Spending time with my grandsons and grabbing dinner. The burgers were great! Maybe the best Sweet Potato Fries I've had, perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft & pillowly on the inside. The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger was really good. My only issue is that I needed more barbecue sauce. I could have easily went and asked for more but it was a long walk back. I'll remember for next time. My daughter got the Queso Burger, the smart thing is do is get the queso on the side. The queso was really good. I did try the Jalapeno Ketchup - not my favorite! The Whiffle Ball Field was great for the kids. My daughter says this place gets crowded and there can be a significant wait. Which means you have to place accordingly. I think from now on when I visit Granbury this had got to be definite visit!!!

The food was fresh and delicious. I contemplated on ordering the fried pickles and jalapeños and once the food came out I really wish I did but will keep that in mind for next visit. The service was good, you walk up, order your food and they bring it out to your table. The place was smaller than I expected but it was nice and they actually had some pretty cool tshirts on the ceiling which kept us entertained.

The is a hidden gem of a place. The service was amazing. They greeted you when you walk up to order. They give you a smile when they bring you your food. And they walk around asking if everything is good. The burger was a nice griddled burger. The onion rings were amazing. M-F they have beer special $3.75 until 7. Definitely a place to come back to.

Came back on my way through on another job. Better than ever. Jalapeño Ketchup made in house was something I missed last time. Corn Nuggets and Onion rings are the best sides. Bacon burger with grilled onions is unbeatable. Such a badass old school burger spot with a cool ambiance and delicious grub. Can't beat the cold beers here.

I came here because of all the amazing reviews but I left unimpressed. I felt like I could have gotten just as good of a burger at sonic. For a cheeseburger, onion rings and a drink and it was about $11. I don't feel like it was worth it especially since tonight I are at the port and could have gotten a half pound of crab for $11 which was amazing! read more

Ate here today on recommendation of my sister. It is yummmilious !!!!!! My burger was so delicious. Got the BBQ bacon burger and my husband got the chili burger. We left totally satisfied!!! The onion rings and french fries were also perfectly cooked!! They offer you jalapeno ketchup also but we were satisfied with a side of ranch. The serve staff is so friendly and very efficient. You must experience!!! read more

We were travelling through and stayed a night in grandbury. We read the reviews and stopped by grumps for dinner. Fast friendly service, great burgers and the sweet potato fries were my favorite. My husband tried a local brew and found it interesting. Great atmosphere and a great price. If we're in town again, well come back. read more

Went last week while on a golf outing. I don't really know if I've ever had a "bad" burger. I certainly have eaten every one that has been put in front of me. But i will say that this burger was really good. Just a normal cheeseburger with jalapenos, but very juicy. However, not to the point that I had to pick up a fork to eat it. Had mine with sweet potato fries. Very thin and crisp. The next time I'm in Granbury I plan on paying Grumps a visit. read more

Best burger south of Fort Worth. Staff is very friendly. They have a sign if you want a fast food burger you are in the wrong place - they are right .... worth the wait and they have free peanuts to eat while you wait. You could tell it was good - very crowded! read more

Tried it word of mouth.Real hand made burgers,big thick fries,hot and fresh,and the onion rings were to die for with the homemade ranch dressing.Its not fast food.There is a little wait while your order is made fresh.Drink your drink,chat a bit,and eat the best peanuts I have seen in years.My friend that recommended this place is even a better friend now! read more

This place is my favorate place in Texas. My husband whose famiily all live around graunbury, introduce me to this place on our last visit, and since I have been back in Maine all I have been craving is their deep fried pickles, buger and onion rings from there. I never ate in always took it to go, but the place seems clean and well kept, and the order takers were very nice, and patient towards my out of town ways. I look forward to coming back to texas just for Grumps, even told my husband was going to stop there before I go to the familys.. read more

We had not been to Grumpss in about two months and were looking forward to eating there. We were with our family group of 15 people. Unfortunately we were all atly disappointed. The burgers we ordered were very overcooked and the toppings were not at all fresh. Burgers were much smaller than in the past. Probably will not return. read more

Grumps has the coldest beer and best burgers in town, and unfortunately the worst parking. You can shell peanuts to munch on with a cold schooner of beer while you wait for your burger. And there are plenty of TV's to watch sports. read more

GREAT burgers and GREAT service. There's nothing quite like a unique local mom and pop shop, and these guys don't disappoint. Don't forget to ask for their jalapeno sourdough bun. Only thing they lack is a gluten free bun, and I highly recommend that they get the bun Pearl Street Station sells. Pearl Street has the best GF bun in town. read more
