We got Chinese for dinner tonight, and it was AMAZING!! Sarah got General Tso's Chicken., and French fries. I got egg drop soup and sweet and sour shrimp! Sesame Shrimp is still my favorite. They made it as a special order last time we ordered. They do that here!! They also now use DoorDash! Wahoo!!

General Tso Chicken, steamed rice, and egg roll.

Disgusting and bland! They serve dry steamed rice and they're not good at making Chinese food, the worst in Albany. I also asked for fried rice and received steamed rice. The portion sizes are small especially the rice. I recently had this in February 2025, absolutely disgusting and not worth my $14.

The food was great. There are so many different plates in the menu, so it was shard to choose. But the dishes that I tried were all excellent. You can ask the servers to make it more or less spicy, so it can suit your taste. The servers were very attentive and nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant looked really clean and nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I am around Albany, GA again, I would visit this hidden gem 100%.

Standard American Chinese fare. It was decent. Service was good. I live in Atlanta and have lived in different places in the world so I've had much better Chinese. However, if u love Americanized Chinese (General Tso, Sweet and Sour, Fried Rice) u will probably like this place. read more

Above average Chinese-American food. Portions are very generous and very reasonably priced. Kung Pao chicken was a bit mild for me but for most would have been perfect. Jordan (server) was very friendly and efficient. read more

I would love to be able to provide this restaurant a positive rating, as I've seen nothing but great things written in previous posts. However, I've not been able to dine at this establishment due to it always being closed. I've attempted three times to eat here (at various times of the day) while on business trips and each time I'm met with locked doors. Is there something I'm missing? Love their food. Great service and great food at a great price. Eat there often but great for takeout. Large portions at lunch. So much she have to take it home for dinner so you get your moneys worth. And they don't cut corners with their ingredients. Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in town. read more

I've gone here for years. I get takeout quite often. The past few times I've gone in for lunch, I've noticed that there is no music playing at all, and the atmosphere can get quite awkward. I could hear someone slurping soup on the other side of the restaurant. Seems like it could be a bit cleaner (the walls were a bit splattered and such the last time I went). Overall it's a great restaurant in Albany, and everyone should try it out. read more

Portion sizes are Zhou special. I have seen a change in the quality of the food. To me, there is more breading on the General Tso's Chicken. There are fewer pieces of shrimp in the shrimp fried rice. There are fewer onions, and other vegetables flavoring the fried rice. I will go back at least one more time to see if my last order was a fluke. read more

Also, I put my phone number on the paper if they needed to call for confirmation, because maybe my handwriting wasn't ledgeable. I always order the same 4 dishes and rarely change it up. Today, for some apparent reason my Honey garlic wings weren't SPICY or WELL DONE. I immediately called the establishment to complain about the mistake on my wings and get the situation corrected. My solution on this mistake was to bring back the wrongly made wings, but be compensated for my inconvenience. I'm home and exhausted from hoping on my foot. I was willing to get back out and come to their establishment despite my current medical limitations to get the correct order. However, the inconvenience, gas, and time should be refunded with the $9.71 wings on the house. My order consisted of 3 entrees, 1 appetizer, and 1 side. My entire order was $45.37, and I kept everything else because it was fine, but the wings were not. It saddens me that Great Wall's ownership couldn't see the fairness in taking a loss of wings that were prepared incorrectly and maintaining a customer for life. I will no longer be patronizing this establishment unless I have an ah moment that changes my mindset. I honestly felt devalued as a repeat patron/customer and won't tolerate the way I was treated. I know them from my job and have informed them about current sales and promotions. I honestly thought over the years we'd established a genuine rapport, but I was terribly wrong and I left upset and defeated. However, when I say I'm done with you...I'm truly done. I've observed a lot of restaurants could care less about customer's satisfaction, since Covid. The customer engagement, food quality, and service has taken a major decline and people no longer care about maintaining BRAND LOYALTY. Therefore, I'll take my coins and business elsewhere where I can be appreciated.

I have been all over the world and wherever the wife and I stay, we look for the best Chinese place in town. Well, in Albany, Georgia, this is it. The food is fresh, the serving size is large, and the service is decent. There is nothing I hate more than Chinese food where you can tell the chicken has been in the freezer too long, or just isn't fresh. Best tasting Chinese in town. Food comes out quickly when they aren't swamped, and even when they are busy, it doesn't take very long then either. Servers are friendly and laid back, as the whole atmosphere is. They always have good music playing too. read more
