Brought my puppies for a bath and everyone was so kind. Faith was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The whole staff was just so sweet and helpful with Athena and Spanky. Spanky doesn't look too happy in the photo but he was just fine and they both smelled amazing like blueberries hahaha thanks Grubby Dogs! We will be back. God bless you all.

Maddie has been my groomer for 3 years now and she never ever disappoints, my senior maltipoo adores her , expect her to treat your furbaby as if they were her own Grubby is always so clean and honestly very busy but Maddie's work speaks for itself. My Chuch always smells and looks amazing , here's a before and after summer cut is mandatory for her breed ! Thanks Maddie

Have been bringing my dog for a while now for haircuts and it was good. The last 3 x have been very inconsistent. It seems like they've had a lot of turn around. This was the last time unfortunately. I noticed my dog very uncomfortable and sitting and hiding a lot the following day. Upon further checking he has what looks like a clipper burn on his belly. Very disappointing

Update; Been back a few times since my last review and still love this place! I usually get my pomsky's haircut short (I know it's bad but her fur grows back just fine and she loves being cooler in the hotter months) but I love how everytime the groomers do give a warning. They really care about the quality of their work and love each dog as their own. Stella (the chubby pomsky pictured) loves coming here as well and is so happy to greet everyone when we walk in!

I've been coming here for over a year and drive 45 min to get my dogs groomed here. Prices are reasonable and I'm always happy with the demeanor of the staff and quality of haircut. I have 3 different dogs of different breeds, Goldendoodle, Airedale terrier, and a small Poodle I mix; and they always make them look great. There are groomers within 15 min of my house A lot, but I love this place and it's cheaper even with the commute and price increase. read more

I've been taking my little guy here for the last year! The staff is really friendly and easy to work with. The one thing I love about this place in particular compared to others is your dog is not there all day kenneled waiting to get groomed. My little guy is usually in and out within a couple hours max! He's always happy and even more handsome when he leaves! Highly recommend! read more

Olive never like to get groomed. We decided to try GRUBBY DOGS since we've been going there. He's been coming home a happier dog on the ride home he never complains. He seems to have a great attitude, he eats his dinner and takes a nice nap. The staff is wonderful. Attentive. They use nice shampoos. They clip the dogs nicely and they always smell good and stay smelling good for a while. At least mine does. I love this business and I will continue to take my dog there. If my dog is happy, so am I. read more

Grubby dogs is the best! Only place I'll trust my boy with! I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever that I take in about once every 2 months. Nicole is the best! My boy is always so excited to see her and always comes out looking absolutely gorgeous, smelling wonderful, and softer than he's ever been! Nicole has a lot of knowledge and you can tell she really cares about the well being of the dogs she grooms. She always makes sure to give me notes on his skin and checks his ears for signs of irritation/redness/infection. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy we will never go anywhere else! Price point is more than worth it. We always pay a little extra for teeth brushing and smoothing out his nails(I don't remember the add on cost it's super reasonable though). read more

Grubby Dogs Murrieta is the absolute best groomer salon for my Shipoo, Jax. He's not the best dog for a groomer so I've had several who didn't work out. Then I found Grubby Dogs 2years ago. His 1st groomer was great but took a pregnancy leave. Laura is his groomer now and does a fantastic job!! She is patient and is willing to put up with him when he's naughty. I also love the customer service at Grubby Dogs! All of the staff are so friendly and efficient. I especially appreciate how they call me just before he's done so I can get him as soon as possible. Try them out-you will not be disappointed!! read more

I tried to use this dog grooming shop by calling them. When no one answered the phone I drove over there. An employee came out of the shop on a phone call, so I waited off to the side. After five minutes of her talking on the phone (while smoking) she never acknowledged me so I left and will find somebody else for my dog grooming needs. Too bad, the location is great. read more

Dropped my two huskies off this morning and they were done two hours later. When they came out they looked like show dogs. I am so impressed. They were bathed, brushed, and coats blown out. I am very happy with our visit. My dogs even seemed to enjoy the experience. I highly recommend. read more

Great groomers! Took our 3 (Pomeranian, Maltipoo and Jack Russel Terrier) and they did an excellent job with all. They even fixed a bad haircut on Terrier from previous groomer! I appreciated that they took them aall and were ready in 1.5hrs.. Reasonable priced and service was amazing!! read more

I took my mini schnauzer for his first haircut. When I picked him up, he was brought out quickly and I paid and left with him. On the way home, I was looking him over and noticed a slice in the top of his neck and a slice on his head where it appears the groomer may have not had the clipper guard on and may have cut the entire hair off his body on those two spots. No damage to his skin just literally hairless on those 2 spots. I also noticed he came back shaking his head and scratching his ears. Not sure if water or hair got into them. I blow dried his ears, so hopefully by tomorrow he stops shaking his head and scratching at his ears. read more

The staff was amazing! One of my pups is special needs from a back injury last year- they treated him with so much care and he was so calm at pick up (he's usually very anxious). My other dog is a black lab. We got her the deshedding treatment and it was the BEST deshedding we have ever gotten! She also was super calm and happy at pick up. I highly recommend this place! read more

Then after a day or two, they reached out to change the time. Alright, not a big deal. They told me that my groomer wasn't available on that day/time. So, they gave me another groomer at a different time. Not a problem. Another few days go by and I get a text that they need to change the time again. Oh okay. It's changed again. Okay, at least we are set. That was my train of thought. The day of the appointment, I get a text saying would it be okay if I came in 30 minutes? Ummm the appointment was at 4:00pm and you are asking to arrive at 11:30am. I'm at work at this point, trying to get ahold of my husband who is at work, so we can try to rearrange our schedules to accommodate the complete change in time. Honestly, my husband was upset that this was happening while he's at work. I was also irritated about this last minute change and only 30 mins notice. That's just not okay. You can't do that to people. I understand that they have you sign paperwork and let you know that there's a 2 hour window for your appointment. So, you do have to be available within a 2 hour window. Which is fine. If my appointment is at 4pm then the 2 hour window would be around that, and it definitely would not include 11:30am. That's way out of the window so they weren't even following their own policy. That's frustrating to me. Not sure my husband and I will pay for this service again, just because of the appointment time changing so much. It's unfortunate because we do like the grooming for our dog. Original appointment was at 8am. They changed it to 4:45pm. Then they changed it to 4pm. They tried to change it to 11:30 last minute/ on the day of the appointment. That's just not professional. The whole point of the mobile grooming is that it is convenient and easy. This experience was neither.

We left without the fish we came to purchase and feeling like our time didn't matter. This occurred on June 14, 2026, between approximately 7:20 PM and 8:10 PM. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning.

my dog has been going to grubbys dog since he was a baby for 5 years. until now 2 days ago. coco has been going there for a long time ever since Debra the old owner was working there until now. he had only been going eoth Debra ever since 5 years ago. until now 2 months with jackeling the new owner. he was perfectly fine with both Debra and jackelin nothing ever went wrong with any personal or owners. Until now the owner changed and personal changed they are very mean. 3 days ago that my dog went to go get groomed and got a call that my dog was being very aggressive and didn't want to get touched. the lady said that it was going to be $15 dollars extra apart from the $70 I was alr paying. I said that my dog has never been aggressive towards anyone and that he has been very clingy and nice toward everyone. the lady said that ever since 2023 they have had in the file that coco has aggrieved pass towards the groomer. I never ever knew that my dog had had that in his file. My dog had been going with grubbys dog since 2019. all personal is new, new workers and everything. they even went far enough to say that they had to tie my dog up and place a mask on him. since that experience my dog didn't get groomed there and from there on he didn't eat for 2-3 days because he was traumatized from the experience there. he is still very scared, pls guys double check with the groomers and the shop before getting or taking your dog anywhere. I was Avery loyal client towards them and really like the place because it was very welcome until now. so pls go tour dog comes home scared or starts shaking or cryign when taking him to get groomed pls ask what's happened!! read more

I have been a loyal Grubby Dog customer for years and I am absolutely disgusted by what happened at my grooming appointment today, July 2nd 2025. I have a beautiful golden retriever who is now completely unrecognizable because Grubby Dogs shaved him. Not only is this something I would NEVER allow, this is completely unethical. Any experienced grooming establishment should know you NEVER shave a golden retriever. Now my poor dog won't be able to regulate his body temperature this summer. Potentially permanently. His coat may never regrow the same. I am absolutely devastated. For complete transparency, I will add that the manager of Grubby Dogs called me two hours after I dropped my dog off and asked if it was okay to "trim his rear and front shorter than normal due to matting." They never mentioned the word "shave." And there is NO REASON to shave his whole body. Again, this is information an experienced groomer should know. I want to add that I do not believe this is the fault of the actual groomer, I believe they were simply following instructions relayed by the manager who called me. I am l awaiting a call back from the manager. Regardless, Lido will never return. And I will never recommend this place ever again. read more

Both of our Pomeranians have had a disappointing experience at Grubby Dogs. The first time, Sam and Reina did a commendable job, but this most recent visit was disappointing as neither of them was available. I regret not following my instincts and not booking the appointment. Our female Pomeranian developed dermatitis, resulting in nearly $1000 in vet bills, while our male Pomeranian's nails bled after his first walk following the grooming appointment. We suspect his nails were cut too short, and we are hopeful that this is the cause, although we'll soon find out once he goes to the vet. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and due to these ongoing issues and unexpected bills, I cannot recommend Grubby Dogs, and we will not be returning with our pets. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Grubby Dogs. My golden retriever was shaved without my consent and without any valid reason. This was completely unacceptable. Any experienced groomer should know that shaving a golden retriever is not only unnecessary but can actually be harmful to their coat and overall health. This kind of mistake shows a clear lack of training and awareness. I would strongly recommend taking your dog elsewhere. read more

During our first visit, Stacey did an excellent job, but unfortunately, after her accident she has not been available when making an appointment. This led us to try other groomers. Initially, I was understanding when my dog was shaved down to less than half an inch, thinking it would be a fresh start and that I could manage his coat better with regular brushing. Fast forward almost 6 months, and after diligently caring for his coat, we felt ready to have him trimmed. He had grown back beautifully and was fluffy, with no mats except for a small area under his ears, which we had specifically discussed needing a trim. I personally dropped him off and had a thorough conversation with the groomer, expressing my desire for a trim to maintain his fluffiness. She assured me that it wouldn't be an issue as he looked "great". To my dismay, when I returned, I found that he had been shaved down to less than half an inch again! I was extremely frustrated, especially after our detailed conversation. They didn't even call me to discuss the decision before proceeding. It was evident that they had not followed my grooming requests, opting instead for the quickest and easiest solution. I cannot recommend this groomer if you wish to keep your doodle's coat fluffy. My dog was not matted, and it's clear that they did not even attempt to follow my instructions. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
