coming here for over 10 years. I miss the previews owner she was super professional and kind ! Greeted me with nothing but confidence and love..but this other lady is horrible with her attitude and customer skills. The receptionist was good and effective but their manager was no good. So many Business don't realize how important customer service is. They also don't take the time to train their staff. Staff is supposed to be professional enough to reassure customer / clients that their beloved pets are in great hands. Tone is important but what they relate to the client is even more important - when I never heard this from any other groomer for over 12 years yea you better believe I felt I was in the wrong place I didn't feel safe there. Often times bad Staff ..speak from ego not from greatness.. This affects all business.. The owner needs to be aware of this if he wants to stay in business and be successful. Definitely don't recommend this place currently. read more

Seems like this place isn't what it used to be and goes through its employees quickly because they treat them horribly. I would bring my two dogs to Sara because she goes above and beyond for them with all their grooming needs and they are the most comfortable with her. Come to my surprise Sara is no longer there and wasn't being treated as the amazing employee that she is. I will no longer be coming here and recommend everyone else to go wherever Sara goes because you will not regret the top notch service she gives to our precious fur babies. read more

Something is different about grubby dogs now... It doesn't feel the same. The staff has changed 3 times in the past few months. Today the staff was all new again! I normally have no issue with my dog's cuts at Grubby Dog, until the last few visits. The first time I thought it was a fluke; however, his haircut was so uneven.. The second time I asked to have his ears and tail trimmed, but they didn't do it. The cut around his face was crooked as well.. This last haircut today, he came back with red scratches almost like a rash on his belly, and his leg. There was a bald spot on his front right leg after further inspection.. Also it seems they didn't clean his ears, because there was clump of oily hair at the base of his ear near where they normally trim. What has happened to Grubby Dogs?! read more

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the grooming service my dog received during my recent visit I have been a loyal customer for over a year, and up until now I have always been happy with the grooming services provided. the previous groomer stephanie who moved away did a wonderful job and I trusted them with my dog, after she moved another person name Jacqueline took over and she did a good job, however she is no longer their, during my most recent visit someone name Kim groomed my dog and unfortunately, the result was completely unacceptable. when my mother pick-up my dog she was shocked to see his face badly cut up. she even sent me pictures of the injuries, which were deeply concerning. when I called to discuss this matter with Kim, I was told from her that she had 19 years of experience, however, her response did nothing to alleviate my concerns, and the fact that the injuries occurred despite her experience. As a pet owner who cares deeply about the safety and well-being of my dog, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and care shown during this grooming. I trusted your salon with my pet, and I feel that trust has been broken. read more

I have been taking my dog to Grubby Dogs for some time now but today when I went to pick him up I heard a dog screaming and one of the groomers was yelling like "stupid dog, his owners didn't take care of him and wants us to do wonders" then repeated to call the dog stupid. Another worker asked who's that dog crying and a coworker answered "it's Jackeline's, that dog already put her in a bad mood". I thought about telling the front office something but she was hearing it happen at the same time as I was, she didn't address it. Obviously they cover their backs or don't care what's happening within their establishment. I decided to put it here on Yelp in hopes they realize customers can hear what's going on and that the owner reads this and looks into it as well and doesn't bring their dog back. They should be ashamed and embarrassed of themselves treating someone's pet this way when we trust our dogs in their hands. I hope they take this matter seriously and do something about it and fire that girl Jackeline because I'm going to report them to animal control and I'm never taking my dog ​​to Grubby Dogs again. My wife picked up my dog not really paying attention what my fog look like because she was in a hurry to go back to work. When I returned home from appointment my dog haircut looks like a ZIGZAG road and it was really shocking. I brought it back and asked who was the groomer and when she met me, she asked "why what's" and I asked her if she check her work before she released my dog. The manager came up and offered me to fix it and I need to leave my dog again and they will call me he's done. This shop waited our work time coming back and forth and really don't pay attention of their customers. I pay how much they charged plus TIPS.
